* AmbiguousSituation: It's not made clear if he's an alien from planet Bunyo or a Flying Saucer Beast, further muddled by the fact that he doesn't have a saucer form despite bearing the subtitle. Supplementary materials usually lists him among the Saucer Beasts due to being sent by the Black Star.

Added DiffLines:

* MeaningfulName: "Bunyo" is the Japanese onomatopoeia for something bouncy, echoing his gelatinous, boneless appearance.

Considering the Key is needed to prevent M78 from falling out of orbit and is a powerful weapon enough to destroy planets by it's wielder, when the Key gets stolen by Alien Babalou somehow all four of the brothers are in a separate room (instead of having at least one of them watching over the key at all times...), only coming out after Babalou-as-Astra had left with the Key. Maybe the quartet are on their lunch break and are playing cards when the theft happens...

!! The Ultra Brothers
The previous team of Ultramen (sans Taro, for reasons unexplained) who defended Earth prior to
Leo's human form. Gen works at Jounan Sports Center, but also serves arrival shows up in this series as well. While Ultraseven returns as the series' attack team MAC. Throughout Captain of MAC (see Humans Folder), having lost his powers to transform thanks to being critically injured by the series, he hones his skills as a warrior under Dan Moroboshi while also acting as an older brother Gillas Brothers, the other Ultras, consisting of Ultraman, Zoffy, Jack and father Ace made occasional appearances, Jack showing up halfway to Tooru deliver Ultraseven's Ultra Eye back to M78 for repairs, and Kaoru Umeda. He transforms into Ultraman Leo via later the Leo Ring he wears quartet all arriving on his left hand.Earth to pursue the stolen Ultra Key.

Added DiffLines:

* ADayInTheLimelight: Jack in "Ultra Brothers, Eternal Vows", when he returns to Earth in order to have Ultraseven's Ultra Eye fixed. The episode even gives a brief recap of Jack's backgroud early in (in the form of StockFootage from Series/ReturnOfUltraman) and playing Jack's theme early in the show.
* BadassBiker: Jack, while stranded in his human form as Hideki Go, does some cool stunts on a motorbike, speeding through Ashuran's rampage to deliver the Sevenger capsule to Moroboshi.
* BadassInDistress: Jack in the episode he guest-starred in, after getting choked by Ashuran and crashing on Earth.
* BigDamnHeroes: Ultraman Jack arriving in the middle of the eclipse to help Ultraman Leo battle Ashuran, the two Ultras tearing the demonic kaiju a new hole. Cue much rejoicing from Jack's fans.
* CombinationAttack: Ultraman Jack and Ultraman Leo defeats Ashuran in this manner, both Ultras landing a kick on both sides of the monster.
* DemotedToExtra: While Jack gets an episode where he gets to shine, the others... not so much. Their parts in the Alien Babalou two-parter pretty much amounts to a glorified cameo, with the great Ultraman King revealing Astra to be a disguised Alien Babalou and then having Leo and the released Astra fixing the mess started by the alien.
* HandSignals: Jack, while stuck in his human form as Hideki with his mouth gagged and unable to speak, tries communicating with MAC with this method that he's looking for Sevengar's dropped capsule and that he's related to their Captain Dan Moroboshi. It... doesn't really work.
* InjuredLimbEpisode: Much like Ultraseven / Dan Moroboshi in the pilot, Ultraman Jack in the episode he guest-starred in gets his hand broken by Ashuran, where in his human form as Hideki he's seen with his left hand bandaged while recovering. Thankfully the injury isn't nearly as severe, enough for Hideki to transform into Ultraman Jack and assist Leo in the episode's penultimate battle.
* MacGuffinDeliveryService: Jack's role in the episode he guest-stars, which is to deliver Ashuran's capsule to Dan Moroboshi, and then taking Moroboshi's Ultra Eye back to M78 to be fixed.
* UnwittingPawn: All the brothers ends up being this to Alien Babalou, whom had disguised himself as Astra, manipulating the brothers into fighting Leo.
* WakingUpElsewhere: After his battle against Ashuran on the Moon goes south, Jack ends up crashing on Earth... and then waking up on a beach. With his mouth gagged and unable to speak.
* TheWorfEffect: Jack getting beated up by Ashuran en route to Earth serves to establish the alien demon as a legitimate threat. As Ashuran shows up near the end of the episode - during an eclipse, no less, where it's powers will be multiplied by the darkness - Jack quickly backs up Leo, knowing how powerful the demon is.
