----
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: While each of the girls experienced hardships in their respective backstories in canon, it's much more serious here, with their current personalities being PlayedForDrama.
* AgeLift: All of the members are slightly older than their canon counterparts, with Ruby Rose being 17 instead of 15, and the rest being 18 instead of 17.
* CharacterExaggeration: The one trait that makes each of the girls stand out, are more emphasized in this series.
** Ruby's socially awkward side is more emphasized.
** Weiss's snippiness is emphasized to being a Tsundere.
** Blake's aloofness is exaggerated to the point of shyness.
** Yang's adventurous elements have more emphasis and less is put on her TeamMom ones. She still has a maternal/sisterly side but her bombastic attitude is more central to her character.
* DarkerAndEdgier: Team RWBY has little to none of the comedic tones of their canon counterparts, and their backstories are much more tragic as well.

!!Ruby Rose, Huntress In-Training

----
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: This version of Ruby is stated by Switchback, to be much more socially awkward as she grew up with her "Argent" status attracting unwanted attention from her peers. In the canon series, her moments of dorkiness is mostly due to her obsession with weapons, trying to fit into Beacon Academy despite being a GradeSkipper, and being relatively young and innocent with her ideals and personality.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Due to the concept of "Magic" being AdaptedOut, Ruby's silver-eyed abilities are the result of being an "Argent", which is a rare unknown power.
* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: Being known as an "Argent" has brought a lot of unwanted attention from her school peers when she grew up in Signal Academy. Some of her classmates wanted to take advantage of her special status, and others bullied her because of it.
* CompositeCharacter: Switchback stated that Ruby's redesign in this series is influenced by her V1 outfit, along with the redesign from Shirow Miwa's RWBY.

* LittleRedFightingHood: Does it need any more clarification?

* ShoutOut: According to Switchback, Ruby's admiration for her late mother and collection of Summer Rose merchandise is similar to Atsuko Kagari.
* ShrinkingViolet: She's quite awkward when interacting with others.
* SociallyAwkwardHero: She's not that good at social interaction, and somewhat justified with how she was treated by her peers while growing up knowing of her special status as an "Argent".
* SuperpowerfulGenetics: Her mother is an "Argent", and Ruby inherited that power as well.
* SuperSpeed: Her Semblance allows her to move and attack at incredible speeds.
* SwissArmyWeapon: Cresent Rose is capable of three modes in combat.
** SniperRifle: The scythe is the default but it transforms into a sniper rifle for long-range attacks.
** BladeOnAStick: Glaive Mode, for high-velocity attacks, mainly when she uses her Semblance in conjunction.
** AnAxeToGrind: Axe Mode, for heavy-impact, wide-cutting strikes.

!!Weiss Schnee, Dust Heiress

----
* AdaptationalJerkass: Zigzagged. In the original canon series, Weiss started off as initially snippy and entitled before mellowing out throughout the volumes, and later becoming the most level-headed member of Team RWBY. The webcomic makes her a full-on Tsundere in order to show her "hard-to-approached" personality at the start of the series.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: In the original canon series, Weiss' Semblance is hereditary, along with being awakened as her own power. In the webcomic, her Glyph Semblance is an artificial one that the Schnee dynasty created and have it perfected by forcing the power into their chosen heirs throughout generations, and Weiss' true Semblance was suppressed long ago due to her training.
* ClothingReflectsPersonality: The red and black in Weiss' attire symbolizes the defiance of her family's traditions and showcase the inner struggle of her identity.
* CompositeCharacter: Switchback stated that Weiss' redesign in this series is influenced by her V1 outfit, her V2 Snowpea outfit, and Shirow Miwa’s redesign for RWBY.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: She's been heavily trained by her family to become the "perfect" Schnee warrior and had her individuality and true Semblance suppressed.
* IJustWantToBeFree: One of her lifelong goals is to be free of her families' twisted traditions, and to lead her own life as her own person.
* TrainingFromHell: She was born and raised into becoming the "perfect" warrior of her family, and said training includes having her in having her individuality suppressed, along with an artificial Semblance being forced into her.
* Tsundere: She is stated to be this by Switchback.

