* InformedAttrribute: Despite having several trophies for various accomplishments, he's always relying on Monty to cheat for new trophies or to keep the ones he currently has rather than any actual skills that are necessary. It's possible he might have cheated to win those trophies in the first place.

* ShesAManInJapan: Her Sentai counterpart, Kyuemon Izayoi, is male (though voiced by [[Creator/MegumiHan a woman]] and was not known to be otherwise for a long time).

* DiscOneFinalBoss: Arguably this for the Galactic Ninjas arc. Despite being the leader, he is the third out of the four members to be killed, with Venoma lasting a couple episodes longer than him.

* InformedAbility: The "master of surprise attacks and strategy" is anything but. Because he chooses his attack with a roll of the dice, the Rangers can't guess his attacks because even ''he'' can't, not of strategy but random chance. Also, having to wait for the dice to land and then begin his attacks makes him ''anything but'' a master of ''surprise'' attacks. He meets his end the ''instant'' it occurs to the Rangers to just blast him before he can do all that.

* OurWerewolvesAreDifferent: Can turn people into werewolves if they are struck by one of his claws. They remain as werewolves until the claw is removed.

* SchrodingersCast: In Ninninger, the ranger's zords formed together into Shuriken Gattai Shurikenjin (the Ninja Steel Megazord) to destroy Ripperrat's Sentai counterpart. As the Megazord wasn't to appear until the next episode, Ripperrat only fought the ranger's individual zords and was destroyed by a combined blast from the ranger's Ninja Blasters. The show worked around this by giving Ripperrat an identical twin brother, Trapsaw, and used the Megazord footage for ''his'' death in a later episode.

* EpicFlail: Can use his shield attached to his chained axe.

* JackOfAllTrades: Although he isn't overpowering, Wolvermean is effective in all areas of combat. His chain has enough power and versalite range, skilled enough in ninjutsu, quick enough to blindside half of the team and steal almost all of their memories, and his shield is useful for close range combat and defense.
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler: Is stabbed in the back by Odius using her Foxatron zord due to him taking too long to destroy the Rangers and their new Ninja Blaze Megazord.]]

* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Brody accidentally sticked Speedwing's own Speed Power Star from behind, making his speed uncontrollable and falling into the rangers line of attack.

* LightningBruiser: It's no wonder he names himself the fastest Galactic Ninja. His speed, even when reduced, is still fast enough to run circles around the rangers. That doesn't ignore his strength and defense. He can knock out the rangers with just a sword slash, has enough range to keep his opponents at bay, and can deflect elemental ninjutsu with little difficulty. The only way the rangers win is through [[HoistByHisOwnPetard making him unable to control his own speed star]].

* HoistByHisOwnPetard: The rangers defeat him by creating a new strategy with their clones to overwhelm him with a new attack while he's busy trying to spin the dice and when he grows giant, his focus on that distracts him from the rangers just deciding to finish him off already.
* InformedAbility: The "master of surprise attacks and strategy" is anything but. Because he chooses his attack with a roll of the dice, the Rangers can't guess his attacks because even ''he'' can't, not strategy but random chance.
