[[caption-width-right:175:''"Mamadas, mamadas pendejas!"'' [[labelnote:note]]''"Bullshit, fucking bullshit!"''[[/labelnote]]]]
A grouchy, apathetic white-collared worker who often has harsh words for the schemes, thoughts, and actions of everyone around him. Originally a janitor, he moves to the DC to work as a WhiteCollarWorker in a [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maquiladora maquila]].
----
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: In the first seasons, he looks more tired and homely, which befits his anti-social nature. Come ''Don Makila'' however, and his looks get kicked up a notch.
* AdaptationDyeJob: Had black hair in his original appearances.
* AloofBigBrother: Towards Ral.
* AscendedExtra: Originally designed so [[CheerfulChild Ral]] could have someone who was the complete opposite of him. His design and snarky attitude proved very popular with the fans that eventually he made more appearances and more of his personality was fleshed out (he was more of an AloofBigBrother in the early days of Ral, to the point of saying SureLetsGoWithThat to any of Ral's antics) and got bigger roles till a webseries story was eventually made for him in 2011.
** DemotedToExtra: Around 2016 R.A.L declared the Negas series to be canceled and started focusing on more popular characters such as [[MostGamersAreMale Niño Ratta]] or [[AffectionateParody Poppa Peg]].
* AuthorAvatar: Of R.A.L.
* AxCrazy: Not always, but videos like the ''VideoGame/CRYSIS3'' promotional animation show that Negas can become very bloodthirsty and psychotic under the right conditions, even if he isn't being necessarily provoked by others' idiocy.
* TheBerserker: No matter where he is, what's his mood or whenever he has done anything at all, Negas will always be bothered by something.
* BigOlEyebrows: Has some peculiar ones.
* BreakoutCharacter: Negas proved so popular that he's pretty much the face of R.A.L's Irreverent-Toons (from promotional materials, you'd be fooled into thinking he was the main character). In fact, his massive popularity surprised even the creator and he had to radically change their plans for him as a result. It's gotten to the point that he got his own show while Ral fell into obscurity.
* BrutalHonesty: The reason he has such a bad time at the maquila is because he refuses to be a ProfessionalButtkisser, which is why Paulo favors Ñoñostacio over him.
* ButtMonkey: Although many of the characters are subjected to moments of embarrassment, Negas seems to be unable to go five minutes without something humiliating happening to him.
* CatchPhrase:
** ''Mamadas, mamadas pendejas!'' (''Bullshit, freaking bullshit!'')
** When he explodes in anger he lets out a grumbling "Uuurrrgh! Urgh! Urgh!" combined with an EyeTwitch.
** "Uh-huh" when he apathetically plays along with somebody else's antics, mostly Ral's or Ñoñostacio's.
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: In his first apperance in ''Raltoon'', he seems to care about Ral and encourages him to go to school. In later episodes, he complains about how much he hates school and society and is rather apathetic towards Ral.
* TheCynic: Negas has a negative view of the world, and he often says how unfair it is or how injustices are around every corner. This is also deconstructed, as this attitude has left him with very few friends.
* DeadpanSnarker: Whenever he's not shouting his snark at the top of his lungs.
* EvenTheGuysWantHim: Or at least Checker and the gay customer from the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sgw08kx3i7M "En el Super"]] (''"At the Store"'') certainly do.
* EveryoneHasStandards: As the ''Battlefield 4'' promotion shows he might find the Army and Narcos to be both equally shitty in what you'll do, but he would rather not work to make stuff for drug-addicts if his life would be on the line, despite the bigger pay he would get.