!!Blake Belladonna, Silent Rebel

caption-width-right:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/blake_beladonna_pre_beacon.jpg
----
* AdaptationalBadass: While Blake is no slouch herself in the original canon series, her fighting style notably revolves around evasiveness and defense, and lacks the more offensive capabilities of her teammates. In the webcomic, she's not only able to fight more offensively but has the ultimate move called "Eclipse".
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: According to Switchback, this version of Blake is much more emotionally distant and angst-filled, but with very good reasons. While her canon counterpart has also her fair share of Angst angst, she nevertheless had a more sheltered upbringing (if Issue #2 is considered canon) and most of her shy and aloof personality is the result of the strained relationship with her parents, the White Fang's radicalize actions against humanity and her abusive relationship with Adam.
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Instead of a separate species, Faunus is known as a subspecies of humanity, thus making Blake this in the webcomic.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
** In the original canon series, Blake's relationship with Adam was described as "student and student" along with being romantic. The webcomic keeps their relationship as "student and mentor", but with a familial connection instead.
** She and Sun knew each other since childhood, while Blake only met Sun when she's in her first-year attending Beacon Academy in the original canon series.
** Her relations to Ghira and Kali Shanti are that of a goddaughter due to the deaths of her original birth parents, in comparison to their full-blooded one of the original canon series.
* BadassBookworm: She loves to read, and is a former White Fang member turned Huntress-in-training.
* ChildhoodFriends: With Sun Wukong.
* CompositeCharacter: Switchback states that he took influences from Shirow Miwa’s redesign of her for RWBY, and retool it to closely resemble her V1 design.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: She was orphaned at a very young age due to the death of her birth parents and was raised by Adam in the White Fang since the status of her godparents is unknown.
* DeathOfAThousandCuts: "Eclipse" ultimately comes down like this. It involves creating dozens of Shadow Clones at the same time, and in the split second where all the clones still retain the physical form, force them to converge onto her target and attack all at once with the combined strength of a thousand Blakes.
* DoppelgangerAttack: She's capable of doing this with her Semblance. It's taken UpToEleven with her ultimate move, "Eclipse".
* FantasticRacism: Being a Faunus, she faced discrimination while growing up, and hides her animal trait underneath a large bow to blend in with the human crowd.
* FormFittingWardrobe: Her outfit is designed by Switchback to be both elegant and practical.
* LittleBitBeastly: As a cat Faunus, she has two cat ears on her head, and is currently hiding them to avoid attention.
* NinjaLog: She mainly uses her Semblance to create a clone to serve as a distraction to evade from attacks.
* PerpetualFrowner: She's usually seen with a neutral or melancholic expression.
* ShrinkingViolet: More so than Ruby, as Blake keeps her distance in order to hide her past as a White Fang member.

!!Yang Xiao Long, Fiery Fighter

----
* AdaptationalJerkass: Switchback states that Yang will be much more irresponsible, impulsive, and argues with her teammates and teachers more at the start of this series.
* AdaptationalSkimpiness: In the original series, Yang's outfit already makes her a MsFanservice. But Yang's shorts are more torn and ragged in order to sell out her "rowdy, party girl" personality in the webcomic.
* BikerBabe: Her redesign is this to emphasize her thrill-seeking, adventurous personality.
* BoobsOfSteel: She has the largest breast size than her teammates, and is the strongest fighter out of all of them.
* CoolBigSis: Regardless of their distance, Yang is still the loving and caring sister to Ruby.
* CoolShades: Her aviator glasses are a permanent part of her redesign, and it sells her biker look more.
* CharacterDevelopment: Defied... at first. As Yang prefers to not grow out of her current thrill-seeking, adventurous, party girl attitude.
* DontYouDarePityMe: Switchback states that Yang hates feeling helpless, and wouldn't want anyone to see her softer side.
* DudeMagnet: She's a very attractive girl and is stated to had several ex-boyfriends before the start of the series.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She may be a bit abrasive and is kind of a delinquent, but Yang nevertheless the kind older sister to Ruby, even if they weren't as close since childhood.
* SoreLoser: According to Switchback, she hates to lose.
* StaticCharacter: Invoked by herself, as Yang doesn't want to change her current attitude in fear of becoming like her mother, who's one of the most dangerous criminals in all of Remnant.
* TeamMom: Not yet, but Switchback states she will grow into this as part of her CharacterDevelopment.
* TookALevelInJerkass: After learning about her mother, Yang distanced herself from Ruby at the start of their teen years, and later became the thrill-seeking, adventurous, party girl, at the start of the series.
* VillainousLineage: The thing scares Yang the most, is becoming like her mother, who's an infamous criminal known to the World of Remnant. In the setting of the series where "fate" can be intertwined with others, it has yet to prove whether Yang's fears might come true.

