!!Tyler Navarro[=/=]Dino Charge Red

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_tyler.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''It's about to get wild!'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Brennan Mejia
->'''Voiced by''': Creator/EdsonMatus (Latin American Spanish dub)

Tyler Navarro, the leader of the Rangers, is a free-spirited adventurer with a huge heart. Determined to solve the mystery of his father's disappearance, this curious and energetic Ranger is nothing to mess with when it comes to defeating evil. For Tyler, making friends is easy, but will defending Earth be just as simple?

'''Dinosaur Spirit''': Tyrannosaurus Rex

'''Gear''': Red Energem / Dino Charge Morpher / Dino Com / Dino Saber / T-Rex Smasher

* AdaptationalWimp: While a badass,Tyler isn't TheAce like [[Series/ZyudenSentaiKyoryuger Daigo]] was, [[TropesAreTools this is also one of the reasons he's not a]] BaseBreakingCharacter [[TropesAreTools unlike Daigo]].
* {{Adorkable}}: Makes corny, but endearing, puns at monsters, calls his zord "Rexy", and is super psyched to be a ''bus boy''.
* BadassNormal: He went toe-to-toe with Fury using only his sword and rage, something Riley admits he was lucky with.
* BerserkButton:
** Never, ever mock his father. Fury learned it the hard way.
** Don't suggest he shouldn't try looking for his dad, regardless of the reason.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Tyler is a perfectly awesome and compassionate guy, but Fury learned the hard way that if you mock his friends/family, he will wreck you with a vengeance.
%%* BigOlEyebrows
* DeadpanSnarker: His quips and banter comes more akin to an adventure hero or superhero's style, though it can come off as snark at time. For example, he takes time out from fighting a monster to snark about Shelby's nametag while introducing himself at the same time.
* DisappearedDad: Vanished ten years ago. Tyler starts the series looking for him.
* GreenEyedEpiphany: He starts to acknowledge his feelings for Shelby (with a little help from Chase) after becoming jealous when one of the N-Zed Boyz suggests she join the band.
* TheLeader: As the Red Ranger, did you expect any different?
* TheNicknamer: Calls the T-Rex Zord "Rexy".
* NoIndoorVoice: We have yet another Red Ranger who slips into this whenever he's morphed.
* PerformanceAnxiety: "The Silver Secret" reveals that he suffers from stage fright.
* PowerFist: His T-Rex Smasher.
* RookieRedRanger: Chase and Koda had found their energems, and been mentored by Keeper and Kendall before he found his.
* ShipTease: With Shelby. It mostly manifests as concern when she's off on her own during attacks, but gets pushed into the forefront when he gets jealous of her going shopping with Ivan in "Sync or Swim", and with their almost-date in "Wishing for a Hero". The two share a heartfelt conversation in "The Silver Secret", culminating in an AlmostKiss that Koda interrupts.
* SomebodySetUpUsTheBomb: In the GrandFinale of ''Dino Super Charge'', [[spoiler:Tyler does the same thing Keeper did, swapping out the Energems for the unstable crystal, this time destroying Fury]].

!!Chase Randall[=/=]Dino Charge Black

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_chase.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''I've ridden everything from roller-coasters to kangaroos.'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': James Davies
->'''Voiced by''': Luis Fernando Orozco (Latin American Spanish dub)

Even though Chase Randall is from New Zealand, he can feel at home anywhere as long as he's riding around on his beloved skateboard. Chase may be a flirt, but meet him on the battlefield and you'll be flirting with disaster.

'''Dinosaur Spirit''': Parasaurolophus

'''Gear''': Black Energem / Dino Charge Morpher / Dino Com / Dino Saber / Para Chopper

* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: Except while on his board.
* ButtMonkey: To Sledge's monsters. It may be a product of [[AdaptationExpansion Sentai footage]], but in quick succession, he's caged in a cave, zapped with a mind control spell, and given a massive toothache - effects which the other members of the team either don't experience at all or only very briefly if so.
* CasanovaWannabe: He's quite a shameless flirt. In the first episode, he flirts with two girls (who quickly shoot him down), then flirts with Shelby mere minutes later.
* CharacterDevelopment: As the series goes on, Chase becomes a wiser, more centered, and definitely a more devout person.
* CoolBoard: A black skateboard with a kiwi on it. His ability to focus while boarding even helps him break out of a mind control spell.
* DistractedByTheSexy: More than once, Chase has been distracted by a good-looking lady. In one instant, it happened during a trust exercise. And another while he was supposed to be working in the kitchen.
* TheGunslinger: Chase is usually the Ranger most often shown using his gun in a battle.
* HeadphonesEqualIsolation: He's first introduced listening to them while working, making it difficult for Tyler to get his attention.
* ItsAllAboutMe: He almost lost his girlfriend Kaylee due to only focusing on himself and not taking the time to learn anything about her. He gets better, though.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Chase isn't a bad person by any stretch, but he can be irresponsible, insensitive and overly confrontational at times. This ends up being a plot point in "True Black", where his insensitive behavior towards Shelby gets him in trouble with his Energem.
* TheLancer: Aside from TheLawOfChromaticSuperiority, Chase is established to be ''Kendall's'' first choice as leader. He regularly takes charge of things at hand and chastised Tyler for going off on a hunch, but he apologized later.
* LivingForeverIsAwesome: Due to [[TheCasanova his personality]], he seems happy about the fact having an Energem means he's now TheAgeless.
* WearingAFlagOnYourHead: The kiwi on the skateboard. It's in the OP and everything!

!!Koda[=/=]Dino Charge Blue

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_koda.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''Someone say burgers?'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Yoshi Sudarso
->'''Voiced by''': Creator/LuisDanielRamirez (Latin American Spanish dub)

Koda is the oldest Dino Charge Ranger... by 100,000 years! It may be funny to watch this caveman maneuver the modern world, but his incredible strength and natural intuition are no laughing matter. This pre-historic Ranger has a heart of gold and will stop at nothing to defend Earth.

'''Dinosaur Spirit''': Stegosaurus

'''Gear''': Blue Energem / Dino Charge Morpher / Dino Com / Dino Saber / Stego Shield

* {{Adorkable}}: Just like his Sentai counterpart, he's very clumsy and can't seem to fit in, but the latter is for [[FishOutOfTemporalWater different reasons]].
* AllCavemenWereNeanderthals: Averted. Koda's the muscle of the team and [[HypocriticalHumor he no speak good]], but he looks like a modern human, and it's made clear (especially in "Return of the Caveman") that he's as intelligent as one, too. He was just raised to learn survival skills instead of modern technology and language.
* BigBrotherInstinct: He apparently was frozen after saving his younger brother, Taku, from a saber-tooth.
* TheBigGuy: Super strong and a caveman with a fighting style based off of throwing his weight around.
* BigEater: He munches down hard on a pretty large burger and seems to finish it in no time.
* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: His SuperStrength ''isn't'' from the Dino Gem. He's ''naturally'' that strong due to being a caveman.
* DoesNotLikeShoes: He prefers sandals if he's forced, saying that shoes squeeze his toes.
* ExtremeOmnivore: Eats crayons according to ''Roar of the Red Ranger''
* FamousAncestor: His grandfather invented the wheel.
* FirstNameBasis: Is the only one that can use Kendall's first name without her responding "It's Ms. Morgan".
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: He's way out of his timeline and takes some time getting used to the changes the world has gone through.
* HumanPopsicle: Appears to be what happened to him, as we see him falling into an ice filled ocean with his Energem activating. He confirms it in the next episode.
* MrFanservice: He constantly walks around the command center shirtless, and he's quite ripped.
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: His zord forms a shield for the Megazord.
* MeaningfulName: Intentional or not, there is the Japanese word ''kodai'', which means "ancient"... Which suits Koda well, being him a caveman.
* MundaneUtility: SuperStrength, heightened senses and reflexes turn out to be extremely effective in baseball.
* OddFriendship: With Prince Phillip, whom he advises when Phillip has found the Graphite Energem and hopes to bond with it.
* ShieldBash: One of his common techniques. He refers to it as "Stego Shield Punch".
* SuperStrength: He effortlessly lifts a crate, presumably filled with heavy equipment, and Shelby atop it. Note, this is ''without''transforming.
* Really700YearsOld: He has existed for over 100,000 years.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: The "Bronto" burger from the museum's Dino Bite Cafe, and he likes it rare.
* UndyingLoyalty: He views the Rangers as his new family. He's so loyal that a monster of the day who can destroy friendships was unable to break Koda's relationship with them.
* WalkingShirtlessScene: He sleeps in his cave without a shirt. He walks around without one after waking up.
* WhatsUpKingDude: He greets Prince Phillip with the same eager enthusiasm as he does anyone else.
* YouNoTakeCandle: Justified as he is a caveman. He does ''try'' to avert it though.

!!Riley Griffin[=/=]Dino Charge Green

->'''Portrayed by''': Michael Taber
->'''Voiced by''': Creator/EnzoFortuny (Latin American Spanish dub)

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_riley.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''When I was growing up on my family's ranch everyone used to make assumptions about me, and they were mostly wrong ones.'']]

Riley Griffin may be quiet, but his intelligence and amazing discipline speak loud and clear. After leaving his family's ranch to defend Earth, Riley's confidence and incredible sword skills have made him a fierce member on the Ranger team. With a love for brainteasers and battling evil, Riley is one well-rounded Ranger.

'''Dinosaur Spirit''': Velociraptor

'''Gear''': Green Energem / Dino Charge Morpher / Dino Com / Dino Saber / Raptor Claw

* AgentScully: While certainly smart and talented, he's consistently the most skeptical in the group and is quick to admit his disbelief.
* AwesomenessByAnalysis: Showcased in "When Logic Fails", where he can make precise mathematical calculations just by observing things around him. This becomes instrumental in saving his friends, as he calculates the dimensions of the air vent grates and, from there, the force and angle at which he had to throw marbles into each of them so his teammates will locate them.
* TheBladeAlwaysLandsPointyEndIn: Riley was shown to have thrown his sword right in the center of a wooden wheel.
* CompetitionFreak: Riley can be a bit...pushy when it comes time to compete for something. His pushing himself to beat Fury is one thing, but he could also be a bit.. controlling like when Koda got a chance to be a baseball player. (It's a long story) During the events of "Gone Finishing", he actually declares "competition is fun" early on in the episode.
* HeroesLoveDogs: Cares very much about his dog, Rubik.
* PhraseCatcher: At times, many characters said to him remarking that he is playing, which results in...
** CatchPhrase: "I'm not playing". Depending on the situation, may count as a BadassBoast
* ReverseGrip: Starting from about episode 4, he often holds his Dino Saber like this.
* TheRival: Due to his rather close encounter with him in the second episode, Riley seems to have developed a rivalry with Fury, albeit a one-sided one on his own part. He explains to Chase in episode 6 that his strict training regime is mostly to prepare himself for their next inevitable encounter.
* SecondEpisodeIntroduction: He doesn't appear at all in the pilot episode.
* TheSmartGuy: Episode 9 firmly establishes him as this.
* TheSpock: Especially in ''Super Charge'', he is quite often using logic to rationalize every action he and the rangers do.
* VitriolicBestBuds: To Chase. He is usually the first one to snark or roll his eyes at Chase's antics.
* WolverineClaws: His raptor claw is set up like this.
* YoungerThanTheyLook: He's supposed to be the youngest member of the team at 17, but due to DawsonCasting (his actor turned 21 during ''Dino Charge'', and was 22 by the end of ''Super Charge''), he looks the same age as the rest of the rangers.

!!Shelby Watkins[=/=]Dino Charge Pink

->'''Portrayed by''': Camille Hyde
->'''Voiced by''': Andrea Orozco (Latin American Spanish dub)

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_shelby.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''It doesn't seem right. We save the world in the morning and serve them lunch in the afternoon.'']]

Shelby Watkins is known to leap before she looks, and her amazing bravery is matched by her incredible knowledge of dinosaurs. She's strong willed, stubborn and a nightmare for any evil villain. Even though Shelby may seem pretty serious, she also has a softer side... especially when it comes to the Red Ranger.

