* MirrorCharacter: For his cousin. Both seem annoying and obnoxious at first, but they actually have severe family problems, and it is implied their current funny personality is a way to cope up with all the abuse at home.

* UnsympatheticComedyProtagonist: Niño Ratta is selfish, arrogant, dumb, and all-around obnoxious. His antics are so extreme that the constant abuse by Don Cuco actually come off as being warranted half the time.

Niño Ratta's stepfather. A violent and alcholic man who is always full of debts, has an unhealthy obsession with drinking Jack Daniels (the aforementioned "Yakelino") and really hates children. Especially the loud and obnoxious Niño Ratta.

* AbusiveParents: A RunningGag is that he often beats Niño Ratta. Sometimes for justified reasons and sometimes because he can.

* DarkAndTroubledPast: In "El Origen del Yakelino", it is revealed that Macoro used to be a church boy and the priest there was an abusive alcholic who often beat the churchboys and forced them to sing the "Yakelino" song for him. Also, one of his fellow churchboys was Niño Ratta's teacher. Possibly [[FridgeHorror the explanation of why he is a pedophile and why Don Cuco is a child hater.]]

* GoodIsNotNice: Only a couple of examples, though. First, his abuse of Niño Ratta may count. One instance of this is the "Oposite Day" episode, where Niño Ratta puked to death (literally), Don Cuco [[AndThereWasMuchRejoicing was shown dancing and joyfully singing his character song]].
* HiddenDepths: The YOUNOW shorts and the "Adventuratta 777" segments show that he is actually a cool and friendly guy, just that he is always full on debts and Niño Ratta always gets on his nerves.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He is actually rather nice and friendly.... but apparently he hates children.

* NotSoAboveItAll: In the "La Adventuratta 777" segments, it's revealed that he took a liking to Minecraft, and he sometimes plays it in his stepson's PC. Surprisingly, he ends up being a better player than Niño Ratta ever was, and later episodes focus on Don Cuco playing Minecraft when Niño Ratta isn't watching....
* ThisIsForEmphasisBitch: Most of his dialogue, especially when talking with Niño Ratta.
* ThrowTheDogABone: Ocasionally shows some fondness for Ratta in his own, twisted way: In a Christmas episode he gets Ratta the [[Film/JingleAllTheWay Turbo Man]] action figure his biological dad didn't get him (apparently after stealing it from Santa Claus) and in the Father's Day episode, after Ratta gives him Sabritones and beer as a present he tells him "I appreciate your faggotry, bitch", so that he will stop crying.

* DarkAndTroubledPast: It's revealed in "Bebé Babas" that she was originally HappilyMarried to her husband until he got fed up with baby Niño Ratta constant slurping. Afterwards, she stopped caring about everything.

* OffingTheOffspring: In some episodes, she'll kill Niño Ratta after his antics start annoying everyone too much.

* ButtMonkey: He's mistreated by everyone around him. Niño Ratta doesn't like having him around and only uses him. While Don Cuco and even his own father consider him a nuisance.

* LovableCoward: Niño Otacco always tries to do his best to help and support Niño Ratta, but when he gets into serious trouble (such as being on the verge of death or about to be beaten by Don Cuco) he decides he'd rather not.
* MirrorCharacter: For his cousin. Both seem annoying and obnoxious at first, but they actually have severe family problems, and it is implied their current funny personality is a way to cope up with all the abuse at home.

* TheUnfavorite: His father cares more about his cousin than him and thinks Niño Otacco is a worthless loser (Mostly because he thinks Ratta's "hacking" abilities are much more impressive than they really are).

* ObstructiveBureaucrat: Whenever an employee asks her for anything, she will be as unhelpful as possible out of pure spite. How dare they ask her to do her job! Can't they see she's busy wasting time?

* VitriolicBestBuds: Develops this with Ñoñostacio. Negas often mocks his "weabooness", but they do get along rather well, with Negas willingly hanging out with him and playing games together.

* ItsAllAboutMe: Thinks of herself as smarter than everyone else (which she's not) which makes her look down on others, she's only interested in those she deems useful to her, she is obsessed with being the center of attention and throws fits when she's not.

* StrawFeminist: She speaks her mind a lot, and a lot of the things that she talks about usually involves the patriarchy.

An easygoing OccidentalOtaku who loves watching anime and making references no one understands. Is way too nice and forgiving for his own good, which is why Negas dislikes him.

* NiceGuy: His main flaw is that he tries very hard to be likeable to every person he meets. Even to his BadBoss Paulo (who calls him ''"My Number 1 Exploitable Bitch"''). Hell, when he was a child he became from an athletic jock to a slobbish otaku because a vendor claimed that people would like him more that way!

* ThePollyanna: Ñoñostacio usually tries to stay positive, even when it doesn't work out for him.

* UsedToBeASweetKid: Surprisingly, in ''"Dia del Niño"'' (''"Children’s Day"'') he was an outgoing school jock. Until one day a vendor tried to sell them some Anime/YuGiOh cards and convinced him that he would be succesful at life if he collected them all. Afterwards, he becomes a slobbish OccidentalOtaku.

* VitriolicBestBuds: Debatable, but he seems to become this with Negas in later seasons.

* BrutalHonesty: The reason he has such a bad time at the maquila company is because he refuses to be a ProfessionalButtkisser (which is why Paulo favors Ñoñostacio over him).

A flamboyant man and the manager at the maquila company. He's also a shameless pervert who abuses his position to harass his male coworkers, Negas included.

The boss of the maquila company. He is [[StupidBoss dumb]], sometimes descending to ditz levels, and utterly sociopathic. Has the ability to appear everywhere, combined with an "aururururu" sound.

He originally appeared in the ''Raltoon'' web animation, being Ral's snarky brother who had a part-time job as a janitor. However, he became a BreakoutCharacter and got his own series. After getting a job as a salaryman in a [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maquiladora maquila factory]] and moves to the DC, but soon finds the pros and cons of living in a populated city.

Negas's younger brother. A cheerful schoolboy who goes into non-sensical adventures with his best friends Keto and Ranito. He was the original main character of the RAL Toons videos, until Negas proved to be a EnsembleDarkhorse, leaving Ral OutOfFocus until he stopped appearing.

An easygoing OccidentalOtaku who loves watching anime and making references no one understands. While very friendly and nice, Negas hates him because he's a ProfessionalButtkisser towards their boss Paulo.

* BreakoutCharacter: Negas proved so popular that he's pretty much the face of RAL's Irreverent-Toons (from promotional materials, you'd be fooled into thinking he was the main character). In fact, his massive popularity surprised even the creator and he had to radically change their plans for him as a result. It's gotten to the point that he got his own show while Ral fell into obscurity.