* {{Expy}}: He's basically a Mexican ComicStrip/{{Dilbert}}.
* {{Fanboy}}: Of ''Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles''.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Negas never fits in with his peers, which is due to how off-putting, cynic, and unpleasant of a person he is. Checker and Ñoñostacio are the only ones of the show that treat him with any sort of respect on a consistent basis, and even the former has his limits, while Ñoñostacio doesn't have a mean bone in his body.
* HairTriggerTemper: When he’s mocked and belittled (a constant in this show), Negas can have some very powerful temper tantrums.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Negas is often shown not to practice what he preaches.
* InsufferableGenius: Deconstructed. His overall bitterness and cynicism give him a very poor social life.
* JerkassHasAPoint: More often than not, his rants will have some truth in them.
* MeaningfulName: His name is a pun on "negative".
* NoRespectGuy: None, whatsoever. Even when he actually does things right, he still get yelled and cursed by the people around him.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Loves making fun of Ñoñostacio for being an OccidentalOtaku....and yet he's a diehard fan of the Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles since childhood.
* RidiculouslySuccessfulFutureSelf: As shown in the episodes "El Chavo" and "Santa existe", Negas becomes a physicist, gets married and wins a Nobel Prize. He even becomes more snarker than he already is. His grandson lampshades it.
--> ''"I'm Negas' grandson, [[Franchise/BackToTheFuture Negas Mc Fly!]] Don't ask how the grumpy asshole was able to reproduce, but he did, okay?. Get it over with."''
* PromotionToParent: It's implied in ''Raltoon'' that he raised Ral, but he veers toward being an AloofBigBrother a little too much.
* SiblingYinYang: With the cheerful and laidback Ral.
* SirSwearsALot: Never goes one episode without swearing in some capacity. Though he's not quite overt about it until he gets frustrated.
* SurroundedByIdiots: A firm believer of this, even with his NotSoAboveItAll moments. A somewhat justified view considering that the world is at large filled with idiots.
* UnsympatheticComedyProtagonist: His portrayal switches between this, CosmicPlaything and some combination of both depending on the episode. He can be very pitiable, but at the same time rather self-centered, condescending (especially to his coworkers) and even outright murderous when pushed hard enough.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Parodied in ''"Dia del Niño"'' (''"Children’s Day"''). He used to think the best of people and loved to play with his ''Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles'' dolls. Then [[DisproportionateRetribution his Raphael doll breaks]] and became the cynic man we all know.
--> '''Child Negas:''' ''[smiling]'' ''Profanities are bad, homies. So never say them, ever! That's something only uncultured people do and there is no need to say them if you are content with your life. (Raphael’s head falls down, causing Negas's face to contort in anger) ....Life sucks ass!''
* TookALevelInJerkass: Becomes more rude and sour over the years. Then again, anyone would be that way after working so long at a job he clearly hates.
* VitriolicBestBuds: Develops this with Ñoñostacio. He often mocks his "weabooness", but they do get along rather well, with Negas willingly hanging out with him and playing games together.
* WhiteCollarWorker: Along with all the other characters who work at the maquila.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Pinchimono]]
[[quoteright:175:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pinchimono.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:175:''MATENSE! LOS ODIO!'' [[labelnote:note]]''KILL YOURSELVES! I HATE YOU ALL!''[[/labelnote]]]]