The headmaster of Beacon Academy.

* ReasonableAuthorityFigure

The strict no-nonsense teacher of Beacon Academy, and assistant of Ozpin.
----
* AdaptationalJerkass
* HotTeacher

!White Fang

-->"The Fanatic General of the White Fang"
One of the leaders of the White Fang, and Blake's former partner and mentor.
----
* AdaptedOut: His toxic romantic obsession with Blake is removed completely in the webcomic for a more parental and sibling-like dynamic.
* AdaptationalBadass: ZigZagged. In the original series, Adam is a MasterSwordsman, along with possessing a Semblance that can absorb damage and sends it back tenfold. However, his Semblance only works through his sword, and when deprived of it, he becomes powerless. In REMNANTS, Adam doesn't suffer from the weakness of his canon counterpart, but he still requires a medium to use his Semblance since it doesn't come with the negation to deal with the recoil damage.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: While Adam still suffers the same tragedies as in the original canon series, his noble goal of liberating Faunus from human oppression is much more genuine and less self-serving, and is very loyal and caring to his friends in the webcomic.
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: Thanks to Switchback omitting Adam's more toxic traits along with giving an AgeLift, the bull Faunus' is radically different compared to his canon counterpart. In the original canon series, Adam was presented as a calm and collected WellIntentionedExtremist who's on a mission to fight for the rights of the Faunus... at first; only revealed in the later volumes to be a hot-tempered, spiteful, and mentally insane Jerkass whose noble actions are merely a "mask" to hide his true goal of correcting only his own suffering, and is romantically Yandere obsessive of Blake. In this version, Adam's goal of liberating Faunus from human oppression is truly genuine, and he's more of an aloof NiceGuy whose loyal and caring to his friends and is capable of putting the needs of others before his own desires.
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Instead of a separate species, Faunus is known as a subspecies of humanity, thus making Adam this in the webcomic.
* AdaptationalWimp: ZigZagged. In the original series, Adam was a fierce warrior who mainly relies on channeling his Semblance through his sword and became powerless when deprived of it. Here, Adam doesn't have that weakness, but he still needs a medium in order to safely release the power of his Moonslice without suffering the severe recoil.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
** In the original series, Adam's relationship with Blake was described as "mentor and student" along with being romantic. The webcomic keeps their relationship as "mentor and student", but with a familial connection instead.
** In regards to Sun Wukong, Adam knew him when the latter was a child and trained him in combat alongside Blake. In the original canon series, Sun's existence was a complete unknown to Adam's knowledge for most of the volumes and they only met during the Battle of Haven.
* AgeLift: In the original series, he's estimated by the creators to be 23. The webcomic brings Adam's age at 28, making him 10 years older than Blake.
* AntiVillain: He's a powerful swordsman who's one of the leading figures of a radicalized organization who's willing to terrorize humanity... for the sake of liberating the Faunus from oppression.
* BewareTheQuietOnes: He may carry himself in a calm and calculating manner, but deep down is a vengeful man willing to cut down any adversary to liberate his people from oppression.
* BigBrotherMentor: Switchback states that he's more of an older brother to Blake and to a lesser extent, Sun. He also trained both of them in combat when they were children.
* BloodKnight: Due to the burning passion from within, he enjoys and revels in combat.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: He was born into slavery, and lost his parents when they tried to help the other Faunus in a prison break.
* DoppelgangerAttack: When he accumulates enough energy through his Semblance, he can create clones of himself for a more added offense in a fight.
* EyeScream: Suffers this like his canon counterpart. Unlike his canon counterpart, Adam intentionally chooses to be branded in order to not only kill the guard who's responsible for his parents' death but to fully bring down the illegal mining operation that's causing trouble for many Faunus lives.
* MasterSwordsman: Adam is skilled in swordsmanship and is on par with a highly skilled Huntsman.
* NiceGuy: Despite his flaws, Adam is quite caring to those he's close to and is able to put their needs above his own desires. Also, only (and only if) you're a Faunus then Adam would be courteous and supportive. If you're a human or involved in the Faunus discrimination whether or not intentionally... then welp, it's nice knowing you.
* NinjaLog: While preferring to use his clones for offense, Adam can also have them used for evasive actions.
* ParentalSubstitute: To Blake, as her birth parents died long ago, while her godparents' status is unknown.
* RequiredSecondaryPowers: Trope. Adam can suffer from recoil damage if he doesn't use a medium (e.g. tools or weapons) to safely release the stored energy.
* TheStoic: Justified. As he believes that being outwardly emotional will lead to one's death, considering what happened to his parents.
* ThenLetMeBeEvil: This quote says it all:
--->Adam: "If they want a monster... I'll give them one."
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: He likes to drink black coffee.