'''Dinosaur Spirit''': Triceratops

'''Gear''': Pink Energem / Dino Charge Morpher / Dino Com / Dino Saber / Tricera Drill

* ActionGirl: She may be the only girl, but she more than makes up for it by kicking every bit as much ass as the others. Her actress is pretty ripped too.
* BurgerFool: While all the Rangers work in the museum's Dino Bite Cafe, Shelby's the only one who openly hates the job.
* ButtMonkey: She's this in the first few episodes, from having to continue working in the job she hates, to getting no respect from Kendall, having her cell phone destroyed by Koda, and making a fool of herself by fumbling the first group morph.
* DeadpanSnarker: Firmly establishes herself as this in the first episode, in a bit of a contrast to Tyler's more friendly style of banter.
* DudeWheresMyRespect:
** Her reaction when Kendall says she has no idea why Shelby was chosen by the pink Energem.
** She also invokes this with her displeasure of working at the cafe despite the fact that she and her friends are fighting evil aliens and protecting the city.
** In "Let Sleeping Zords Lie" she complains to the other Rangers that they don't listen to her ideas. It also has a subtle deconstruction as while she ''does'' have good ideas, she has no idea how to carry them out, and comes up with them after selfishly drinking everyone else's water.
* HiddenDepths: A defining point of her character is that people constantly underestimate her. Despite this she invents the E-Tracer, is quick on the fly with plans, and, if the drawings in ep7 are hers, is a pretty good artist to boot.
** Despite being athletic and disdainful of princesses, she does have a great love of some boy bands in universe.
*** And it turns out that with a little practice, she actually has a decent singing voice too.
** It turns out she comes from a successful business family, and in a way is a bit of an oddball of the family, being more interested in dinosaurs than ice cream.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: The "jerk" part is downplayed but present. In the first stretch of episodes; she thinks her waitressing job is beneath her, has made herself an absolute pain trying to get the paleontology job she thinks she deserves, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking stole her team's drinks on a hot day because she was thirsty]].
* KickChick: Most of her attacks are kicks, outside of weapon-based moves.
* LivingForeverIsAwesome: Upon learning her Energem makes her TheAgeless, she's pretty happy about the prospect of being 18 forever.
* LoveInterest: She's smitten with Tyler, but it's unknown whether he knows and/or reciprocates.
** Considering how concerned for her Tyler gets when she's on a solo mission or in danger, he probably does both at some level.
** RescueRomance: Is likely the case, given the first episode where Tyler backs her up against Iceage is when the two first met.
* MsFanservice: She's the bustiest Ranger we've seen in a while, and [[MaleGaze the camera seems to really enjoy showing off her cleavage.]]
* {{Otaku}}: Of dinosaurs, with triceratops being her absolute favorite.
* ShesGotLegs: She gives Kat a run for her money.
* ShipTease: With Tyler, twice in episode 8 alone. The first is where she happily hugs him after he shows up to finish the Dino Spike combination and destroy the monster, and then at the end of the episode, where she not only recovers his bracelet, but also puts it on him. Then when she makes a wish in "Wishing for a Hero", we find out that it was to go on a date alone with Tyler. Tyler starts returning her feelings in "The Silver Secret",and they have an AlmostKiss.
* SitcomArchnemesis: To Kendall. The first episode implies that Shelby's been pestering Kendall to go on a dino dig for some time now, and Kendall in turn aims most of her snark at Shelby.
* ThisIsADrill: Her primary weapon. Her zord turns into one when forming the Megazord.

!!Sir Ivan of Zandar[=/=]Dino Charge Gold

->'''Portrayed by''': Davi Santos
->'''Voiced by''': Alejandro Orozco (Latin American Spanish dub)

[[quoteright:346:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_ivan.png]]
[[caption-width-right:346:''It matters not what path I take, so long as it is the path I have chosen.'']]

Eight-hundred years ago, Ivan was a valiant young knight who dared to challenge Fury for the Gold Energem. Having finally escaped his imprisonment years later, Ivan joins the Power Rangers as the Gold Ranger. He brings legendary skill to the team as he wields a magnificent saber and morpher that doubles as a weapon.

'''Dinosaur Spirit''': Pterodactyl

'''Gear''': Gold Energem / Gold Ptera Morpher / Dino Com / Gold Ptera Saber

* AndIMustScream: [[spoiler: He was trapped in Fury's body for 800 years.]]
* AntiquatedLinguistics: To a degree - instead of "Monster extinct", he says "Monster vanquished" as his BondOneLiner.
** "'Tis Morphing Time!"
* AwesomeAnachronisticApparel: His belt buckle and BadassLongcoat, ironically both were obtained in the present day.
* BadassCape: His ranger outfit comes with little wings on the back, which look sort of like a half-cape.
* DisappearedDad: He is the dad in question. At some point before he met Fury, Ivan fathered a kid. Ivan is just as surprised as everyone else to find his own descendant running around defacing museum property.
** IdenticalGrandson: His genes are strong enough to stay completely undiluted after eight centuries.
* EternalEnglish: Despite being from somewhere in Europe, and 800 years ago, he doesn't have any real difficulties with modern-day English, and doesn't sound completely incomprehensible to viewers. Best not to question it.
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: After being absent for 800 years of human development, he is quite amazed by simple things like crossing guards and purses (or old ladies who wield them to beat up thieves). Not to mention dolphins, or the Earth not being flat, or games no longer involving greased pigs...
* LargeHam: Oh my yes. He solidified his ham status by riding in on a horse while wearing a suit of armor.
* PteroSoarer: Pilots the Ptera Zord.
* RealMenWearPink: Among Ivan's skills is a surprising knowledge of art (not exactly something most knights needs to now).
* ShipperOnDeck: In "Wishing For a Hero", he looks delighted when he mentions that Tyler and Shelby went on a picnic together, like a date.
* SixthRanger: While not the sixth Ranger active (that was the then-unseen Aqua Ranger), he still fills the role of the sixth ranger in every other way.
* SealedGoodInACan: His human self was imprisoned inside [[spoiler: Fury.]]
* ShockAndAwe: His abilities are centered around thunder, and so is his zord.

!!Prince Phillip III of Zandar[=/=]Dino Charge Graphite

[[quoteright:344:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_phillip.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:344:''Allow me to introduce myself. I am Prince Phillip III of Zandar. The '''real''' prince.'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Jarred Blakiston
->'''Voiced by''': Gerardo Alonso (Latin American Spanish dub)

Prince Phillip was saved by the Power Rangers, which turned him from an arrogant royal to a respectful and humble hero. After bonding with the Graphite Energem, Prince Phillip can always be counted on to fight alongside the Rangers when they are in dire need.

'''Dinosaur Spirit''': Pachycephalosaurus

'''Gear''': Graphite Energem / Dino Charge Morpher / Dino Com

* ActuallyIAmHim: When they first meet, James flippantly asks (after having met Koda and Sir Ivan) whether Phillip is the prince of Zandar.
* BackForTheFinale: After obtaining his Energem in "Rise of a Ranger", he isn't seen again until the finale "One More Energem", five episodes later.
* CharacterDevelopment: Becomes a nicer person after being saved by Koda, and by his second appearance he learns that you can't just throw money at problems to make them go away, they take effort. Showing this, he happily tells the Rangers he will help them whenever they need it in contrast to his contempt with them in their first meeting.
* CommutingOnABus: Though the rangers can use his chargers and zord, Phillip has obligations as the Prince of Zandar and cannot be a regular part of their team. As such, they only call on him in dire need.
* IJustWantToBeSpecial: Lead his country in the search for an Energem so he could join the Rangers in their mission. The only trouble is that it took a little time for him to figure out how to activate it.
* {{Jerkass}}: At first, but Koda helps bring out his JerkWithAHeartOfGold capabilities.
* JerkassHasAPoint: He is (perhaps rightfully) upset at the Rangers attempt at impersonating him and believes they are endangering or squandering the treasures of his homeland.
* NamedAfterSomebodyFamous: There is a real Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh and husband to one Queen Elizabeth.
* OddFriendship: With Koda, who advises him when he finds the Graphite Energem and hopes to bond with it.
* RoyalBrat: Initially, though he starts to get better by the end of his initial appearance.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: He may be a jerk initially, but his acceptance of his ranger responsibilities means he is actually doing something to defend his kingdom and the world.
* TookALevelInBadass: Even before gaining an Energem; he seems to have spent the time between "Break Out" and "Rise of a Ranger" learning to fight.
* UseYourHead: Befitting the dinosaur his morph is themed after, he headbutts Hookbeard in combat.

!! Albert Smith[=/=]Dino Charge Purple I

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_albert.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''You helped me find my courage. And you also made me realize [[spoiler:that I can't remain a Power Ranger.]]'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Arthur Ranford
->'''Voiced by''': Juan Alfonso Carralero (Latin American Spanish dub)

An eccentric older man who lives out in the woods in New Zealand running Big Foot tours. He tells great stories of the adventures he's had, but in truth he's a fraud. His only true story is about how he rescued a girl from a mountain, where he discovered the Purple Energem. After using it to keep his town safe, he ultimately hands it over to the rangers in the hope that they can find someone better suited to protecting the Earth.

* BroughtDownToNormal: By choice. He relinquishes the purple Energem when he decides to stay in New Zealand rather than join the rangers.
* CoolOldGuy: He's a great fighter and in pretty good shape for his age. His only flaw is his bravery, and he's able to get over that by the end of his story as well.
* CowardlyLion: He's perfectly brave chasing bike thieves and saving cats from trees, but when faced with actual monsters he panics and hides.
* EyepatchOfPower: It's a fake one, since he can see out of both eyes.
* HomeSweetHome: Why he ultimately decides to give up the Energem. New Zealand is his home, and he'd rather protect Auckland than the world.
* IntergenerationalFriendship: He gets along with Tyler the most.
* LovableCoward: His outgoing personality and antics make him rather likable despite his reluctance to fight monsters.
* ObfuscatingDisability: Complains about his bad back during a fight, but considering his physical abilities mentions above, it's pretty clear that he's faking to lure his enemies into a false sense of security.
* PurpleIsPowerful: Averted - he lacks most of the skill and courage that the other rangers have.
* RealityEnsues: His old age and being on the other side of the planet would have made it difficult for him to be a member of the team.
* ReluctantHero: When it comes to fighting aliens, which is why he chooses to give up his powers. He still plans to continue his more local heroics, however.

!!Kendall Morgan[=/=]Dino Charge Purple II

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_kendall.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''I rarely make mistakes, but when I do, I correct them.'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Claire Blackwelder
->'''Voiced by''': Jessica Ángeles (Latin American Spanish dub)

Kendall is a brilliant 26 year-old scientist, who provides the Rangers with the support and tough love they need to make it through their adventures. Using her science background, she develops new weapons for the Rangers and repairs their existing ones. When it's time to defend Earth, Kendall joins the team and does anything to protect her fellow rangers.

'''Dinosaur Spirit''': Plesiosaurus

'''Gear''': Purple Energem / Dino Charge Morpher / Dino Com / Dino Saber

* ActionGirl: As the Purple Ranger. While she doesn't get in on the action nearly as often as the other rangers, she can be pretty dang impressive when she does.
* {{Adorkable}}: She hides it behind her ControlFreak professional demeanor, but she can get this way when she gets really invested in a science project or when her [[NoSocialSkills inability to function socially]] starts showing up.
* AffirmativeActionLegacy: She becomes the second purple ranger after Albert Smith. She's also the first female purple ranger ''ever'', including [[Series/PowerRangersJungleFury RJ]].
* AscendedExtra: Appears much sooner than her ''Kyoryuger'' counterpart, who did not appear until well into the series' run.
* BadassNormal: Is able to hold her own against a swarm of Vivix armed with only [[RunningGag a shovel]].
* BerserkButton: She wants people to call her Ms. Morgan and gets annoyed when people call her "Kendall".
** [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]] in "The Ghostest With the Mostest", where [[spoiler:"Koda" calling her Ms. Morgan is what outs him as the fake Ranger, since the real Koda is the only person Kendall allows to get away with calling her by her first name]].
** Seemingly [[DefiedTrope defied]] once she becomes the Purple Ranger, putting her on a more level playing field with the rest of the team. However, in Dino Supercharge they still refer to her as "Ms. Morgan".
** [[spoiler: Finally averted after ''End of Extinction'', when the team returns to the present day and she gives them all permission to call her by her first name.]]
* CatchPhrase: "Good grief!"
* DeadpanSnarker: Definitely the most unfriendly of snarkers in the show so far, all of which is aimed at Shelby.
* DefrostingIceQueen: Starts the series as a distant and aloof individual, but she soon becomes a genuine friends of the Rangers and supports them wholeheartedly.
* EleventhHourRanger: [[spoiler: For the first season, as she doesn't get her powers until the second half of the finale. Once she does have them, though, she proves invaluable in taking down Sledge and Greenzilla]].
* GadgeteerGenius: She can take the energy of the Energems and refine it using only science technobabble.
* HotScientist: One of her would-be saviors in "Wishing For a Hero" tries to hit on her. Heckyl's nickname for her is "Pretty Lady".
* InsistentTerminology: It's ''Ms.'' Morgan, thank you very much.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She's first introduced making a lot of mean remarks to Shelby. However, after a few episodes it's clear that she's really pretty decent (if no-nonsense) towards most people; Shelby just annoys her.
* MissionControl: Fulfills this role on more occasion than even Keeper does. She's also responsible for helping to upgrade the arsenal of the rangers.
* OmnidisciplinaryScientist: It hasn't really been highlighted much, but she seems to be proficient in paleontology, a few forms of engineering, and computer science, at the very least.
* PetTheDog: While she spent a few episodes acting as ungrateful toward Shelby and treating her like she was nothing, during "Let Sleeping Zords Lie" she accepted Shelby's idea how to locate other Energems and allowed Shelby to help her.
* PurpleIsPowerful: Unlike Albert, she is able to take full advantage of the Purple Energem's powers, including taking control of the Plesio Charge Megazord.
* ShipperOnDeck: In "Wishing For a Hero", she learns that Tyler and Shelby are having a picnic together and assumes it's a date.
* ShorterMeansSmarter: ''At least'' half a foot shorter than the rest of the Rangers, but is undoubtedly one of the most intelligent members.
* SitcomArchNemesis: To Shelby. She's annoyed by Shelby's incessant requests to go on a dino dig, and so she regularly makes unnecessarily bitchy remarks towards Shelby even after she's a Power Ranger, such as saying to her face she had no idea why she was chosen. She was even all too happy to take off the verbal kid gloves with Shelby in "The Ghostest With the Mostest" under the pretense of her being a fake Ranger. [[spoiler:She had realized that Koda was the fake, and was just taking the opportunity to grill Shelby.]]
* TeamMom: The oldest human member of the Rangers, and the one who takes care of their equipment and monster locators.