An AxCrazy black blob-like creature who speaks in loud screams, gets angry for little reason and loves shooting people randomly. For some reason, he has an IrrationalHatred towards Negas. It’s revealed that he’s an avatar manifestation of Negas' negative emotions.

----
* AxCrazy: He's very hysterical and unstable, often insulting and killing random people.
* AuthorAvatar: Just like Ral and Negas, sharing the same BigOlEyebrows and love for ''Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles'' as R.A.L.
* CatchPhrase: MATENSE! (KILL YOURSELVES!), LOS ODIO! (I HATE YOU ALL!).
** The few times he is happy he lets out a contented "Mhhhhh! Mhhhh! Mhhhh!"
* TheEeyore: Duh.
* EvilCounterpart: As an avatar of Negas’s negative emotions, he's this. While Negas is by no means a saint, he at least has morals and sense of restraint, unlike Pinchimono.
* {{Expy}}: [[http://www.radio-anime.net/2016/07/entrevista-negas.html The interview with Radio Anime]] reveals that Pinchimono's design is based on Kaonashi from ''Anime/SpiritedAway''.
* HatesEveryoneEqually: Like Negas he loathes pretty much anyone and everyone, unless they are satisfying some whim of his.
* HollywoodToneDeaf: In the episode [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgHnAUUs-zs "Hora del Baby"]] (''"Baby Time"''), when he's supposed to be singing a lullaby.
--> ''"SLEEEEP BABYYYYY, BABY SLEEEEEEP, SLEEP A LOOOOOT OR ELSE I'LL KILL YOOOOOOOOU. I'LL MURDER YOOOOOOOU. NEVER AGAIN BABYYYYYYY, YOU'LL BE OVEEEEEER. YOU'LL GOOOOOOOOO WITH THE DEEEEEEVIL FOREVEEEEEEEEER!"''
* KarmaHoudini: He is prone to moments of petty ComedicSociopathy, almost none of which are met with any retaliation.
* LoonyFan: Of the Happy Fish Show.
* MadeOfPhlebotinum: A sentient blob made of Negas's blood and repressed anger.
* MoreDakka: During his tantrums he is very prone to pulling two machineguns out of {{Hammerspace}} and start shooting wildly.
* NoIndoorVoice: Speaks extremely loudly, all the time.
* PsychopathicManchild: Due to having Negas's personality but without intelligence, memory retention or rationality he acts like a spoiled child and throws murderous temper tantrums when things don't go his way.
* TheReveal: He's a manifestation of Negas's bad emotions. The episode ''"El Origen"'' ("The Origin") reveals that a psychologist adviced Negas to bottle up his emotions instead of insulting people. Negas bottled up so much anger, that his blood intoxicated and mutated into the Pinchimono.
[[/folder]]

!!Don Makila
[[folder:Checker Cuckis]]
[[quoteright:175:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ayquericomeme.png]]
[[caption-width-right:175:''Ay, que rico!'' [[labelnote:note]]''Aww, so yummy!''[[/labelnote]]]]

The flamboyant manager of the maquila. He's also a shameless pervert who abuses his position to harass his male coworkers, Negas included.
----
* AbhorrentAdmirer. To Negas.
* BigThinShortTrio: With Ñoñostacio and Negas, being the thin and extroverted one.
* BookDumb: As noted by this exchange.
--> '''Checker:''' ''[after Negas faints due to bottling up his anger for too much]'' ''Aww, poor Negas! What happened to him?''
--> '''Ñoñostacio:''' ''The doctors had to do an hemodialysis on him, Checker.''
--> '''Checker:''' ''Aww, no! He'll become emo!''
* CampGay: Well, duh.
* CatchPhrase:
** ''Ay que rico!'' (''Aww, so yummy!'')
** ''Error! Error! Error!'' in a singsong voice, anytime he rejects a report.
* DoubleStandardRapeMaleOnMale: Has sexually harrassed his coworkers more than once, as Negas, Ñoñostacio, interns and even Paulo can attest to. It's all PlayedForLaughs though.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: The first thing he does in his debut appearance is fondle Negas's crotch.
* EvilIsPetty: In his debut episode, Checker rejects Negas's report, but claims he can approve it if he has sex with him. When a disgusted Negas declines, Checker gets mad and rejects his report anyway.
* FreudianExcuse: Played for laughs. He used to be an averange innocent child, until Music/MichaelJackson lured him to a van with promises of candy. Fortunately, Franchise/RoboCop killed him before he could molest Checker. Meanwhile, the boy found a collection of {{Literature/Twilight}} films and saw them all in a day...turning him into the CampGay he is now.
* HeManWomanHater: Despite acting like a LovableSexManiac towards men, he's actually very indifferent and repulsed by girls.
-->''"Aww, no! Pineapple is for pussies! I [[DoubleEntendre don't play with pussies]], aww no! Kinkies kinkies bye!"''
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite abusing his position to get sexual favors from coworkers, he's very nice when not trying to seduce any male he encounters. He's also kind to old people and appears distraught when Negas collapses due to bottling everything up in the episode ''"El Origen"'' ("The Origin").
* KarmaHoudini: Played for laughs, but thanks to his high position at the maquila, he can harass his coworkers without facing any sort of punishment.
* ObstructiveBureaucrat: Whenever an employee asks him for anything, he will be as unhelpful as possible and proceed to throw innuendos.
--> '''Checker:''' ''Aww, you see. I forgot to erase your report.''
--> '''Negas:''' ''What?! Fuck you!''
--> '''Checker:''' ''Aww, yes. I do that a lot.''
* LovableSexManiac
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Surprisingly, in ''"Dia del Niño"'' (''"Children’s Day"'') he was a sweet and innocent kid, until the day he was almost molested by Music/MichaelJackson. And saw the ''Literature/{{Twilight}}'' films.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Paulo Chinguetas]]
[[quoteright:175:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/psolfdrs.png]]
[[caption-width-right:175:''Aururururu'']]

The boss of the maquila. He is [[StupidBoss dumb]], sometimes descending to ditz levels, and utterly sociopathic. Has the ability to appear everywhere, combined with an "aururururu" sound.