A childhood friend of Blake Belladonna who's associating with the White Fang for her benefit.
----
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
** In regards to the White Fang of the original canon series, Sun has a low opinion of them (seeing them has "holier than thou creeps who use force to get what they want") and fight against their terrorist actions. While he does associates with them in the webcomic, he's only doing it for Blake's sake.
** In regards to Adam Taurus, Sun knew him as a child and mentored by the bull Faunus in combat alongside Blake. In the original canon series, Sun only heard of Adam through Blake's description of him for most of the volumes and they only met during the Battle of Haven.
** He and Blake knew each other since childhood, while Sun only met Blake when she's in her first-year attending Beacon Academy in the original canon series.
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: Instead of a separate species, Faunus is known as a subspecies of humanity, thus making Sun this in the webcomic.
* ChildhoodFriends: With Blake Belladonna.
* DarkSkinnedBlonde: He has blond hair, but with a tan complexion.
* NotInThisForYourRevolution: While he may be associating with the White Fang, he's only doing it for Blake's sake, and doesn't particularly agree with the group's radical actions for Faunus liberation.

!Raven's Fleet

Yang Xiao Long's birth mother, and Renmant's most wanted criminal.
----
* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: Considering that she's the most wanted criminal in the World of Remnant, leading a kingdom's worth of sky pirates, and is enough of a threat for the four kingdoms to be wary of other than the Creatures of Grimm, then she this by default.
* AdaptedOut: Raven's status as the Spring Maiden is removed in this series, as the concept of "Magic" isn't included.
* AdaptationalBadass: ZigZagging. In the original canon series, Raven is the leader of a BanditClan and one of the most powerful charactersShe's a trained Huntress, her Semblance can create portals to those she had bonded with, can transform into a bird for stealth and information gathering, and is one of the few who can exclusively use "Magic"., but she prefers to keep a low profile. Despite her deficency in the webcomic, Raven is feared by the World of Remnant as the "Sky Pirate Queen", who's leading a bandit kingdom of sky pirates in a flying fortress.
* AdaptationalWimp: While she's still strong and skilled, Raven lacks the mystical abilities of her canon counterpart, and mostly had to rely on her air fleet of sky pirates and her reputation as TheDreaded.
* BanditClan: UpToEleven. Raven is practically in charge of an entire kingdom of them.
* CoolAirship: An air fleet big enough to house a kingdom's worth of sky pirates.
* TheDreaded: She isn't known as the "Sky Pirate Queen" just by raiding villages from above. If leading a bandit kingdom in a flying fortress isn't enough, then having Switchback describe Raven's fleet as something for the four kingdoms to be cautious of other than the Creatures of Grimm, is saying something.
* FirstLove: To Taiyang Xiao Long.
* NotoriousParent: She is Yang's biological mother. However, she is also the most renown female criminal on the planet. Seeing as how her younger half-sister Ruby follows a HeroicLineage, Yang worries that she's destined to follow in Raven's footsteps.
* RedBaron: She is known as "The Queen of Dawn", or more appropriately, "The Sky Pirate Queen".

