The small yet mighty pirate crew of the evil pirate Marshall D. Teach aka Blackbeard. Despite their small size, they're powerful enough to take on a whole kingdom, like Drum. First introduced in Jaya, they later reappear on Banaro Island where they capture Ace. After the events of Impel Down, the crew is now strengthened by several legendary criminals and is heading to the New World. Blackbeard's initial crew members were Van Augur the marksman, Jesus Burgess the fighter, Doc Q the doctor and his horse Stronger, and Laffitte the navigator. Following the crew's breakout from Impel Down, they recruited Shilliew the swordsman, Catarina Devon, Avalo Pizarro, Vasco Shot, and Sanjuan Wolf, all former Level Six prisoners and highly feared individuals.
After the TimeSkip, Blackbeard has replaced Whitebeard as one of the Four Emperors as confirmed in Chapter 650. He has since expanded his crew greatly, to the extent that it is now divided into ten divisions, each led by one of his Ten Titanic Captains. Burgess, Shiliew, and Laffitte are all confirmed to be captains.

The small yet mighty pirate crew of the evil pirate Marshall D. Teach aka Blackbeard. Despite their small size, they're powerful enough to take on a whole kingdom, like Drum. One of the original 5 Blackbeard Pirates and the ship doctor, Doc Q is a DeadlyDoctor who is constantly sickly and weak, just like his horse, Stronger, and seems to be the oldest member of the crew. Like most of the crew, he is a fatalist, believing that fate is the measure of a person's worth.

One of the original 5 Blackbeard Pirates, Laffitte is the navigator and one of the more enigmatic members. An effeminate man resembling a mime, he seems to possess powers of hypnosis and has wings that make him capable of flight just like a Skypeian. He is the man responsible for sneaking into Marine HQ to recommend Blackbeard as the next Shichibukai, and the one who hypnotized the guards to allow for their infiltration into Impel Down.

* PoliceBrutality: Originally he was a police officer somewhere in the West Blue, but his career was ended in scandal when it was revealed that he engaged heavily in this.

* UndyingLoyalty: His catchphrase says it all. He threatens to kill Avalo Pizzaro when he jokingly suggests taking over Blackbeard. Keep in mind Avalo is one of the most feared Level 6 criminals in history.