----
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: For the first appearances he was a typical MeanBoss, mean and uncaring but not exactly stupid. It took him awhile for his familiar personality to emerge.
* {{Expy}}: If Negas is a ComicStrip/{{Dilbert}} expy, then Paulo is an expy of the Pointy-Haired Boss.
* FatBastard: He has a noticeable gut and is a dumb and sociopathic boss who is often mean to his employees.
* HypocriticalHeartwarming: While he exploits and abuses Ñoñostacio, he also really doesn't like when other people are mean to him, coming around and defending him.
* MeanBoss: Mostly in earlier sketches.
* MeaningfulName: His surname tells you all you need to know about him.
* NeverMyFault: Is utterly incapable of realizing or admitting he actually might be wrong. Even in instances where Negas has pointed out that he has done something wrong, he'll claim he misheard him.
* ObstructiveBureaucrat: Mainly used to prevent his subordinates from getting healthy raises or promotions, which are prohibited by the company.
** And then did a whole footage film comparing Wapper and Negas's work at the company just to give the former a promotion "for being so hot" and to laugh at Negas's angry face.
* JerkassHasAPoint: For all of his domineering and belittling behavior towards Negas, his points about him being an unfriendly, cynic worker are valid, what with his usual behavior.
* PetTheDog: When Negas and Ñoñostacio get promoted to the Everest (long story) and they end up working for the abusive Yankee Boss, Paulo seems genuinely concerned about how Ñoñostacio is doing.
* PointyHairedBoss: He is more concerned with himself than with his job, and he doesn't seem to realize how much trouble he causes for everyone. Moreover, his incompetency caused several cases of embarrassing moments. His behavior toward subordinates could also qualify as harassment in some cases (such as picking on Negas ForTheLulz and the implications that he had sex with Checker and Ñoñostacio).
* ThinkingUpPortals: Has the ability to pop out and appear everywhere.
* TookALevelInKindness: Downplayed. While he's not as mean as he was in the series' earlier years, this has more to do with his previous cruelty being dulled by apathy than actually becoming a nicer person.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ñoñostacio]]
[[quoteright:175:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/oostacio.png]]

An easygoing OccidentalOtaku who likes watching anime and making references nobody understands. He has genius-level IQ, but is naïve when it comes to the company's bureaucracy and incompetence. He's also too nice and forgiving for his own good, which is why everyone takes advantage of him.

----
* BigThinShortTrio: With Negas and Checker, being the fat and good-natured one.
* ExtremeDoormat: Constantly apologizes for the smallest of things and rarely stands up for himself, to the point Paulo calls him ''"My Exploitable Bitch Number 1"''.
* {{Fanboy}}: Of [[ShowWithinAShow Monchiro]].
* {{Foreshadowing}}: In ''"Tarea"'' he has basketball posters in his room despite liking anime. Many episodes later, it's revealed he was in a little league when he was a child.
* FormerlyFit: Surprisingly, in ''"Dia del Niño"'' he was an outgoing school jock. Until one day a vendor tried to sell them some ''Anime/YuGiOh'' cards and convinced him that he would be succesful at life if he collected them all. Afterwards, he becomes a slobbish OccidentalOtaku.
* MeaningfulName: "Ñoño" means weaboo in Mexican slang.
* MrExposition: Possesses near encyclopaedic level intellect. So he'll often provide the viewer and the other characters with detailed analysis of their current situation.
* NiceGuy: Despite his faults, he's very amiable and will help everyone, even to his own detriment. To the point Negas eventually warms up to him, even if he considers him a loser.
* ProfessionalButtkisser: Tends to obediently carry out orders with little to no complaint, which is why Paulo favors him over Negas.
* ThePollyanna: Poor guy always struggles to be an optimist in the CrapsackWorld he lives in.
* SlaveToPR: Wants to be liked by everyone, which results in him going along with everyone's whims. Hell, when he was a child he became from an athletic jock to a slobbish otaku because a vendor claimed that people would like him more that way!
* TokenGoodTeammate: Out of the maquila, Ñoñostacio is probably the most well-adjusted and better natured because he's not a sexual harasser (unlike Checker), not angry about his lot in life (unlike Negas), and he's altruistic (unlike Paulo).
* VitriolicBestBuds: Develops this with Negas. He often mocks his "weabooness", but they do get along rather well, with Negas willingly hanging out with him and playing games together.

