* AdaptationalWimp: His 5th Edition stats render him as a weak CR 1/4 creature with none of the abilities or resistances that he possessed in ''Planescape: Torment''. Of course, he shows up in an adventure for low-level characters, so if he were as strong as he was by the end of the computer game he wouldn't need any assistance from the player characters.

** The Paranoid Incarnation also tried breaking the cycle of IdentityAmnesia by seeking out experts in ressurection to make sure he'd be the last one and no-one else could steal his body after death. He found one, who stopped (or at least identified the end of) the resurrection amnesia suffered by the Nameless One, making the game as-is possible. Unfortunately that solution only kicked in several deaths ''after'' the Paranoid Incarnation was dead and gone.

* ClingyJealousGirl: She gets furious when ever another girl enters the picture with the Nameless One. This the main reason for her dislike of Fall-from-Grace, and if the player tries to hire a harlot she violently threatens said harlot. Eventually, she'll even leave the party and refuse to return until you've kicked out Fall-From-Grace.

* BerserkButton: Downplayed since it's not an especially big reaction, but when handing over a wrought-iron cage, he tells you, apropos of nothing, to "TAKE THIS CAGE AND LAY WASTE TO THOSE WHO CREATE SUCH CONFINES"; being who he is, Coaxmetal seems affronted on an intrinsical level by the very ''concept'' of confinement. This naturally extends to his own imprisonment: If he catches you with a means to escape and you don't hand it over right then and there, [[PermanentlyMissableContent he will ban you from his tower, no questions asked]].

* TheCameo: A few oblique references are made to The Nameless One in the 5e ''Planescape: Adventures In The Multiverse'' sourcebooks; in the adventure ''Turn of Fortune's Wheel'' the party members wake up in the Mortuary like and encounter Morte like he did and are stricken with a multiversal "glitch" that gives them a variant of his type of immortality [[spoiler:and the last boxed quote in the module is attributed to Adahn, a pseudonym TNO can go by in lieu of their own forgotten name which, if done enough, can spawn a real person named Adahn (which appears to be the case for the module's Adahn, who is referred to as a "newly arrived resident of Sigil")]] Additionally, the monster art for the Vargouille Reflections in ''Morte's Planar Parade'' includes a Vargouille that has taken the appearance of TNO, implying that he's been kicking around in Undersigil. Notably, all of these cameos are a case of RetroactiveRecognition as the 5e Planescape sourcebooks are all set ''before'' the events of ''Planescape: Torment''; notably, Morte refuses to accompany the party in ''Turn of Fortune's Wheel'' if asked becasue he is "waiting for somebody else", presumably the next incarnation of TNO who will kick off the events of ''Torment''. Exactly where the current incarnation of TNO is during the events described in the 5e sourcebooks is unknown, likely to avoid any CuttingOffTheBranches issues with this game and any home campaigns run with these sourcebooks.

** Casting him into the Plane of Fire is described as one potential way of killing him. However, from what is learned about how his immortality functions, it's possible that doing so wouldn't so much kill him as trap him in an endless loop of being burned to death, reviving, and burning again.
