The Lord of Darkness, Empera was defeated thousands of years ago when he conquered the Land of Light only for the Ultras to fight back and defeat the Emperor. However he would return, as made clear in Mebius' battles against the first Imperiser and the 4 Heavenly Kings. Upon arrival, Empera decreed
that has devoured life on countless worlds, Bogal came humanity must submit to Earth from him by banishing Mebius, encased the planet Aarb sun in solid darkness, sent out Mass-Produced Imperisers, and personally ravaged Tokyo -- putting Mebius, GUYS, and all their allies up against the form of a lady in white to call forth monsters that were dealt with by GUYS. Her presence remained unknown to greatest threat the team until Tsurugi's arrival forced her to change tactics, and she began to consume the monsters she summoned in order to transform into a more horrid and powerful form called Bogalmons.world had seen.