[[/folder]]

!!Raltoon
[[folder:Ral]]
[[quoteright:175:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ralj.png]]
[[caption-width-right:175:''Hola amigo!'' [[labelnote:note]]''Hello buddy!''[[/labelnote]]]]

Negas's younger brother. A cheerful schoolboy who goes into non-sensical adventures with his best friends Keto and Ranito. He was the original main character of R.A.L's videos, until Negas proved to be a EnsembleDarkhorse, leaving Ral OutOfFocus until he stopped appearing.

----
* AmbiguousSituation: His exact relation to Negas. In ''Raltoon'' they're brothers, but in a 2016 interview R.A.L says they're not related and Ral is Negas' GoodCounterpart instead. Ral insists on treating him like family though.
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Negas is indifferent towards Ral and makes no effort to connect with him.
* ApatheticStudent: Ral is shown to not really care about school at all, often skipping class with his friends and doing God knows what.
* AuthorAvatar: While Ral is based on R.A.L as a child, Negas is based on his adult self. They even share his BigOlEyebrows and love for ''Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles''.
* BigOlEyebrows: Just like his brother.
* BookDumb: Has bad ortography and often copypastes essays for his homework.
* CatchPhrase: Frecuently ends his phrases with "Amigo" (Buddy).
* CharacterTics: Makes a ''Ploop'' noise everytime he blinks.
* CheerfulChild: Ral is unrelentlessly carefree despite most of the stuff that happens to him.
* InsistentTerminology: He refers to the school as "schooley".
--> '''Negas:''' ''Ral! Ral, hurry up. You're gonna be late for school!''
--> '''Ral:''' ''Schooley, buddy.''
--> '''Negas:''' ''Why do you call it schooley? It's school. School. SCHOOL!''
--> '''Ral:''' ''Schooley, buddy.''
--> '''Negas:''' ''....Whatever, you're late. Just go.''
* InappropriateRoleModel: A common gag is for him to idolize and receive mentorship from awful people, most commonly Keto.
* SharedFamilyQuirks: Just like Negas, Ral adores ''Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles''. He also can be as selfish and dismissive as him.
* OutOfFocus: You'd be forgiven if you didn't know that poor Ral was supposed to be the main character of R.A.L's video animations....only to get overshadowed by more popular characters like his sarcastic older brother. To the point his series got cancelled in favor of Negas.
* PuppyDogEyes: His default look.
* PracticallyDifferentGenerations: He's an elementary schooler, and his brother is a salaryman in his late twenties.
* SiblingYinYang: With the sarcastic and neurotic Negas.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: He looks like a child version of his brother.
* TookALevelInJerkass: Starts out as a sweet, well-meaning kid but over the course of the story he becomes as apathetic as Negas, yet still keeping his cheerful disposition.
* VerbalTic: He calls "buddy" to every person he meets.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Keto]]

One of Ral's best friends. A bratty kid with a mean streak, he's also an otaku with Nazi ideas.
----
* BookDumb: The biggest one in the series.
* BrattyHalfPint: To contrast with the easygoing Ral and the shy Ranito.
* {{Expy}}: An obvious one of Kiko from ''Series/ElChavoDelOcho''. Hell, in his first appearance he mistakes Ral for el Chavo!
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: According to WordOfGod, he acts like a rebel for attention, with Ral and Ranito being the only ones who can stand him.
* RuleAbidingRebel: He's always preaching about anarchy and doing vandalism for no reason at all. But for all his attempts to come out with things that are overly cynical, edgy or controversial, nothing he says seems to be all that out there and he's mostly ignored.
* SuddenlyShouting: Generally when he's being ignored - he says one part of the sentence at his regular tone, and the rest at the top of his lungs.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ranito]]