!Others

The late mother of Ruby Rose and Yang Xiao Long, and a legendary Huntress who's well-known to the World of Remnant for her status as an "Argent".
----
* LightIsGood: Her cloak is white and is a legendary hero.
* PosthumousCharacter: Like her canon counterpart, Summer died long before the start of the webcomic.
* SecondLove: After Raven left, she serves as this to Taiyang.

----
* AdaptationalJerkass: Switchback states that Yang will be much more irresponsible, impulsive, and argues with her teammates and teachers more at the start of this series.

* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:

----
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
* ChildhoodFriends: With Blake Belladonna.
* DarkSkinnedBlonde: He has blond hair, but with a tan complexion.
* NotInThisForYourRevolution: While he may be associating with the White Fang, he's only doing it for Blake's sake, and doesn't particularly agree with the group's radical actions for Faunus liberation.

----
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: While each of the girls experienced hardships in their respective backstories in canon, it's much more serious here, with their current personalities being PlayedForDrama.
* ActionGirl: They're teenage girls who prove to be vicious in battle, with each having their own unique fighting style.

----
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: This version of Ruby is stated by Switchback, to be much more socially awkward as she grew up with her "Argent" status attracting unwanted attention from her peers.
* Adorkable: She aspires to be a cool hero, and is quite endearing in her interactions with others.
* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: Being known as an "Argent" has brought a lot of unwanted attention from her school peers while growing up in Signal Academy, with those wanting to take advantage of her special status while others bullying her because of it.
* CompositeCharacter: Switchback stated that Ruby's redesign in this series is influenced by her V1 outfit, along with the redesign from Shirow Miwa's RWBY.
* GradeSkipper: She is allowed to attend Beacon Academy one year early by Ozpin.
* LittleRedFightingHood: Does it need any more clarification?
* PerkyGoth: She has a gothic appearance, but is nevertheless outgoing and cheerful at times.
* RedIsHeroic: She wears red in her attire, and is one of the main heroes of the series.
** SinisterScythe / SniperRifle: Default Scythe Mode, for effective close and long-range attacks.
** BladeOnAStick: Glaive Mode, for high-velocity attacks, mainly when she uses her Semblance in conjunction.
** AnAxeToGrind: Axe Mode, for heavy-impact, wide-cutting strikes.

----
* AdaptationalJerkass: Zigzagged.

----
* AdaptationalBadass: While Blake is no slouch herself in the original canon series, her fighting style notably revolves around evasiveness and defense, and lacks the more offensive capabilities of her teammates.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
* ChildhoodFriends: With Sun Wukong.
* ShrinkingViolet: More so than Ruby, as Blake keeps her distance in order to hide her past as a White Fang member.

at first; only revealed in the later volumes to be a hot-tempered, spiteful, and mentally insane Jerkass whose noble actions are merely a "mask" to hide his true goal of correcting only his own suffering, and is romantically Yandere obsessive of Blake.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
* RequiredSecondaryPowers: Adam can suffer from recoil damage if he doesn't use a medium (e.g. tools or weapons) to safely release the stored energy.
* TheStoic: Justified. As he believes that being outwardly emotional will lead to one's death, considering what happened to his parents.

While he does associates with them in the webcomic, he's only doing it for Blake's sake.

----
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: While each of the girls experienced hardships in their respective backstories in canon, it's much more serious here, with their current personalities being PlayedForDrama.
* ActionGirl: They're teenage girls who prove to be vicious in battle, with each having their own unique fighting style.

* Tsundere: She is stated to be this by Switchback.

caption-width-right:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/blake_beladonna_pre_beacon.jpg
----
* AdaptationalBadass: While Blake is no slouch herself in the original canon series, her fighting style notably revolves around evasiveness and defense, and lacks the more offensive capabilities of her teammates.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
* ChildhoodFriends: With Sun Wukong.

----
* AdaptationalJerkass: Switchback states that Yang will be much more irresponsible, impulsive, and argues with her teammates and teachers more at the start of this series.
* InTheBlood: The thing scares Yang the most, is becoming like her mother, who's an infamous criminal known to the World of Remnant. In the setting of the series where "fate" can be intertwined with others, it has yet to prove whether Yang's fears might come true.
* TookALevelInCynic / TookALevelInJerkass: After learning about her mother, Yang distanced herself from Ruby at the start of their teen years, and later became the thrill-seeking, adventurous, party girl, at the start of the series.