!!James Navarro[=/=]Dino Charge Aqua

[[caption-width-right:350:''It's me. I'm [[spoiler:your dad]].'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Reuben Turner
->'''Voiced by''': Dan Musgrove, Creator/MarioCastaneda (Latin American Spanish dub)

James is Tyler’s long lost father. His curiosity about the Earth led him to become a geologist. During his last expedition 10 years ago, James disappeared. He had discovered and bonded with the Aqua Energem, but made the hard decision to stay away from his family, keeping both his family and the Energem safe from Fury’s clutches.

'''Dinosaur Spirit''': Ankylosaurus

'''Gear''': Aqua Energem / Dino Charge Morpher / Dino Com / Dino Saber

* ChekhovsGunman: Was seen since the first episode in a photograph and made a brief cameo near the end of the first season, but didn't make an actual debut until the fifth episode of season 2.
* ChekhovMIA: The Ankylozord waking up in "Let Sleeping Zords Lie" is taken as a sign that the Aqua Energem has been found, but the team has no idea who the Aqua Ranger is or where to find them. It isn't until the start of the second season that they resume the search and even then nothing comes of it until he reveals himself to the others.
* CommutingOnABus: Departs at the end of "Forged Under Fire" to put his archaeological skills to use in finding the Silver Energem. When it is revealed to have been found in space, he leaves again at the end of "Gone Fishin'" to look for the crash site of Sledge's ship; he rejoins them after finding it (only to be distracted with the battle against Badussa, long enough for it to escape back into space) and sticks around afterward for the last three episodes of the series.
* DisappearedDad: Vanished ten years ago. His son starts the series looking for him. It is later revealed that [[spoiler: he left Tyler because he was being pursued by Fury, and didn't want his son to be endangered by this]].
* DropTheHammer: Ankylo Zord's weapon.
* EarlyBirdCameo: He briefly appears unmorphed in "Wishing for a Hero" [[spoiler: because of Tyler's wish. But because he still thought his presence would be a danger to his son, he fled.]]
* ItsNotYouItsMyEnemies: [[spoiler: He left Tyler because he was being pursued by Fury, and didn't want to endanger him.]]
* LukeIAmYourFather: [[spoiler:Tyler learns that James is actually his father upon meeting him again]].
* NaiveNewcomer: When he finally joins the Rangers, he has a hard time believing that Koda is an actual caveman, that Ivan an 800 year old Knight of Zandar, and that Phillip is prince of Zandar.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Thanks to the Energem, he looks about 10 years younger than he should, but doesn't realize the Energem was the cause, or even that it ''happened'' until the Rangers filled him in.
* OohMeAccentsSlipping: Reuben Turner has a thick New Zealand accent, meaning that in several scenes he had to be dubbed over by Dan Musgrove.

!!Zenowing/Dino Charge Silver

->'''Voiced by''': Alistair Browning, Moisés Palacios (Latin American Spanish dub)

Zenowing was once Keeper’s apprentice. Zenowing remained trapped within Doomwing for years, until the Rangers discovered him and created a Split Emitter to split them apart. Now free, he fights alongside the Rangers as the Silver Ranger.

'''Dinosaur Spirit''': Titanosaurus

'''Gear''': Silver Energem / Titano Charge Morpher / Dino Com / Titano Saber

* APupilOfMineUntilHeTurnedToEvil: Subverted. [[spoiler: Zenowing was once Keeper's student, but then Lord Arcanon captured him, and created a split personality to use the Silver Energem with. So while Zenowing remains devoted, his body now serves evil due to his evil half Doomwing.]]
* BadassInDistress: [[spoiler:He finally contacts the team to tell them he's under attack, and is in serious danger of losing his energem for good.]]
* BlingOfWar: Several components of his suit that would be silver (belt, sash, pauldron) are gold. Taken further in Dino Drive Mode, where his chest piece is also gold.
* ChekhovMIA: The rest of the energems are found during the course of ''Dino Charge'', leaving only the silver one still missing when ''Super Dino Charge'' starts. [[spoiler:Despite Prince Phillip and James's searching, they can't find the Silver Energem anywhere on Earth. As it turns out, it's because it and the Silver Ranger aren't even on Earth in the first place.]]
* DemotedToExtra: His Sentai counterpart served as TheMentor of the heroes. Here, he appears within the last fourth of the series, and is more of an auxiliary ranger who steps in when needed.
* GadgeteerGenius: He created the Zords all by himself.
* {{Jerkass}}: [[spoiler:Spending several million years stuck with his evil copy made Zenowing rude and callous, telling Riley he deserved to get hurt for trying to assist him. Eventually, however, he grows out of this as he realizes that sharing a body with Doomwing has poisoned his heart somewhat.]]
* SparedByTheAdaptation: [[spoiler:Unlike his Sentai counterpart, Zenowing is still alive at the end of the series and is even able to return to his previously destroyed world]].
* TimeAbyss: Like Keeper, Zenowing is at least sixty-five million years old.

!!Keeper

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_keeper.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''I mean you no harm. Gather the bravest among you. I need your help.'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Eve Gordon
->'''Voiced by''': Richard Simpson, José Luis Orozco (Latin American Spanish dub)

The caretaker of the Energems, who crashed on Earth millions of years ago and gave the Energems to ten dinosaurs for safekeeping.

* AccidentalMurder: Or in his case, "Accidental Genocide". His bomb that damages Sledge's ship releases the asteroids it was hauling and causes the extinction of the dinosaurs.
* BroughtToYouByTheLetterS: His belt buckle is an "x" shape.
* DubNameChange: His French and Spanish name is The Guardian. Same meaning though, he guards the Energems.
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: The keeper of the Energems, known as Keeper.
* FaceDeathWithDignity: Upon realizing there's no escape from the barrage of asteroids, he simply stands face to face with his impending doom without flinching. He survives though.
* GuileHero: With Fury on his tail, he tricked him into bringing his crystal bomb back to Sledge instead of the Energems.
* HeroicSpirit: He possesses a "warrior's spirit" that, when infused into the components of the Spino Zord, brought it to life.
* PlayingPossum: This is how he tricks Fury, by playing dead and leaving a canister near him that Fury assumed was carrying the Energems.
* SomebodySetUpUsTheBomb: In ''Powers from The Past'', Keeper swaps the Energems with his own crystal bomb. NiceJobBreakingItHero, indeed.
* StaffOfAuthority: He carriers a big spear-like staff with him. He also uses it to fight. In episode 20, it gets separated from him, and he suddenly becomes unable to fight.
* TheMentor: While Kendall handles technical issues the rangers have, Keeper's responsible for the more mystical issues they might face and gives advice to the rangers if they are troubled by something.
* TimeAbyss: He sounded old when we first see him, and that was ''sixty-five million'' years ago.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: His bombing of Sledge's ship leads to the extinction of the dinosaurs and causes the events of the series to happen in the first place. [[SarcasmMode Good work, there.]]

!!Matt Griffin

[[caption-width-right:275:''Playing three musketeers again?'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Alexander Walker
->'''Voiced by''': Eleazar Muñoz (Latin American Spanish dub)

The cool, confident cowboy, complete with old jeans, boots, and his hat. Matt is the older brother to Riley and is continually trying to understand and protect him.

* AloofBigBrother: Comes off as this because he doesn't really know how to relate to his younger brother.
* UsefulNotes/AmericanAccents: Has a Midwestern American Accent.

!!Moana

[[quoteright:212:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_moana.png]]
[[caption-width-right:212:''Police? Ugh, they think I'm'' crazy!]]

->'''Portrayed by''': Patricia Vichman

A quirky yet wise matakite, or Maori fortune teller, who gave Chase his Energem after he helped rescue her kitten Tabitha.

* CoolOldLady: The oldest (human) ally the rangers have.
* FortuneTeller: Specifically one from New Zealand.
* NiceHat: A bowler hat with feathers on it.
* SecretKeeper: Played with. She doesn't outright get to see the Rangers morphing or fighting monsters, but it's made clear she knows they have special powers, gave the team information on the amulet stolen from her shop, and she knows about the Energems, as seen when she gave Chase the black Energem after he saved her cat (since the Energems respond to selflessness) and she saw its energy course through Chase's body, and earlier in the episode, she mentions Chase having special strengths while she looks at his Energem.

!!Sledge

[[quoteright:309:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sledge.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:309:''I'm getting too old for this.'']]

->'''Voiced by''': Adam Gardiner, Gabriel Pingarrón (Latin American Spanish dub)

A ruthless bounty hunter who seeks to recover the Energems, destroy the earth, and probably marry his fiancée, Poisandra.