A shy frog humanoid, who's one of Ral's best friends.
----
* AnimalMotifs: Guess.
* ADogNamedDog: A frog named Ranito [[labelnote:note]]''"Froggy" in Spanish''[[/labelnote]].
* HiddenDepths: He's more school-smart compared to Ral and Keto. Though he still gets bad grades because the teacher is a racist.
* RunningGag: The teacher never lets him in, so Ranito always has to enter the classroom by entering the ducts.
* ShrinkingViolet: He's very shy and reserved. Considering he's considered an outcast at school for being a frogboy, you can't blame him.
* TheStoic: Like water off a frog's back, nothing really fazes him and his expression rarely changes.

[[/folder]]

!!Poppa Peg
[[folder:Poppa Peg]]
One of two main protagonists of the videos. She's a little bratty pig who has no respect for men or anyone but herself in particular.
----
* AdaptationalJerkass: Peppa at her worst is simply bratty and entitled as most children can be, Poppa on the other hand is a vile jerkass who enjoys to insult her father for his shortcomings.
* BigSisterBully: Calls her brother Jorge Excremento.
* KarmicButtMonkey: She is often at the brunt of physical violence, but it is often satisfying.
* TheyKilledKennyAgain: Dies in all episodes she's featured in.
* NeverMyFault: Anything and everything wrong with her life can be blamed on misogyny.
* SmugSnake: In spades.
* StrawFeminist: Although not the stereotypical man-hater type. Instead, Poppa is an illogical hypocrite who uses sexism as a scapegoat.
* TheUnfavorite: Her father favors Jorge over her, especially due to how unpleasant it is dealing with her.
* UngratefulBitch: Expects her family to do big favors for her and never shows full gratefulness for it. Even when she appears to do so, she easily switches to complaining when something hasn't been done right or even screws them over.
* UnsympatheticComedyProtagonist: She is self-centered, full of herself, and just plain mean-spirited and hypocritical all around. So when whatever she's doing blow up in her face and leave her thoroughly humiliated, it's all too easy to laugh at her misfortune.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Papa Cerdito]]
Poppa's dad and an utterly grumpy hateful man who loathes his family and isn't too keen on keeping them alive when pushed far enough.
----
* AdaptationalJerkass: Is grumpier and meaner than the canon Daddy Pig, though it is possible that it's only because of the sheer WorldOfJerkass he lives in.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Perfectly content to murder his family when they make fun of him for too long or go too far in their insults.
* MoralityPet: While he cares about Mama Cerdito and Jorge, he won't hesitate to kill them if they push him too hard.
[[/folder]]

!!Niño Ratta
[[folder:Niño Ratta]]
[[quoteright:235:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nioratta.png]]
[[caption-width-right:235:''Te voi a jakear'' [[labelnote:note]]''I'm gunna hack ya''[[/labelnote]]]]

