* IJustWantToBeLoved: Despite her motives and methods, all she desperately wants is to be the one girl that Kazuya genuinely loves, and believes that the reason her heart beats for him is because it's love and it's real.
* IJustWantToBeNormal: All she truly wants out of life is to be able to do things just like everyone else without being held back by her heart condition. Although it's not clear if she's told any of the cast about her condition, Chizuru realizes early on that she's unconsciously using Kazuya to fill some kind of void.

* UndyingLoyalty: In Chapter 273, Chizuru asks her why she is so dedicated to playing Kazuya’s RomanticWingman, and Mini explains how she admires his love for Chizuru and that he’s TheDeterminator when it comes to pursuing those feelings. Ruka calls her a puppetmaster pulling Kazuya's strings when she's the one blackmailing them, and Ruka often engages in SlutShaming when she thinks Chizuru's had her way with him, never mind that Ruka has tried to force herself on Kazuya and offered to have sex with him more than once.
** When she learns about the reason Kazuya rents Chizuru, she tries convincing him to call things off with Chizuru and introduce her to his grandmother instead, ranting about how his and Chizuru's relationship is doomed to never go anywhere due to her being a rental girlfriend. Admittedly, Kazuya hasn't rented Ruka at any point, and Ruka never saw Kuri as anything more than a client, but Ruka's hardly in a position to judge Chizuru for her profession.
** She hates the fact that everyone's being deceived by Kazuya and Chizuru, and tries numerous times to put an end to their charade by telling everyone the truth. But she'll also lie about how far she's gone with Kazuya to make Chizuru and Mami jealous.
** She gets angry when Kazuya tells his parents and grandmother that she's a pathological liar [[NeverMyFault because she kept insisting that she was his girlfriend]]. Even though Kazuya did this to maintain his ever-expanding web of lies, Ruka isn't being entirely honest, either.