* ALighterShadeOfBlack: Retroactively is this compared with Heckyl. While Sledge might be a bit of a jerk with skewed priorities going after the Energems, that doesn't change the fact that he was responsible for capturing tens of galactic criminals, and seems to genuinely care about Poisandra. Compare that to Heckyl who fries monsters and destroyed galaxies in his spare time.
* TheAgeless: He is at ''least'' 65 million years old.
* BadBoss:
** He killed a mook just because it was blocking the view of Keeper's ship from Poisandra.
** His response to Fury's failure with the Gold Energem is to use a monster to take away his best soldier's courage (at least until the monster gets destroyed). [[IdiotBall Seems kinda counterproductive!]]
*** Interestingly [[spoiler: it seems that before the incident with the bomb, he was a much better boss to Fury. When he's killed in the altered timeline by the crystal bomb, Sledge seems ''legitimately'' devastated.]]
* BigBad: He's the guy in charge of the ship, brought everyone together, and is the driving force in trying to get the Energems. He seemingly perishes at the end of the first season, but returns for the last few episodes of the second, retaking the BigBad position from Arcanon.
* BigNo: Sledge says this when Keeper's bomb causes his ship to release the asteroids.
* BountyHunter: He captures other outlaws for money and keeps them in the prison inside his ship until it's time to collect the bounty. To find the Energems, he sends prisoners out as his MonsterOfTheWeek, offering them freedom if they manage to retrieve an Energem for him.
* CommitmentIssues: While there is no doubt that he treats Poisandra better than anybody else, he sometimes gets rather dodgy whenever Poisandra brings up the marriage issue, especially when it involves forgetting about the Energems.
* CoolSpaceship: He has a pretty impressive one that he has stationed above Earth's atmosphere and doubles as a multilevel prison.
* DarthVaderClone: He's got the big imposing armor and the spaceship, so it fits. His career as a BountyHunter makes him something of a cross between Vader and Boba Fett.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: Subverted. [[spoiler:He was originally thought to have perished in the crash of his ship, with Heckyl and then Lord Arcanon taking his place as BigBad. But then he returns for the final part of Dino Super Charge.]]
* DisneyDeath: [[spoiler: Despite him seeming to have perished when his ship crashed, it's later revealed in the season that he survived, and was simply hiding out until Lord Arcanon arrived. He even managed to find a trump card in Greenzilla's eggs.]]
** [[spoiler: Then in ''Super Ninja Steel'', it turns out he and his ship, and everyone on it, survived being sucked into the black hole created by the Dark Energem's destruction.]]
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes:
** He seems to genuinely be in love with Poisandra and does not seem to object (much) to the idea of marrying her. He does seem to find her demeanor rather overbearing at times, but he still treats her well and is quite courteous to her, such as when he disintegrates one of his own mooks just because he was blocking her view as she prepares to attack Keeper.
** When Shearfear splits the bond between Curio and Poisandra, his immediate response is to grab him and look ready to kill him.
* FeelingTheirAge: While Sledge is still a powerful opponent, he doesn't have the stamina that other monsters in the series have. This is due to him being several millennia old. [[spoiler:When the Rangers face his past self, he gives them a CurbStompBattle, even taking blows from T-Rex Super Charge Mode without so much as flinching.]]
* HijackedByGanon: [[spoiler:After thought to have been destroyed in the Dino Charge finale, he returns in the final fourth of Dino Super Charge and reclaims his role as the series' BigBad]].
* HurlItIntoTheSun: [[spoiler:His past self is sent into the sun, along with his entire ship, in ''End of Extinction''. Unfortunately, his older self from the original timeline isn't affected by this.]]
* ImAHumanitarian: Implied in "Breaking Black" when he tells Spellbinder he'll "pluck him for dinner" if he fails.
* TheManBehindTheMan: [[spoiler:Following his return, Sledge reveals that Heckyl and Snide had been acting on his orders the entire time, keeping the Rangers occupied while he planted the Greenzilla eggs across the planet.]]
* NoNonsenseNemesis: Sledge does not screw around and simply prefers the most direct path to victory.
* NonstandardCharacterDesign: His dull grey-and-green armor really stands out against the more brightly colored Kyoryuger villains.
* OhCrap:
** Has one of these moments when he realizes Keeper swapped Energems for his crystal bomb.
-->'''Sledge''': [[BigWhat What?!]] IT'S A BOMB!
** He has another one when he attempts to fire the laser cannon at the end of Dino Charge, only to find that Tyler took back the Red Energem used to power the cannon.
** At the final episode, Sledge is utterly shocked when [[spoiler:he discovers that the Energems have been swapped for Keeper's crystal bomb, this time by Tyler]].
* OrcusOnHisThrone: Aside from the 3rd episode, Sledge generally doesn't go down to deal with the rangers personally despite his ability to demorph a ranger with a few punches. That being said, he does occasionally chose which prisoner to send against the rangers so he's not totally uninvolved, and when he did fight the rangers he tired out quickly because of his age. [[spoiler: His younger self fights them in ''End of Extinction'', and even gets to grow into a giant.]]
* OriginalGeneration: Sledge is the first villain since Venjix from ''RPM'' (and even then, that was just a talking column and not a full on suit) to have an original design not brought in from the Sentai- that's a six year time gap.
* PutOnABus: Bordering on a literal take, [[spoiler:he was physically absent [[TheBusCameBack until the end of season 2]], while traveling across the world.]]
** [[spoiler: He's returned for Super Ninja Steel, to the surprise of many along with Wrench and his wife]].
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Do not make Sledge angry, or these will be the last thing you see.
* RevengeBeforeReason: Despite all the urging from Poisandra to cut his losses and forget the Energems, he still insists on going after the Rangers. He even notes in "Breaking Black" that every monster the Rangers destroy is a bounty he can't cash in, but he still sends them. (While profit is his main stated motive, taking vengeance on Keeper for that incident millennia back seems to be a major factor as well.) However, with the reanimator that was made, this becomes pretty moot, as he could just revive the monsters and cash them in again.
* TheStarscream: [[spoiler:Becomes this to his employer, Lord Arcanon, once he returns]].
* ThisIsUnforgivable: In the first episode when he realizes that what he believes to be the Energems presented to him by Fury turns out to be a bomb, which blasts his ship far away from Earth, he shouts in anger through a hole made in his ship that he will make Keeper pay for tricking him if it's the last thing he does. He says the same line again in the final episode of ''Dino Super Charge'' when [[spoiler:the rangers send him and his ship towards the sun to their doom.]]
* UnholyMatrimony: Preparing for this with Poisandra. Though apparently, it's been ''65 million years'' in the making, and they ''still'' haven't tied the knot yet.
* VillainsOutShopping: [[spoiler:While he plants Greenzilla's eggs all around the world, Sledge manages to get a good vacation out of it too.]]
* VillainTeamUp: [[spoiler:It's revealed he formed an alliance with Snide after his ship crashed.]]
* YouFool: After his desire to get a second Energem results in their ship falling out of the sky, Poisandra calls him a "half-brain".
-->'''Sledge''': [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments After 65 million years, you're just figuring that out?!]]

[[caption-width-right:318:[[labelnote:Heckyl's Other Half Spoilers]]https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/snide.jpg[[/labelnote]]]]

->'''Portrayed by''': Ryan Carter, Campbell Cooley (Snide voice)
->'''Voiced by''': Carlo Vázquez (Heckyl, Latin American Spanish dub), Creator/ReneGarcia (Snide, Latin American Spanish dub)

Heckyl is a charismatic and clever high-level prisoner in Solitary Confinement. Sledge wanted to use him to get the Energems from the rangers, as he looks human which the rangers won't expect. When Heckyl was unable to retrieve an Energem to Sledge, Heckyl was forced back to his cell, but not before vowing revenge against Sledge.

When Sledge's ship crashes, Heckyl [[spoiler: emerges from his cell, but he looks a little different... It's Heckyl's monster form, Snide!]]

* AscendedExtra: Snide's counterpart was a Movie-exclusive monster in Kyoryuger, while he is a major villain in Dino Charge.
* ActuallyIAmHim: [[spoiler:When his cover is blown and the rangers realize he's a bad guy, they ask if he works for Snide.]]
-->[[spoiler:'''Heckyl''': No, I don't ''work'' for Snide ''(Transforms)'' I ''am'' Snide!]]
* TheAtoner: [[spoiler:After separating from Snide, all he wants to do is to rebuild his home world. After ending up 65 million years in the past, he is given to the chance to prevent the destruction from ever happening.]]
* AwesomeAnachronisticApparel: Has this down in spades. Orange and blue cravat? Check. Waistcoat with a chain? Check. Pinstriped trousers? Check. This trope also leads to...
* BadassInANiceSuit: Heckyl is finely dressed for a monster.
* BadBoss: Heckyl portrays himself as a benevolent leader but as soon as one of the monsters asks to leave, he shoots them in back to scare the others into following him.
* BeamOWar: How Heckyl takes on Sledge and Lord Arcanon, they both end with him overpowered. Interestingly, they both had the advantage of an Energem on their side against Heckyl.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: He may look harmless given his playful attitude with generous use of LargeHam, but is actually power hungry PsychoElectro. His first scene gets the point [[EstablishingCharacterMoment across very well]].
* BigDamnHeroes: He arrives just in time to save [[spoiler:Keeper and Ms. Morgan]] from [[spoiler: Snide]].
* BoundAndGagged: He is captured and shackled after losing to the bigger evil in the form of [[spoiler: Lord Arcanon]] in ''Recipe for Disaster''.
* CampStraight: While colorful and flamboyant, he playfully flirts with Kendall, who he keeps calling "Pretty Lady".
* CharacterDeath: [[spoiler: Snide gets taken out by the combined power of the Dino Charge Ultrazord's Titano Cannon, six Dino Morpher Blasts and an energy blast from Heckyl in ''Edge of Extinction''.]]
* TheChessmaster: Particularly in "Forgive and Forget".
* CombatTentacles: [[spoiler:Snide can unleash a tentacle from the center of his chest]].
* CompositeCharacter: His character has no direct counterpart in the ''Kyoryuger'' series, his monster form is from the ''Kyoryuger vs Go-Busters'' movie, where it was based on the counterpart of Zeltrax/Smitty from ''Dino Thunder'', and his human form is basically Enter from ''Go-Busters'' minus the GratuitousFrench.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: To Sledge. Sledge is a bounty hunter who has his more affable moments while offering the prisoners freedom if they retrieve an Energem. Heckyl was one of his many prisoners who only pretends to be silly and lets the prisoners out while offering to rule side-by-side if they bring him an Energem.
* CoolSword: [[spoiler:As Snide, it's his primary weapon]].
* DemotedToDragon: [[spoiler:After being the BigBad for the first half of Dino Supercharge Snide is ousted by this position from Lord Arcanon and swears to serve Arcanon if he allows him to separate from Heckyl. Although he soon betrays him and become CoDragons with Fury.]]
* DiscOneFinalBoss: [[spoiler:After spending the first half of Dino Super Charge as the BigBad, he is ousted from the position by Lord Arcanon. When Sledge returns, Snide gets promoted back to CoDragons with Fury]].
* DragonAscendant: [[spoiler:As he put it, following Sledge's defeat and his ship crashing:]]
-->[[spoiler:'''Snide''': It's ''my'' turn now!]]
* TheDreaded: When Sledge decides to use Heckyl against the Rangers, everyone in the room steps back in horror and even Fury is desperate not to let him out.
-->'''Sledge:''' What are you afraid of? He's not ''that'' dangerous.\\
'''Wrench:''' But, but I know of several destroyed galaxies that might beg to differ!
* EleventhHourSuperpower: [[spoiler:Snide shows off a Greenzilla Tentacle in ''Freaky Frightday''.]]
* EnemyWithout: [[spoiler: The two are split apart after the events of ''Freaky Fightday''.]]
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: He steps out of his cell, makes a playful quip about the design of Sledge's ship... And then fries his guards until they're nothing but dust.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Heckyl is furious when Snide decides to ally with Lord Arcanon, since he [[spoiler: destroyed their home world]].
* EvilIsPetty: He is not above stealing an ice-cream from a child and dumping it on a chair right as a person is sitting down.
* FaceHeelTurn: [[spoiler:Heckyl is shown to have originally been a good guy until his home world was assaulted by Lord Arcanon and he touched the Dark Energem, corrupting him and creating Snide. Heckyl goes back to being a good guy, even if he himself doesn't quite believe it at first, when they're split.]]
* FauxAffablyEvil: One minute he's complimenting you and being a wonderful house guest, the next he's frying you with electricity.
* FingerlessGloves: Wears a pair of black ones.
* GlassCannon: Heckyl's powers are capable of vaporizing monsters instantly and are almost on par with a weapon or person empowered by an Energem, but he's no stronger than an average person and can be physically restrained without much trouble.
* GodzillaThreshold: He's a danger to everyone on board the ship, including ''Sledge himself'', but Sledge needs him to help obtain the Energem.
* TheGogglesDoNothing: Heckyl has a pair of goggles with his outfit, just for show it seems. [[spoiler: He does use them while piloting a giant monster later. Also, he keeps them on while facing Badussa, to protect him from being petrified.]]
* GoodFeelsGood: He claims there is no good in him anymore, but he helps a little girl find her mother and also arrives right on time to save [[spoiler: Keeper and Ms. Morgan]] from [[spoiler: Snide]].
* HumanAliens: At least he ''looks'' human. He used this to his advantage with the Rangers, until he gets exposed.
* JekyllAndHyde: Based off of this, but not exactly played straight: both Heckyl and Snide are villainous, but they are very different. [[spoiler:Eventually played straight after the two of them are split.]]
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: Suffers from this when Curio serves Stingrage's amnesia venom as punch, thus making him forget the location of the Rangers' base.
** [[spoiler: It turns out that he in general has amnesia, as he can't remember anything before he came into contact with the Dark Energem.]]
* LeanAndMean: He's shown to be taller than the rest of the aliens and is just as, if not more, evil than them. [[spoiler: Once he and Snide are separated, he is less antagonistic towards the Rangers until becoming their ally in the finale.]]
* LockedIntoStrangeness: The blue in his hair occurred after [[spoiler:coming into contact with the Dark Energem]] and it stays after he and Snide [[spoiler:are separated]].
* MeaningfulName: The charming, playful humanoid Heckyl and his [[spoiler:no-nonsense armored form Snide]] is a reference to Jekyll and Hyde.
* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: [[spoiler:Snide sides with Lord Arcanon after he and Heckyl split, but betrays him after his new boss calls him "useless". He sides with Sledge, but turns on him too after hearing that Sledge plans to abandon him on Earth, which he is planning to destroy.]]
* NoKillLikeOverkill: [[spoiler:Snide dies in a truly spectacular way by being hit with the combination of six Rangers, the Ultrazord's FinishingMove, and Heckyl all ganging up at once to blow him to kingdom come. Although it is justified in that they were also trying to destroy the Dark Energem at the same time (which failed).]]
* OmnicidalManiac: He's responsible for destroying several inhabited galaxies. While Sledge states they've all destroyed galaxies, Wrench implies Heckyl destroyed more.
* OnlySaneMan: Started slipping into this role around Fury and Singe when they kept trying to one up each other.
* PsychoElectro: Heckyl can shoot out telekinetic lightning from his hands, both to decimate foes and open locked doors.
* PragmaticVillainy: While Heckyl is not above destroying his own minions to make a point he also knows that fighting amongst themselves [[DividedWeFall is exactly what the Rangers want]] and that if the bad guys wish to succeed they have to work together.
* PromotionToOpeningTitles: Ryan Carter gets credited in the opening credits for ''Dino Supercharge''. Making the first villain in a Power Rangers series to be listed in the credits since Rick Medina in ''Power Rangers Super Samurai'', three years prior.
* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: He looks to be in his twenties but since he was imprisoned on Sledge's ship since he first followed Keeper to Earth, he is at least 65 million years old.
* RedemptionPromotion: [[spoiler:After helping the Rangers defeat Sledge and his crew in the past, Keeper makes Heckyl the guardian of the Dark Energem and tasks him with keeping it out of evil hands along with preventing the destruction of his home planet.]]
* RedOniBlueOni: [[spoiler:He's both to himself. As Heckyl, he's calm, clever and clearly prefers strategy. As Snide, he's impatient and quick to enter a fight.]] He's also blue to Fury and Singe, all of them are appropriately color coded too.
* ShockAndAwe: Heckyl demonstrates his ability by ''effortlessly'' frying two Spikeballs.
* SplitPersonality: Literal example. [[spoiler:The calm, manipulative and scheming Heckyl and the brutish, violence favoring Snide. While both are evil they couldn't be more different.]]
* SuperPoweredEvilSide: A villainous example [[spoiler:as Snide is the personification of Heckyl's darkness made into a sentient being after touching the Dark Energem. In the beginning they are both equally evil, but after their separation this is played straight]].
* TattooedCrook: There's a tattoo resembling [[spoiler:Snide's helmet]] behind his right ear. [[spoiler:It glows when he changes form]].
* ThisIsUnforgivable: After being blasted back into his cell by Sledge, Heckyl mumbles the words "You will pay." Later on, he promises to get revenge on Arcanon for the destruction of his planet and making him what he is now.
* VillainousCrush: He seems to have a minor one on Kendall, calling her "pretty lady", but it's unclear if his feelings are genuine or he's pretending so he can get close to her and the rest of the team.
* VillainousRescue: Saves Kendall from being hit by a car in an attempt to get the Purple Energem and since Kendall has no idea who he is, she thinks he's a HeroicBystander.
* VillainTeamUp: [[spoiler:Snide teams up with Sledge in Supercharge]].
* WalkingSpoiler: Knowing anything about his role in Supercharge spoils the Dino Charge finale reveal that [[spoiler:Heckyl is just one half of a person, with the other half being a monster called Snide.]]
* WhamShot:
** The final scene of "One More Energem" is [[spoiler:his solitary confinement cell opening up, showing his eyes in his monstrous form as he declares it's now his turn to take on the rangers]].
** "Wings of Danger" shows him [[spoiler:trying to keep the Dark Energem out of Arcanon's evil hands]].
* WoundedGazelleGambit: He throws himself in front of Riley and is shot with Stingrage's upgraded stingers in ''Forgive And Forget''. The idea was that the Rangers would take him into their base to treat him. He totally nails the role of HeroicBystander once again.
* XanatosSpeedChess: In "Forgive and Forget", Heckyl is able to take Snide's plan and adapt it on the fly to put himself in a position to take the Energems in the base. When he tries to take the Energems from the amnesiac rangers, Riley says that putting the Energems in the base is a great idea, and Heckyl heads to the base to grab them. While he was unsuccessful at getting the Energems, he did learn their base's location; at least until Curio made him forget. And of course he still knows the rangers civilian identities and they know he knows, so he still came out on top.