However, his Semblance only works through his sword, and when deprived of it, he becomes powerless. The RWBY: Cherish Adam doesn't suffer from the weakness of his canon counterpart, but he still requires a medium to use his Semblance since it doesn't come with the negation to deal with the recoil damage.
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: While each of the girls experienced hardships in their respective backstories in canon, it's much more serious here, with their current personalities being PlayedForDrama.
* ActionGirl: They're teenage girls who prove to be vicious in battle, with each having their own unique fighting style.

* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
* ChildhoodFriends: With Sun Wukong.

* InTheBlood: The thing scares Yang the most, is becoming like her mother, who's an infamous criminal known to the World of Remnant. In the setting of the series where "fate" can be intertwined with others, it has yet to prove whether Yang's fears might come true.
* TookALevelInCynic / TookALevelInJerkass: After learning about her mother, Yang distanced herself from Ruby at the start of their teen years, and later became the thrill-seeking, adventurous, party girl, at the start of the series.

The strict no-nonsense teacher of Beacon Academy, and assistant of Ozpin.

* AdaptationalJerkass
* HotTeacher

The RWBY: Cherish Adam doesn't suffer from the weakness of his canon counterpart, but he still requires a medium to use his Semblance since it doesn't come with the negation to deal with the recoil damage.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
* ThenLetMeBeEvil: This quote says it all:
--> Adam: "If they want a monster... I'll give them one."
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: He likes to drink black coffee.

A childhood friend of Blake Belladonna who's associating with the White Fang for her benefit.
----
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
* ChildhoodFriends: With Blake Belladonna.

----
* LightIsGood: Her cloak is white and is a legendary hero.

* SecondLove: After Raven left, she serves as this to Taiyang.

The RWBY: Cherish Adam doesn't suffer from the weakness of his canon counterpart, but he still requires a medium to use his Semblance since it doesn't come with the negation to deal with the recoil damage.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:

----
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: While each of the girls experienced hardships in their respective backstories in canon, it's much more serious here, with their current personalities being PlayedForDrama.
* ActionGirl: They're teenage girls who prove to be vicious in battle, with each having their own unique fighting style.

----
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: This version of Ruby is stated by Switchback, to be much more socially awkward as she grew up with her "Argent" status attracting unwanted attention from her peers.

----
* AdaptationalBadass: While Blake is no slouch herself in the original canon series, her fighting style notably revolves around evasiveness and defense, and lacks the more offensive capabilities of her teammates.
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
* ChildhoodFriends: With Sun Wukong.

A childhood friend of Blake Belladonna who's associating with the White Fang for her benefit.
----
* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul:
* ChildhoodFriends: With Blake Belladonna.
* DarkSkinnedBlonde: He has blond hair, but with a tan complexion.
* NotInThisForYourRevolution: While he may be associating with the White Fang, he's only doing it for Blake's sake, and doesn't particularly agree with the group's radical actions for Faunus liberation.

In the original series, Raven is the leader of a BanditClan and one of the most powerful charactersShe's a trained Huntress, her Semblance can create portals to those she had bonded with, can transform into a bird for stealth and information gathering, and is one of the few who can exclusively use "Magic"., but she prefers to keep a low profile. Despite her deficency here, Raven is feared by the World of Remnant as the "Sky Pirate Queen", who's leading a bandit kingdom of sky pirates in a flying fortress.
* AdaptationalWimp: While she's still strong and skilled, Raven lacks the mystical abilities of her canon counterpart, and mostly had to rely on her air fleet of sky pirates and her reputation as TheDreaded.
* BanditClan: UpToEleven. Instead of a small tribe like in canon, Raven is practically in charge of an entire kingdom of them.
* TheDreaded: If being known as the fearsome "Sky Pirate Queen" leading a bandit kingdom in a flying fortress isn't enough, then having Switchback describe Raven's fleet as something for the four kingdoms to be cautious of other than the Creatures of Grimm, then that is saying something.