Real name Rodolfo Gonzalez, Niño Ratta is a 13-year-old boy who adores playing Minecraft, watching youtubers and doing lame memes on the Internet. Basically an average boy. He declares himself to be the best gamer and hacker ever. Far from the truth, however, he is actually a geek who sucks at everything he does.
----
* AbusiveParents: Played with.
** His mother is very lenient and spoils him rotten, but secretly resents him for ruining her first marriage.
** His stepfather beats him and is very strict with him, but deep down he just wants Rodolfo to toughen up.
* BoisterousWeakling: He declares himself to be the best gamer and hacker ever... he is actually far from the truth.
* BookDumb: Has poor grades, due to his obsession with videogames.
* BreakoutCharacter: To the point he got his own series and became a memetic character around his country. A first for anyone who is not Negas.
* ButtMonkey: Rodolfo's cocky attitude combined with his relatively childish incompetence means he often ends up in humiliating situations.
* CatchPhrase: "Te boi a jakear" ("I'm gunna hack ya")
* CharacterTics: Makes a grunting noise when he is overthinking.
* CheerfulChild: Rodolfo is a happy and cheerful child, despite the number of hardships he's been through, including his biological father abandoning him, his stepfather's beatings and his mother's....decaying mental state.
* IronicName: In ''Bebe Babas'' it's revealed his biological father named him Rodolfo because it means "the one who triumphs". Yeah, him.
* LoonyFan: Towards the Spanish youtuber [[https://www.youtube.com/user/vegetta777 Vegetta 777]].
%%* MostGamersAreMale
* OddFriendship: With his cousin, Niño Ottaco.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: His real name is Rodolfo Gonzalez.
* ShoutOut: His name and design are inspired by [[WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons Bart Simpson]], specifically from the episode ''[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS6E17HomerVsPattyAndSelma Homer Vs. Patty and Selma]]'' where Homer briefly sees him as a humanoid rat creature, that he calls "Rat Boy" ("Niño Rata" in the Spanish dub). This version of Bart has become a huge meme on the Spanish-speaking internet, and has come to refer to obnoxious gamer kids.
* StepfordSmiler: According to WordOfGod. Considering all the stuff he goes through....
* TooDumbToLive: He gets in very dangerous situations that always get him into trouble, such as accidentally killing his grandfather by putting energy drink in his intravenous drip, or throwing himself from a window to chase after a (pressumably imaginary) ManicPixieDreamGirl. Fortunately for him, DeathIsCheap in the Negasverse.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Doritos and Vive 100 (an energetic drink similar to Red Bull).
* UnsympatheticComedyProtagonist: Rodolfo is selfish, arrogant, dumb, and all-around obnoxious. His antics are so extreme that the constant abuse by Don Cuco actually come off as being warranted half the time.
* VerbalTic: Ends his sentences with "papu" ("bruh").

Rodolfo's stepfather. A violent and alcholic man who is always full of debts, has an unhealthy obsession with drinking Jack Daniels (which he insist in calling "Yakelino") and is very strict with Rodolfo.
----
* AbusiveParents: A RunningGag in the first episodes is that he often beats Rodolfo. Sometimes for justified reasons and sometimes because he can.
* AnimalMotifs: His name and appearance make him resemble a cockroach.
* CatchPhrase: "Que chingados estas haciendo, puta!?" ("What the hell are you doing now, bitch?!")
* DarkAndTroubledPast: In "El Origen del Yakelino", it is revealed that Macoro used to be a church boy and the priest there was an abusive alcholic who often beat the churchboys and forced them to sing the "Yakelino" song for him.
* DrowningMySorrows: According to WordOfGod.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: In ''Opposite Day'' he's shown dancing joyfully after Rodolfo puked to death. Then again, it was Opposite Day, hinting that he cares about his stepson more than he'd care to admit. In later episodes it's revealed he doesn't actually hate Rodolfo, just seeing him as a dumb kid that needs to toughen up.
* HiddenDepths: The YOUNOW shorts and the "Adventuratta 777" segments show that he is actually a cool and friendly guy, just that he is always full on debts and Rodolfo always gets on his nerves.
* JerkassHasAPoint:
** His beatings of his stepson are always well deserved, with Rodolfo recklessly spending money for his whims.
** In ''Dia del Padre'' he rejects Rodolfo's shabby card, and while he is a complete dick about how he should put more effort in giving Father's Day presents, what he says indeed rings true. Rodolfo actually concedes the point.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Don Cuco is incredibly harsh to Rodolfo. He regularly insults him and even almost killed him in one instance. However he admits in later episodes and the YOUNOW shorts that it's all an effort to get Rodolfo to become more independent, but he veers toward being an AbusiveParent a little too much.
* LargeHam: Especially whenever he's angry.
* {{Leitmotif}}: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbIjn2rSmWI "Yakelino"]].
* ManlyTears: After Niño Ratta accidentally kills the grandfather in el "Papubuelo" episode.
** In the "Piza piza" episode, after he finds the box of cold pizza left by Ratta, he cries tears of happiness.
---> ''"Cold pizza?! It's the best day of my life!"''
* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: He is prone to give them to Rodolfo every time. The only time he stopped, is because the kid appeased him with a bottle of beer.
* NotSoAboveItAll: In the "La Adventuratta 777" segments, it's revealed that he took a liking to Minecraft, and he sometimes plays it in his stepson's PC.
* ThisIsForEmphasisBitch: Most of his dialogue, especially when talking with Rodolfo.
* PetTheDog: Ocasionally shows some fondness for Rodolfo in his own, twisted way:
** In ''Turbo Man'' he gets him the [[Film/JingleAllTheWay Turbo Man]] action figure his biological dad didn't get him, apparently after stealing it from Santa Claus.
** In ''Father's Day'', after Rodolfo gives him Sabritones and beer as a present he tells him "I appreciate your faggotry, bitch", so that he will stop crying.
* ToughLove: Don Cuco doesn't necessarily believe in being nice to Rodolfo, having no issue with rouging him up to shape.
---> ''"I'll give him his beating tomorrow so he'll stop being a whiny bitch!"''
* UsedToBeASweetKid: As shown in the "El Origen del Yakelino" episode, he used to be a church boy.