!!Fury

[[caption-width-right:327:''With those pathetic fighting skills, you're as weak as your father was!'']]

->'''Voiced by''': Paul Harrop, Creator/CarlosSegundo (Latin American Spanish dub)

Sledge's serious and loyal second-in-command.

* AllThereInTheManual: The official Power Rangers site mentions Sledge won Fury in a card game. Never is this mentioned in the show.
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Whereas his counterpart is just an angry guy with a [[HiddenHeartOfGold hidden heart]], he's an angry guy who wants to get respect, no matter if it involves [[spoiler: sabotaging his own teammates' efforts.]]
* BizarreTasteInFood: In episode 6, Poisandra tricks him into trying a piece of cake that causes a terrible toothache. After eating it, Fury says it needs more ''vinegar''.
* {{Bookends}}: In the first episode of ''Dino Charge''. [[spoiler:he escaped the explosion of Keeper's crystal bomb]], in the final episode of ''Dino Super Charge'', [[spoiler:he ends up being destroyed by it when Tyler plays SomebodySetUpUsTheBomb]].
* ButtMonkey: Both Sledge and Poisandra constantly belittle and mock him.
* CharacterDeath: [[spoiler: In the finale, his past self is at ground zero when Keeper's bomb goes off, and is destroyed by it.]]
* CoolSword: Has one modeled after the Japanese seven-edged sword ''Shichishito'', imbued with lightning.
* TheDragon: He's not exactly Sledge's second in command, but he's still the strongest fighter in his crew and is the one trusted to go after the Energies.
** Curiously enough, he is closer to being Heckyl's second in command than he ever was for Sledge, with the flamboyant villain actually treating him with some degree of respect.
* FriendVersusLover: Sledge and Fury are in no way ''friends'', but Fury and Poisandra hate each other and fight to get Sledge's attention.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: His constant chasing after the gold Energem directly led to [[spoiler: Sir Ivan freeing himself from his clutches, as it was the gem that gave him the strength to break free]].
* KickTheDog: He would have killed Riley's dog Rubik had Riley not jumped in.
* MeaningfulName: He seems to be in a constant bad mood and is a fierce warrior, both things that befit his name.
* NeverLiveItDown: An InUniverse example. He never forgets how he was unable to obtain a single Energem even after being on Earth for 65 million years.
* NotSoAboveItAll: In the 2nd Halloween special, it's shown he actually a good pumpkin carver.
* PantheraAwesome: Has a feline motif to him.
* TheRival: Appears to be heading this way with Tyler. The fact that he might know what happened to the latter's father hints at this.
** Riley also seems to have a bit of a one-sided one with him, due to the events of their first meeting.
** He also becomes this towards Singe, gaining an immediate dislike for the new villain and having no qualms in attacking him or sabotaging his plans.
* SitcomArchNemesis: To Poisandra. They definitely hate each other and Fury has shown to be the only one unwilling to put up with Poisandra's attitude, but he's forced to rein himself in and not retaliate against her for fear of Sledge's reaction.
** Also with Singe. When they're not bickering about the way to go about with a plan, Fury always catches Singe lounging in his cell, much to his irritation.
* TeethClenchedTeamwork: With Singe, so much he nearly jeopardizes his plan of severing the bond between the Rangers and the Energems in an attempt to one-up him.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Sledge. Even though the guy threatened to have him destroyed for failure, when he gets what he thinks are the Energems, instead of trying to, say, overthrow Sledge, he proclaims how Sledge would be the most powerful of all.
* TheUnfavourite: He's this when compared to Poisandra. Despite being Sledge's most reliable henchman, Sledge treats him like dirt, whereas Poisandra doesn't really do much but gets preferential treatment and is the only one Sledge treats nicely. He finally blows up in episode 8 where he [[spoiler:sabotages and steals his teammates' efforts to make himself Sledge's favourite.]]
* TheUnfought: Played with. While he fights Keeper in episode 1 and Riley in episode 2, he's the only villain who sees no action for several episodes in a row after his fight with Riley in episode 2, as Sledge has him looking for the remaining five Energems while the rest of the villains are trying to take out the Rangers. It's not until episode 8 that he gets to fight once more, this time fighting Tyler.
* [[WhatDoesSheSeeInHim What Does He See In Her?]]: Questions why Sledge listens to Poisandra, or as he called her, "heart-shaped nitwit".
* WouldHurtAChild: Tells his robot to target Chase's little sister in "Rise of a Ranger", either as a way to distract Chase or just to be evil.

!!Poisandra

[[quoteright:288:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/poisondra_2.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:288:''Sledge-ums!'']]

->'''Voiced by''': Jackie Clarke, Creator/LilianaBarba (Latin American Spanish dub)

Sledge's happy-cranky henchwoman and fiancée.

* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Whereas her counterpart is a happy nice girl with a heart, she is a complete ''bitch''.
* AerithAndBob: Among the villains of the season, whose names include "Sledge", "Fury" and "Snide", she's the only member of Sledge's crew whose name is not an actual word.
* AliensStealCable: She's been known to watch gossip shows, even getting the Vivix to join her. In fact, the Ranger's plan to lure Fury out into the open so they can regain the Ptera Zord hinges on this fact.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: She has a lot of bright colors and hearts and acts rather like a spoiled princess. That being said, she is the one who shoots down Keeper's ship in the first episode, and Sledge tells Fury that she is tougher than she looks.
** Then averted in episode 7, where we see her fight for the first time. She only manages to get in one weak hit on Chase before he easily sidesteps her attacks, which makes her fall flat on her face.
* DeathByAdaptation: Whereas her Kyoryuger counterpart survived (and pulled a HeelFaceTurn), she and the rest of Sledge's crew are sent into the sun during the Ranger's trip to sixty-five million years ago, their actions resulting in the creation of a new timeline. [[spoiler:Subverted by the version from the original timeline; she was on Sledge's ship when it was sucked into the black hole created by the Dark Energem's destruction, but the ship and everyone on it is eventually shown to have survived when it emerges into a new universe where the events of ''Power Rangers Ninja Steel'' are taking place.]]
* DemotedToExtra: Spends most of her time on the ship, whining about things. Especially after Sledge [[spoiler:supposedly]] dies. Then the last half of Dino Super Charge rolls around, and she starts getting more involved.
* DungeonmastersGirlfriend: Poisandra gets preferential treatment from Sledge without even doing much of anything, which ticks off Fury (who busts his butt for Sledge's sake) to no end.
* EntitledBitch: She takes advantage of being Sledge's fiancée to act like a complete jerk to others, especially Fury, and receiving no comeuppance for her behaviour and failures.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: As mentioned above, she is smitten with Sledge, and her wish is to become his wife.
* FriendVersusLover: Has this rivalry going with Fury.
* NonIndicativeName: Both played straight and averted. Played straight in regards to her appearance, as she has a heart motif with bright colours to her, but averted in that the "poison" part of her name comes from her nasty personality.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: She's usually the first person to run from a fight if it looks like the rangers are going to win. She also does this to Sledge in the first season finale after getting fed up with him ignoring her in favour of the Energems. [[spoiler: Though she doesn't get out in time to escape the crashing ship]].
* SitcomArchNemesis: She's this to Fury, who can't stand her. This stems from the fact that Sledge holds Poisandra in higher esteem, which means she can get away with sassing Fury, who is the one actively going against the Rangers and seeking the Energems, whereas she doesn't do any of the work herself. When she starts taking an active role in going against the Rangers, she and Fury become this even more in their efforts to impress and please Sledge.
* TheSmurfettePrinciple: The only female among Sledge's crew.
* UnholyMatrimony: Preparing for this with Sledge. Still, it hasn't yet happened in over ''65 million years''... [[spoiler: until ''Edge of Extinction'', that is.]]

!!Wrench

[[caption-width-right:246:''Ow, that stings!'']]

->'''Voiced by''': Estevez Gillespie, Eduardo Tejedo (Latin American Spanish dub)

Sledge's overly cautious and bumbling henchman and the mechanic of his ship.

* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Whereas his counterpart is known to be gloomy and sad, he's known to be resourceful and goofy instead.
* AnAxeToGrind: Just like his Sentai counterpart, he wields one.
* BackFromTheDead: He builds a machine that revives monsters that the Rangers defeated, thus giving them a second chance to destroy them and Sledge a chance to cash in their bounty. Unfortunately for Sledge, there's nothing left of his body for Wrench to revive him with. [[spoiler: At least, that's what he thinks, until Sledge turns out to not be dead after all]].
* BadassBookworm: He's the crew's mechanic and a surprisingly competent fighter.
* TheBeCarefulSpeech: The "I'm trying! There's 10 billion gigabolts going through this. It could blow up the whole ship. I have to be careful." is why Sledge called him a "pathetic weakling."
* BewareTheSillyOnes: He may be very meek and doesn't look threatening, but episode 3 shows he's a very strong fighter.
** CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Episode 14 shows him being able to beat back Tyler of all people. He doesn't win the day, but damn!
* ButtMonkey: He has a meek personality, which gets him absolutely no respect from Sledge or Fury.
* TheEvilGenius: He's the guy who is most technically proficient compared with his shipmates. Also counts as BadassBookworm given his fighting ability.
* MeaningfulName: He's the mechanic of Sledge's ship, after all. Could also be a play on the term "heartwrenching", which means sadness.
* OcularGushers: Even the slightest abrasion will cause him to literally do this, as seen in Episode 3.

!!Curio

[[quoteright:277:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/curio_2.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:277:''I wish I'd stayed with Poisandra!'']]

->'''Voiced by''': Estevez Gillespie, Gerardo Alonso (Latin American Spanish dub)

A playful and fun creature created by Wrench from a variety of spare monster parts as a gift from Sledge to Poisandra so she can have a friend to have fun with.
%% Luckyuro's gender was never confirmed one way or the other, so stop adding tropes relating to it possibly being switched for Curio.

* BodyHorror: He's ''made out of spare monster parts.'' Wrench stated specifically his head is made out of a seat cushion.
* MeaningfulName: "Curio" is a noun that means "a small and unusual object that is considered interesting or attractive." Well, a creature made out of bits and pieces from other monsters would certainly be unusual and interesting...
* MixAndMatchMan: There's even hint of this as one can see stitching on Curio's face.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Because he mistook Stingrage's amnesia venom for punch, Heckyl forgot the location of the rangers' base.
* RetGone: Due to several changes in [[spoiler: the rangers defeating Sledge before the series even began]], Curio as a result [[spoiler: was never created, and thus never existed in the new timeline created afterwards]].
* SweetTooth:
** He loves cakes to the point that he will eat them right out of the garbage, as seen in episode 6.
** The Halloween episode has him bring back a transport pod filled with candy after going trick or treating.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Out of all the people on Sledge's ship, Curio seems the least malicious out of all of them. He's more interested in having fun than fighting the Rangers.
* VillainousFriendship: With Poisandra. It's a big part of why he was ''made''.

!!Singe

[[caption-width-right:282:''So these are the so-called heroes. Heroes give me such a headache.'']]

->'''Voiced by''': Mark Mitchinson, Creator/SalvadorDelgado (Latin American Spanish dub)

A fiery and easily annoyed alien who appeared on Earth one day wanting to make a deal with Snide concerning the Energems.

* AttackAttackAttack: Displays a fighting style like this early on, just firing randomly at Chase and Tyler without caring if he was hitting them, civilians, Fury, or the city.
* ButtMonkey: Becomes this in ''Freaky Frightday''.
* CoolGun: An odd candlestick-shaped pistol he calls "the Last Blaster".
* DeadpanSnarker: About 90% of his dialogue is just outright sass and passive-aggressive comments.
* DragonWithAnAgenda: Seems to have his own reasons for wanting to help Heckyl/Snide. [[spoiler:Plus he answers to someone else entirely.]]
* DroppedABridgeOnHim: [[spoiler:Despite how dangerous he was, he didn't received a climatic final battle, being unceremoniously destroyed alongside Arcanon by Sledge's crew within a few seconds. Justified somewhat as his Sentai counterpart was destroyed in an EnemyMine situation that wouldn't work here]].
* KnightOfCerebus: He's currently the series' most powerful monster, his plans are cunning and pragmatic and he has a sadistic personality.
* MeaningfulName: The alien named Singe is fittingly fire and candle-themed.
* NoSell: When fighting against Chase's Dino Armor X and later the Plesio Charge Megazord.
* SixthRanger: He joins Heckyl and Snide early in ''Dino Supercharge'', but turns out to be a SixthRangerTraitor who's really working for Lord Arcanon.
* TheRival: Has become one to Fury due to gaining Snide's favor after his first day working with them.
* TeethClenchedTeamwork: With Fury. It gets to the point that Heckyl has to lock them in the same cell so they'll learn to cooperate (or something to that effect).
* TrashTalk: Does this a ton to the rangers, and Fury, even while getting beat on.
* WhatIsThisThingYouCallLove: Makes a comment similar to this at one point, showing he has little to no understanding of love and doesn't care to understand it either.

!!Lord Arcanon

[[caption-width-right:281:''You don't know what I'm capable of...'']]

->'''Voiced by''': Andy Grainger, Rubén Moya (Latin American Spanish dub)

* BadBoss: Actually manages to be worse than Sledge and Heckyl/[[spoiler:Snide]] in this regard. He's quick to dismiss his minions when he believes they're no longer of use to him, and even threatens to destroy them for it. [[spoiler:This backfires on him after he calls Snide "useless" for not preventing Heckyl's escape, with Snide retaliating by siding with Sledge against him.]]
* DemotedToExtra: [[spoiler: His Sentai counterpart acted as BigBad for most of his respective season, appearing in the very first episode all the way to the last episode. However, Arcanon acts more as a mere ArcVillain, appearing near the end of the series and only appears for a few episodes.]]
* DiscOneFinalBoss: [[spoiler:Defeated by the Rangers and then destroyed by Sledge once he returns.]]
* TheDreaded: [[spoiler:He is said to be the only monster that Sledge truly feared and is strong enough to leave the already dreaded Heckyl defenseless, only able to helplessly beg to not be destroyed before being taken prisoner.]]
* EvilSoundsDeep: [[spoiler:He's without a doubt evil and has a deep and booming voice that outmatches even that of Sledge's.]]
* EvilerThanThou:
** [[spoiler:Solidifies his position as BigBad when he defeats Snide and Heckyl and locks them up.]]
** [[spoiler:Ironically he ends up on the receiving end of this trope himself when Sledge returns, together with the rest of his crew and Snide, who uses the Dark Energem to destroy Arcanon.]]
* EvilVsEvil: [[spoiler:Fights Snide in a Megazord duel for control of the outlaws.]]
* GreaterScopeVillain: [[spoiler:He is the main antagonist effectively for the entire series, as he is the one who tasked Sledge with gathering outlaws and retrieving the Energems, as well as indirectly responsible for Heckyl turning evil in the first place. He manages to lock Heckyl back in his cell later taking this spot or at least sharing it with Sledge.]]
* TheManBehindTheMan: [[spoiler:He's the one who entrusted Sledge to gather an army of outlaws and the one who sent Singe to Earth.]]
* MoralMyopia: [[spoiler: He's outraged when Snide betrays him, despite cruelly dismissing him as "useless" earlier on.]]
* OhCrap: [[spoiler:After he is defeated by the rangers and Sledge returns Arcanon in notably panicked and tries to tell him he would happily pay him. Too bad for him that Sledge decides to accept the Dark Energem as payment and uses it to destroy Arcanon for good.]]
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Despite only appearing in 5 episodes, his presence presents big changes in the status quo, as well as expanding the lore of the series substantially.
* VillainsWantMercy: [[spoiler:After Arcanon is hit knocked back by the rangers and Sledge arrives to steal the Dark Energem Arcanon sounds notably panicked, referring to Sledge as old friend, and telling him he would gladly pay up Sledge's bounty. Considering the fact he was probably weakened by the Rangers and Sledge had his hands on the most powerful artefact in the universe it's not too surprising.]]
* WalkingSpoiler: Pretty much everything about his role makes him this.

* EnemyWithout: He and Zenowing were once a single being, similar to Heckyl and Snide, until the rangers managed to separate the two.
* EvilCounterpart: Arcanon used the Dark Energem to create him so that he may harness Zenowing's power to become the Silver Ranger.
* EvilTwin: Once again, Zenowing's.
* TheHyena: Has a habit of cackling madly.

[[quoteright:263:[[labelnote:Click here for Spikeballs]] https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_spikeballs_6.jpg[[/labelnote]]]]

Sledge's henchmen. The Vivix perform gruntwork on the ship and act as foot soldiers against the rangers. They are able to combine into the gigantic Vivizord to fight the rangers' mecha. The Spikeballs are elite soldiers, guarding the prison cells and often joining Fury when there are no prisoners to set against the rangers.

* AdorableEvilMinions: Oddly enough, between their squeaks and non-threatening appearance, the Vivix are these.
* AMechByAnyOtherName: Played with, as for the first time the word "zord" is used for something that is absolutely ''not'' a mecha: the giant monsters made from Vivix merging together are called "Vivizords". In the past, "zords" was reserved for giant ''robots'' (or at least biomechanical or mystical things that were very good at ''looking'' like robots). The Vivizords are far more biological than any other zord, giving them little resemblance other than [[AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever size]]. The term was also usually (though not always) specifically for the ''Rangers''' mecha, with enemy mecha just as often simply called "giant robots".
* CarryABigStick: Spikeballs wield large clubs.
* EliteMooks: The Spikeballs, who are bigger and tougher than the Vivix.
* FacelessGoons: Instead of faces the Vivix have masks with a spiral pattern.
* FusionDance: Many Vivix can combine into a megazord-sized Vivizord.
* InSeriesNickName: Seaweed-head for the Vivix.
* {{Kaiju}}: The Vivizords are much more reptilian than the Vivix, making them resemble a classic kaiju.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: When Sledge needs to, he has one of the Vivix push a big red button to fire the Magna Beam, which grows the monster.
* MixAndMatchWeapon: The Vivix wield blasters with blades on the side, allowing them to use them like axes as well.
* {{Mooks}}: The Vivix, Sledge's common foot soldiers.
* NonIndicativeName: Spikeballs are not particularly spikey or spherical, having more of a prehistoric sea life motif.
* ScrewThisImOuttahere: One of them escapes by stealing a transport pod when Sledge's ship begins to fall.
* SweetTooth: Some Viviks are fond of gorging themselves on cake.
* TooManyMouths: The arms of the Vivizords end in muzzles similar to their main mouth.
* TheUnintelligible: Like most Power Rangers foot soldiers, Vivix aren't able to speak, instead producing high-pitched gibberish. Spikeballs, however, are speech-capable.

[[caption-width-right:287:''Why do you have to treat me so cold, Rangers?'']]

The first of Sledge's prisoners that the rangers faced and defeated, Iceage has been resurrected a few times since to continue antagonizing them.

* AnIcePerson: He can freeze anyone and anything, and is themed after the titular time period after the dinosaur's destruction.
* BackForTheDead: He is defeated after being resurrected.
* BackFromTheDead: He was resurrected in "World Famous! (in New Zealand)", and again in "When Evil Stirs".
* PantheraAwesome: Has some similarities to a ''Smilodon'', namely his skull.
* RelatedInTheAdaptation: Inverted. In the sentai version, he, Stingrage, and Meteor's counterparts were part of a group called "the Extinctioners". They aren't part of a group together in ''Dino Charge''.
* SkullForAHead: His face has some resemblance to an animal's skull, specifically that of of a ''Smilodon''.
* StarterVillain: The first of Sledge's prisoners to go after the rangers.
* WolverineClaws: Modeled after icicles, [[AnIcePerson naturally]]

!!Scrapper

->'''Voiced by''': Jeff Szusterman

A monster sent by Sledge to hunt down the rangers' secret base.

* TheBrute: To Sledge's group when they first confronted the Power Rangers.
* NearVillainVictory: He actually finds the rangers' secret base. Good thing he was destroyed before he could report to Sledge.
* {{Sizeshifter}}: Could compress his entire body into the claw on his right arm.

!!Slammer

->'''Voiced by''': Nic Sampson

A prison themed monster who captures Chase and Koda in one of his cages.

* {{Irony}}: A prison themed monster that is one of Sledge's prisoners.
* TheJailer: His powers allow him to create cages and imprison people.
* {{Jerkass}}: Is generally loud and outspoken.

!!Spellbinder

->'''Voiced by''': Callum Stembridge

A monster who steals a magic pendant and places Chase under a spell.

* CleverCrows: He's themed after a crow.
* HypnoTrinket: His pendant.

!!Cavity

->'''Voiced by''': Kelson Henderson

A monster sent to Angel Grove in order to give cavities to its residents.

