Hyde awakens his abilities of the EXS of Jet-Black: Void Red, which manifests together with his legendary sword, the Insulator. Aside from its already formidable capabilities of slaying immortals, his EXS ability grants the manipulation of flame-like shadows commanded by the sword itself. Hyde's powers however are especially draining on his person as he struggles to completely maintain his abilities and is seen gasping for air or having his right arm convulse with pain if he over-exerts himself. Sometimes, he states that he feels like his body moves on its own accord during combat. He is shown to be able to draw out the Insulator from his right palm.
Linne possesses the EXS of Agility: Speed Star, which enhances her nimble speed and dexterity in her combat skills. Despite her small-frame, Linne is able to make the most of her current body with side-step dodges, combat rolls, and many leaping attacks. This is coupled with her two weapons, the broadsword No Name and her folding knife Nameless. She also has the ability send out waves of energy with her knive and coat both blades with said energy.
Waldstein possesses the EXS of Mountainous Strength: Hecatoncheir, that grants him his monumental strength befitting his enormous stature. He fights with his two custom-made full-arm gauntlet claws called the Destroyers which, in-game, destroys any projectiles he swipes at.
Carmine possesses the EXS of Lifeblood: Blood Spike, which grants him manipulation over his blood. While his own blood act as his weapons, the weaponized form is referred to as Rein Blood and Carmine uses it to slash out, crystallize, and drain blood but at the cost of his own vitals. Carmine also notably drenches his eyes, hair, and arms with blood before a fight begins.