Niño Ratta's mother. A bumbling mother who spoils her son, but she is actually a disturbed woman who is always contemplating on commiting suicide and gets wasted on detergent.
----
* AteHisGun: Her favorite method for killing herself.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: It's revealed in "Bebé Babas" that she was originally HappilyMarried to her husband until he got fed up with baby Rodolfo constant slurping. Afterwards, she stopped caring about everything.
* DrivenToSuicide: She considers offing herself in all episodes she's featured. In some, she actually succeeds.
* DrunkOnMilk: Apparently she inhales ''detergent'' as a drug.
* ExtremeDoormat: According to WordOfGod, and it shows. She's treated like crap by her husband, her ex-husband and sometimes even by her own son.
* GISSyndrome: She's the most blatant example in the series' StylisticSuck. Look at the picture and you'll notice her dress has a ''Shutterstock watermark''.
* HiddenDepths: In "El Mapa + Pro", turns out she (and her sister) can be incredibly good at Fortnite if they offer a reward.
* LampreyMouth: She's opened her mouth on a couple of ocassions, revealing a creepy circle of fangs, along with letting out an inhuman roar. Nobody seems to mind when she does.
* {{Leitmotif}}: When she's happy, D-Devil's ''Dance With The Devil'' starts playing.
* OffingTheOffspring: In some episodes, she'll kill Rodolfo after his antics start annoying everyone too much.
* ThousandYardStare: Her default look.
* TheVoiceless: She never talks, only featuring a [[HellIsThatNoise creepy static noise]] everytime she's around.

Real name Adolfo Gonzales, Niño Otacco is Niño Ratta's cousin. An OccidentalOtaku who loves anime as much as his cousin loves video games.
----
* AmazinglyEmbarrassingParents: His father is always trying to act TotallyRadical and his mother is a fundamentalist woman who often goes to church. And posts embarrassing [[WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes Tweety]] stickers in her son's Facebook account.
* ButtMonkey: He's mistreated by everyone around him. Rodolfo doesn't like having him around and only uses him (though they become TrueCompanions in later episodes). While Don Cuco and even his own father consider him a nuisance.
* CatchPhrase: "Nande? Nande dattebayo?" Whenever he is upset.
* CheerfulChild
* {{Cosplay}}: He wears a Franchise/{{Naruto}} headband and pants, a Franchise/DeathNote t-shirt and a Franchise/FullMetalAlchemist necklace.
* GratuitousJapanese: Natch. He loves using stereotypical anime phrases.
* {{Leitmotif}}: His appearance is marked by a brief snippet from "The World", the first opening to ''Anime/DeathNote''
* LovableCoward: Adolfo always tries to do his best to help and support Niño Ratta, but when he gets into serious trouble (such as being on the verge of death or about to be beaten by Don Cuco) he decides he'd rather not.
* NiceGuy: He is nicer and more polite than his cousin. That doesn't make him any less disliked InUniverse. though.
* OddFriendship: With his cousin, Niño Ratta.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: His real name is Adolfo Gonzalez.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Pockys.
* TheUnfavorite: His father cares more about his cousin than him and thinks Adolfo is a worthless loser. Mostly because he thinks Rodolfo's "hacking" abilities are much more impressive than they really are.