* AdaptationDeviation: The armor his true form wears bears a striking resemblence to that of Stingrage (the monster of the week after Cavity). In Kyoryuger, this is due to Stingrage's counterpart corrupting Cavity's counterpart, making him more aggressive and altering his appearance. In Power Rangers, this is instead Cavity's true personality and appearance, with the chef theme being a front he's forced to put on by Poisandra.
* EvilChef: He's a baker whom Poisandra wants to make her wedding cake, but he's also a wanted criminal.
* OneWingedAngel: He initially looks like a pastry chef, however his true form gives him armor adorned with multiple screaming faces.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Poisandra until he got sick of her crap. He notes that he truly only has this to Sledge.

!!Stingrage

->'''Voiced by''': Peter Daube, Jorge Ornelas (Latin American Spanish dub)

[[quoteright:287:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_stingrage.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:287:''That really stings!'']]

A monster who was released in order to claim the Ankylo Zord, and has since been revived on multiple occasions to menace the rangers again.

* BackFromTheDead: He was resurrected in "World Famous! (in New Zealand)", and again in "Forgive and Forget".
* TheBerserker: What his venom originally turned people into.
* BigCreepyCrawlies: He's incredibly insect-like.
* BodyMotifs: If you look closely, you can see his body is covered in many images of screaming faces.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: The effect of his venom in his third appearance.
* ProngsOfPoseidon: Stingrage's main weapon.
* RelatedInTheAdaptation: Inverted. In the sentai version, he, Iceage, and Meteor's counterparts were part of a group called "the Extinctioners". They aren't part of a group together in "Dino Charge".
* SpikeShooter: What he fires from his trident. His stingers are the delivery method for his venom.

!!Duplicon

->'''Voiced by''': Paolo Rotondo

A monster who can create ranger clones from Vivix.

* BackFromTheDead: Was resurrected for the Halloween special.
* CloneArmy: Created this of the rangers out of Vivix along with creating a clone of Fury while giant.

!!Puzzler

->'''Voiced by''': Phil Brown

A monster enlisted by Fury to distract the rangers while he tried to charge the Ptera Charger.

* BrilliantButLazy: He uses his powers to create a maze and then runs off to relax.
* MobileMaze: Creates this out of the abandoned lab Fury was using to recharge the Ptera Charger.

!!Bones

->'''Voiced by''': Robert Mignault

A skeleton monster who can make people cowardly by stealing their backbone.

* DemBones: Being skeleton-themed.
* MythologyGag: While it's unknown if this was intentional, he shares his name with the first MOTW of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, who is essentially the first MOTW in the entire Power Rangers series.

!!Smokescreen

->'''Voiced by''': Brendan Lovell

A monster sent to hide a bomb in Tyler's jeep.

* EverythingsBetterWithSamurai
* FatSlob: His somewhat plump physique and constant fart jokes could make him this.
* {{Gasshole}}: His powers include farting out a smelly red fog from the pipes on his back.
* {{Jerkass}}: Mainly to Wrench.
* MadBomber: His mission involves planting an explosive to destroy the Rangers.
* OminousFog: Releases a fart-like fog to avoid being spotted by enemies.
* SnakePeople: Can become one of these while giant.

!!Gold Digger

->'''Voiced by''': Scott Willis

A treasure themed monster.

* ImprobableWeaponUser: Attacks using explosive gold coins and incredibly dense stone tablets.
* InexplicableTreasureChests: Is designed as one.

!!Memorella:

->'''Voiced by''': Lori Dungey

A vampire monster who disguises herself as one of the rangers during a Halloween party.

* MuggedForDisguise: Does this to [[spoiler: Koda]].
* {{Telepathy}}: Can use this to read others' minds and steal memories.
* VillainTeamUp: With the newly revived Duplicon.

!!Shearfear

->'''Voiced by''': Sean Lynch

A scissors monster that can sever friendships.

* BladesBelowTheShoulder: His weapon when his scissors are destroyed.
* RunsWithScissors: It is his main weapon after all.

!!Meteor

* ADogNamedDog: His name is Meteor, and he's based on one too.
* BackFromTheDead: He was resurrected in "Deep Down Under" after being destroyed in the previous episode.
* RelatedInTheAdaptation: Inverted. In the sentai version, he, Iceage, and Stingrage's counterparts were part of a group called "the Extinctioners". They aren't part of a group together in "Dino Charge" (though they are all revived and sent down together at one point).

!! Wish Star

->'''Voiced by''': Ross Girven

A wish monster who is sent to retrieve Purple Energem from the rangers.

* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Every wish made on Wish Star's cursed wish tags have a form of repercussion.
* JackassGenie: Grants wishes, but in ways that go poorly for the people who make them.
* TheStarscream: In a way. He ends up going rogue after Fury said that he was going back to jail. Albeit, he was planning to return after he retreived the Purple Energem so that he could be let free by Sledge.

!!Greenzilla

[[quoteright:287:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_greenzilla.png]]

Another unseen prisoner that Sledge has locked away in solitary confinement. Has an unfortunate habit of attacking anybody too close to its cell with its tentacles.

* TheBerserker: Seems to be a mindless beast rather than a sapient alien. This is reflected in the fight with it, as it spends most of its fight with the Dino Charge Megazord basically ''mauling'' it.
* CombatTentacles: Which it often uses to lash out against anyone unfortunate enough to be within range.
* DemotedToExtra: It was originally the OneWingedAngel form of Kyoryuger BigBad Deboth, but here it's merely a MonsterOfTheWeek. An unusually ''strong'' one, but still.
* TheDreaded: The threat of going into solitary with it scares Wrench almost to death.
* GodzillaThreshold: Sledge unleashes it on Earth in the first season finale in the hopes of it finally destroying the megazords, while he uses the [[spoiler: purple Energem]] to destroy the rangers.
* {{Kaiju}}: If the [[Franchise/{{Godzilla}} name]] didn't tip you off.
* MonsterIsAMommy: [[spoiler:Before its destruction, it managed to lay six eggs in its cell, which Sledge found and hid all over the world. One is destroyed by the Rangers before it can hatch, but they have to bring out all five Megazords to defeat the rest when they emerge.]]

!!Nightmare

->'''Voiced by''': Jacque Drew

A sheep themed monster who is able to incflict nightmares on others.

* BackFromTheDead: He was resurrected in "Freaky Fightday" to assist Professor Strickler.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: He acts rather childish in nature. However his plan to exhaust the rangers do greatly handicap them to the point that they can't even beat mere Vivix is kind of brutal.
* {{Jerkass}}: His main goal in life is to torment the team through their dreams, so they can't sleep, and thus can be beaten easily.
* {{Troll}}: Not only messes with the rangers' dreams to the point that they have to avoid sleeping, but sends onslaughts of Vivixs in order to make the rangers completely exhausted.

!!Ninja

->'''Voiced by''': Adrian Smith

A monster sent by Singe to install a virus into the rangers' computer system.

* ADogNamedDog: He's a ninja monster named Ninja.
* KatanasAreJustBetter: It's his main weapon.
* SuperSpeed: This allows him to install Singe's virus without being spotted.

!!Hunter

->'''Voiced by''': Jay Simon

A spider monster who assisted Ninja in trying to capture the Red Ranger, later being used as bait in a plan by Singe to weaken the rangers' Energems.

* ADogNamedDog: His name is Hunter, and he's got a hunting theme.
* AutomaticCrossbow: One of his main weapons, along with a machete.
* SpidersAreScary: Has a spider-like hairdo on his head.

!!Game Face

->'''Voiced by''': Michael Saccente

A sports equipment monster with various tools at his disposal who trains an army of Vivix.

* BackFromTheDead: He was resurrected in "Freaky Fightday" to assist Professor Strickler.
* DrillSergeantNasty: When training a group of Vivix to fight againt the rangers.
* IKnowMaddenKombat: His attacks are sports-themed.
* ImpossiblyCoolWeapon: One of his weapons is a bat that hits targets with explosive force, and doubles as an explosive itself. As the bat ends up in Koda's possession, the closest we see to Game Face using it is when he tries to get close enough to detonate the bat.

!!Spell Digger

->'''Voiced by''': Scott Willis

A greed monster made by Fury by combining Spellbinder with Gold Digger.

* {{Foreshadowing}}: Long before his actual appearance. In episode 5 of Dino Charge, after Spellbinder's destruction, Sledge saved Spellbinder's pendant, noting that it could be helpful in the future. Anyone who has seen or knows of Kyoryuger more than likely knew it would be used to create Spell Digger.
* FusionDance: Was created by combining Spellbinder's pendant with Gold Digger's coins.
* {{Greed}}: Anyone who touches his gold coins instantly becomes greedy.
* MixAndMatchMan: Due to how he was created, he has parts from both Spellbinder and Gold Digger.
* WeaponsThatSuck: His pendant was later modified to suck up enemy attacks.

!!Halfbake

->'''Voiced by''': Kevin Keys

A chef on Heckyl's crew who fought on his own accord to prove that he is a competant monster.

* AdaptationalWimp: Unlike his counterpart, he's just a chef whose only real plan is "destroy the Rangers", whereas Debo Akidamonne was armed with explosives and could pull people into a pocket dimension that induced depression and sorrow for Aigaron to collect.
* AlasPoorVillain: The poor guy just wanted to fit in with the other villains. Not only was he arguably the weakest monster in the season, but the worst he did was kidnap someone and threaten to bake them into a giant crepe (though he thought said person was the Pink Ranger due to overhearing a rumor and likely would have left them alone if he knew this was false). Despite being a villain it's kind of hard to not feel sorry for him.
* ButtMonkey: Even Wrench makes fun of him.
* DropTheHammer: His weapon of choice.
* EvilChef: He's an outlaw who works as Heckyl's chef for a time.
* {{Gonk}}: His exaggeratingly large head and awkward facial features could be seen as this.
* IdiotBall: Outside of being fairly weak, he really didn't have much brains either. When Heckyl asked if he had a plan to destroy the rangers, Halfbake's response?
-->'''Halfbake''': "I'll just... destroy them!"
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Uses chestnuts as bombs.
* SeasonalBaggage: His physical appearance is themed after autumn.

!!Hookbeard

->'''Voiced by''': Mark Wright

A fisherman themed monster sent by Snide to destroy the Titano Zord.

* FeelNoPain: Takes a T-Rex Super Charge Morph Blast without even flinching. The Victory Maximum Final Strike only manages to knock him down, as opposed to actually destroy him.
* ShockAndAwe: His Electro Rod, which he uses to electrocute a lake containing the Titano Zord.
* StoneWall: Is one of the stronger monster to fight the rangers at this point, even surviving the Victory Maximum Final Strike. The Titano Charge Megazord was able to do the trick, though.

!!Beauticruel

->'''Voiced by''': Lori Dungey

A Vivix who is upgraded by Poisandra's magic makeup.

* TheBeautifulElite: Thinks of herself as this.
* FreakyFridayFlip: Switches bodies with an Earth woman in order to seduce Tyler and later Chase.
* KingMook: She's a modified Vivix.
* ShesAManInJapan: Her Sentai countpart is a male Zorima dressed in drag.

!!Leisure

->'''Voiced by''': Penny Ashton

A summer themed monster who was sealed away by Koda's grandfather.

* {{Foil}}: Is much more hostile and aggressive compared to her goofy and fun loving brother.
* GiantEnemyCrab: She's got the claws of a crab.
* LazyBum: Anyone hit by her Holiday Beam becomes this.
* RedOniBlueOni: The red oni to her brother Loafer's blue oni.
* ShesAManInJapan: Her Sentai counterpart, Debo Vaacance, is male.
* SeasonalBaggage: Themed after summer.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: She and her brother look exactly the same.

!!Loafer

->'''Voiced by''': Aaron Ward

Leisure's twin brother.

* BewareTheSillyOnes: He's shown to be a capable fighter despite his silly nature.
* BigBrotherInstinct: While it's not known if he actually was the big brother, his reaction to Leisure's death could be seen as this.
* {{Foil}}: Is much more laid back compared to his aggressive and battle ready sister.
* GiantEnemyCrab: He's got the claws of a crab.
* LazyBum: It's implied that he has the same Holiday Beam that makes others lazy that his sister has. He also embodies this trope, as he prefers to goof off and play as opposed to fight the rangers.
* RedOniBlueOni: The blue oni to his sister Leisure's red oni.
* SeasonalBaggage: Themed after summer.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: He and his sister look exactly the same.
* TranquilFury: While angry about his sister's death, he sounds and acts no different outside a slight raise in his voice.

!!Fortress

A monster/Megazord created by Wrench to be used by Heckyl and Snide.

