* {{Adorkable}}: Well, he ''is'' trying his best to fit in with others.

* {{Adorkable}}: He's a very likeable and socially awkward person.

* DiedInYourArmsTonight: In “Elephant Logic”, Titan has just been hit right after defeating the monster. When it deforms, Lance awakens and looks up. To his horror, he sees Ilana in front of him, seemingly dead. He runs to her, and holds her head in his hands, begging for her to wake up. [[LikeYouWouldReallyDoIt of course, because this is only the third episode and she is the main character, she does. ]]

* SociallyAwkwardHero: Not socially awkward per se, just used to acting with courtesy and not used to acting like a normal teenager. She gets better over time, though.

* BirdsOfAFeather: When she and Jason meet and get to know each other, they start to bond. Both feel as if they don’t belong in a crowd and both are fairly nice, so they start to form a romance, even going to prom together as a couple. That is, until duty calls for Ilana, much to Jason’s dismay.

* AcademicAthlete: Subverted. She may not be “academic” (it’s unknown if she gets great grades in school), but she is shown to have great logical thinking when it comes to planning attacks as Sym-Bionic Titan. Also, she did great in the cheerleading tryouts by performing impressive gymnastics, and she is also shown to be a great soccer player.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: She May be a NiceGirl, but she has her moments of holding grudges. In episode 3, she gets fed up with Lance’s impulsive training and recklessness, staying mad at him for at least half of the episode. Also, in episode 5, even though Lance thanks her for convincing the officer to let him go via LoopholeAbuse, she immediately ignores it and chews him out for his mischief, such as doing a car race WITHOUT a driver’s license.

* ItsAllMyFault: As shown in “Shaman of Fear”, she has been baby nightmares that involve her guilt over not protecting her fellow citizens of Galaluna and them being in danger because of her.

* MsFanservice: She has a very pretty face, and wears a wide assortment of flashy outfits. She has also been seen coming out of a motel shower with nothing but a bathrobe on, and stays that way for the rest of the scene.

* AnimeHair: Seriously, how does her hair manage to stay up like that? And from the looks of her dad, it apparently runs in the family. The one time you actually get to see her hair down is ''very'' briefly when the cheerleaders and she fall into the school pool. Cut to the next scene, and her hair is automatically back up again. The hairstyle appears to be a Galalunian cultural thing. Baron in episode 8 has this hairstyle as well, as do several Galalunian background characters.

** Episode 19 shows that shes doesn't always look so fantastic in the mornings.

* CameBackStrong: [[spoiler: Is brought back to life by the head of G3 in the series finale. Not only can Titan be formed again, its power increased greatly along with having gained the ability to [[IronMan fire powerful energy beams from its limbs]]]].

* ZettaiRyouiki: A marvelous Class B, [[DependingOnTheArtist Class A in other shots]]. This is her sense of fashion.

* FrickinLaserBeams: Corus can shoot a beam capable of destroying anything. [[spoiler:This gets shown off in episode 11.]]

** The name he introduces himself to Ilana is [[Literature/SolomonKane Kane.]]

* CrossDressingVoices: Though Xeexi is a male, his character is portrayed by his voice actress Vanessa Marshall.