* DumbMuscle: He doesn't show any form of actual intellegence, most likely so he could be controlled while giant.
* HumongousMecha: Acts as this for Heckyl and Snide.

!!Scumlaw

->'''Voiced by''': Jason Hood

A prosecutor monster who takes the rangers to the Halloween Intergalactic Court.

* AmoralAttorney: Used false claims and accusations in an attempt to get the rangers a guilty verdict.
* TheComicallySerious: When he said that he owned the jury, it wasn't just figurative statement. [[spoiler: It turned out that the jury was actually just a group of Vivix, Poisandra, and Curio; all of whom were on his side.]]
* DecompositeCharacter: In Kyoryuger, he's the true form of New Sorrowful Knight Icerondo. Icerondo also has a cloaked form, which is used for Arcanon's music-themed ally Conductro.
* DirtyCoward: Does his best to avoid fighting, instead getting others to fight for him.
* DemotedToExtra: In ''Kyoryuger'', he was one of two generals created to replace Wrench and Poisandra's counterparts. He lasted four episodes and actually played an important part the story. In Dino Super Charge, he is a one off monster of the week who only appears in the season's Halloween special.
* KangarooCourt: He sets the Rangers up to be tried by one.

!!Professor Strickler

->'''Voiced by''': Emmett Skilton

A classroom themed monster who uses a body swapping device to swap the rangers' bodies.

* ADogNamedDog: Strongly averted. When his action figure was revealed, he was listed under the name Teacher, similar to other monsters in the season.
* EvilBrit: He's a villain with a British accent.
* EvilTeacher: He's evil, and he acts like a teacher.
* FreakyFridayFlip: Has Nightmare switch the bodies of the main six rangers. He later has his own body briefly switched with Zenowing's.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: His left arm is a blaster shaped like a pencil and has a body swapping device that resembles an eraser.

!!Conductro

->'''Voiced by''': Kevin Keys

One of Lord Arcanon's musicians. Conducts Screech, who uses his music to turn people into zombies.

* DarkIsEvil: He wears a black suit and cape.
* DecompositeCharacter: In Kyoryuger, he's the disguised form of New Sorrowful Knight Icerondo, while Icerondo's true form was used for the lawyer-themed monster Scumlaw.
* DemotedToExtra: In Kyoryuger, he and Screech were generals created to replace Wrench and Poisandra's counterparts, while here, they just act as monsters of the week.
* MindControlDevice: Later uses a turntable playing a record with Screech's music on it to control people.
* MusicalAssassin: Along with Screech. They can even combine their talents to create music for either offense or defense.
* OminousOperaCape: Wears a black cape that covers almost his entire body.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Lord Arcanon.

!!Screech

One of Lord Arcanon's musicians. His trumphet music is able to turn people into zombies.

* DemotedToExtra: In Kyoryuger, he and Conductro were generals created to replace Poisandra and Wrench's counterparts, while here, they just act as monsters of the week. Screech and Conductro's costumes were just disguises in Kyoryuger, with the generals having a true form. Unlike Conductro, Screech's true form was not adapted into Dino Charge.
* GigglingVillain: Unlike Conductro, he doesn't speak on screen, instead occasionally emitting a hysterical laugh.
* LightIsNotGood: He wears a white suit and cape.
* ManInWhite: He's completely cloaked in white.
* MindControlMusic: His trumphet music turns people into zombies.
* MindControlDevice: Later uses a turntable playing a record with his music on it to control people.
* MusicalAssassin: Along with Conductro. They can even combine their talents to create music for either offense or defense.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Lord Arcanon.

!!Badussa

->'''Voiced by''': Ross Girven

A monster who uses a cursed amulet to turn people into stone.

* AngryGuardDog: Has some canine themed accents on his body, which makes sense as the Kyoryuger villains were partially inspiration from the Wizard of Oz characters, with Badussa taking inspiration from Toto.
* DemotedToExtra: Very much. In Kyoryuger, he was the main antagonist of the season's movie, where he is an evil ranger called Deathryuger (a ranger that was not adapted for Dino Charge). He appears once again in the season, where he is finally destroyed. In Dino Charge, while he does appear in the background now and then, he doesn't have that big of an impact to the show outside of showing that Heckyl is starting to reform and help introduce the Spino Zord. These changes were possibly done since [[spoiler: Zenowing and Doomwing]] were doing the "evil Ranger" schtick just a few episodes ago, requiring a different role for Badussa to avoid repetition.
* KnightOfCerebus: Is much more serious and brutal when compared to the previous outlaws.
* MythologyGag: He brags more than once about destroying the 'Kyoryuger' Galaxy, a reference to the Sentai which Dino Charge is adapted from.
* {{Sadist}}: To the point that Heckyl compares him to Lord Arcanon.
* TakenForGranite: His amulet fires a beam that turns people into stone when it hits their eyes.

!!Heximas

->'''Voiced by''': Andrew Laing

A monster that survived the destruction of Sledge's ship who stole Santa's coal into order to curse it and give it to people, which would turn them into his evil elves.

* AscendedExtra: Somewhat. In Kyoryuger, he didn't do anything outside be the final monster of the week (albeit during a major plot shift in the season). In Dino Super Charge, he is fought after the events of the main series, acting as a surprise final villain of sorts.
* BadSanta: Instead of giving away presents, he delivers coal that brainwashes people.
* TheDitz: Seems to be this. The rangers question why it took 65 million years to do something that would seem simple to an alien such as create coal that controls people, which makes sense as monsters before him could do similar things with ease.
* PostFinalBoss: He's the last monster of the series, and only features after the main villains are destroyed [[spoiler:or sent to another universe]].
* SarcasmBlind: Works with his ditzy nature. Ivan called Heximas' plan a "jolly good plan" in a sarcastic tone, which Heximas took as an actual compliment, clapping and happily thanking the ranger.
* TheChessmaster: He plans to capture and brainwash all 10 Dino Charge Rangers, so that they could help him give presents to naughty people, and his cursed coal to the good people.
* TrueFinalBoss: While Sledge takes this role in the previous episode, and is about to head towards the sun, he steals a transport pod meant for Wrench by knocking him down into the floor, and leaving him to destroyed, with Sledge, Poisandra, and his fellow outlaws, who he isn't shown to interact with, he becomes this in the Christmas special, and series final.

!!Tyler Navarro[=/=]Dino Charge Red

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_tyler.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''It's about to get wild!'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Brennan Mejia

* BerserkButton:
* PowerFist: His T-Rex Smasher.

->'''Portrayed by''': James Davies

->'''Portrayed by''': Yoshi Sudarso

->'''Portrayed by''': Michael Taber

->'''Portrayed by''': Camille Hyde

* DudeWheresMyRespect:

->'''Portrayed by''': Davi Santos

[[caption-width-right:344:''Allow me to introduce myself. I am Prince Phillip III of Zandar. The '''real''' prince.'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Jarred Blakiston

[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pr_albert.png]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''You helped me find my courage. And you also made me realize [[spoiler:that I can't remain a Power Ranger.]]'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Arthur Ranford

->'''Portrayed by''': Claire Blackwelder

* CatchPhrase: "Good grief!"

[[caption-width-right:350:''It's me. I'm [[spoiler:your dad]].'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Reuben Turner

* DropTheHammer: Ankylo Zord's weapon.

[[caption-width-right:350:''I mean you no harm. Gather the bravest among you. I need your help.'']]

->'''Portrayed by''': Eve Gordon

* UsefulNotes/AmericanAccents: Has a Midwestern American Accent.

->'''Portrayed by''': Patricia Vichman

!!Sledge

* BadBoss:
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes:
* OhCrap:
** Has one of these moments when he realizes Keeper swapped Energems for his crystal bomb.
-->'''Sledge''': [[BigWhat What?!]] IT'S A BOMB!

* WhamShot:

* SweetTooth:

* EvilerThanThou:

* EvilTwin: Once again, Zenowing's.

!!Scrapper

->'''Voiced by''': Jeff Szusterman

!!Slammer

->'''Voiced by''': Nic Sampson

->'''Voiced by''': Callum Stembridge

A monster who steals a magic pendant and places Chase under a spell.

* CleverCrows: He's themed after a crow.
* HypnoTrinket: His pendant.

!!Cavity

->'''Voiced by''': Kelson Henderson

* BigCreepyCrawlies: He's incredibly insect-like.
* BodyMotifs: If you look closely, you can see his body is covered in many images of screaming faces.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: The effect of his venom in his third appearance.
* ProngsOfPoseidon: Stingrage's main weapon.

!!Duplicon

->'''Voiced by''': Paolo Rotondo

A monster who can create ranger clones from Vivix.

* BackFromTheDead: Was resurrected for the Halloween special.
* CloneArmy: Created this of the rangers out of Vivix along with creating a clone of Fury while giant.

!!Puzzler

->'''Voiced by''': Phil Brown

!!Bones

->'''Voiced by''': Robert Mignault

A skeleton monster who can make people cowardly by stealing their backbone.

* DemBones: Being skeleton-themed.
* MythologyGag: While it's unknown if this was intentional, he shares his name with the first MOTW of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, who is essentially the first MOTW in the entire Power Rangers series.

!!Smokescreen

->'''Voiced by''': Brendan Lovell

A monster sent to hide a bomb in Tyler's jeep.

* EverythingsBetterWithSamurai
* FatSlob: His somewhat plump physique and constant fart jokes could make him this.
* {{Gasshole}}: His powers include farting out a smelly red fog from the pipes on his back.
* {{Jerkass}}: Mainly to Wrench.
* MadBomber: His mission involves planting an explosive to destroy the Rangers.
* OminousFog: Releases a fart-like fog to avoid being spotted by enemies.
* SnakePeople: Can become one of these while giant.

!!Gold Digger

->'''Voiced by''': Scott Willis

A treasure themed monster.

* ImprobableWeaponUser: Attacks using explosive gold coins and incredibly dense stone tablets.
* InexplicableTreasureChests: Is designed as one.

!!Memorella:

->'''Voiced by''': Lori Dungey

!!Shearfear

->'''Voiced by''': Sean Lynch

A scissors monster that can sever friendships.

* BladesBelowTheShoulder: His weapon when his scissors are destroyed.
* RunsWithScissors: It is his main weapon after all.

!!Meteor

->'''Voiced by''': Stephen Butterworth

A meteroid monster sent to retrieve the Purple Energem and destroy the Plesio Zord in New Zealand.

!! Wish Star

->'''Voiced by''': Ross Girven

!!Nightmare

->'''Voiced by''': Jacque Drew

!!Ninja

->'''Voiced by''': Adrian Smith

A monster sent by Singe to install a virus into the rangers' computer system.

* ADogNamedDog: He's a ninja monster named Ninja.
* KatanasAreJustBetter: It's his main weapon.
* SuperSpeed: This allows him to install Singe's virus without being spotted.

!!Hunter

->'''Voiced by''': Jay Simon

!!Game Face

->'''Voiced by''': Michael Saccente

->'''Voiced by''': Scott Willis

!!Halfbake

->'''Voiced by''': Kevin Keys

-->'''Halfbake''': "I'll just... destroy them!"
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Uses chestnuts as bombs.
* SeasonalBaggage: His physical appearance is themed after autumn.

!!Hookbeard

->'''Voiced by''': Mark Wright

->'''Voiced by''': Lori Dungey

A Vivix who is upgraded by Poisandra's magic makeup.

* TheBeautifulElite: Thinks of herself as this.
* FreakyFridayFlip: Switches bodies with an Earth woman in order to seduce Tyler and later Chase.
* KingMook: She's a modified Vivix.
* ShesAManInJapan: Her Sentai countpart is a male Zorima dressed in drag.

!!Leisure

->'''Voiced by''': Penny Ashton

* SeasonalBaggage: Themed after summer.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: She and her brother look exactly the same.

!!Loafer

->'''Voiced by''': Aaron Ward

* SeasonalBaggage: Themed after summer.

!!Scumlaw

->'''Voiced by''': Jason Hood

->'''Voiced by''': Emmett Skilton

A classroom themed monster who uses a body swapping device to swap the rangers' bodies.

* ADogNamedDog: Strongly averted. When his action figure was revealed, he was listed under the name Teacher, similar to other monsters in the season.
* EvilBrit: He's a villain with a British accent.

!!Conductro

->'''Voiced by''': Kevin Keys

* UndyingLoyalty: To Lord Arcanon.

* UndyingLoyalty: To Lord Arcanon.

!!Badussa

->'''Voiced by''': Ross Girven

!!Heximas

->'''Voiced by''': Andrew Laing
