* [[ButNotTooBi But Not Too Pan]]: Although in the RFA Orientation Guidebook he identifies himself as bisexual, no mention is ever made of it in-game. The only real hints we get is that he makes the occasional gay jokes, but seeing as he makes fun of just about [[StepfordSmiler anything]], those don't hold much weight.

* RedandBlackAndEvilAllOver: In the original story, his attire consists mainly of red and black clothing and he's an antagonist. [[spoiler: He wasn't always evil, however.]]

* OnlySaneMan: By far the most reasonable of the RFA members (other than V, with whom she rarely interacts) ...except when it comes to Zen's acting, which she's fanatical about. This trait of hers shows up quite strongly in the choices necessary to enter her route: she likes a main character who is optimistic and hard-working, but sensible and careful. She claims that nothing special has ever happened to her, and is the only one in RFA who is rightly cautious at the beginning of the main routes, which makes sense because you're a total stranger entering a locked, private server and living in their dead [[spoiler: (not actually)]] friend's apartment under extremely suspicious and mysterious circumstances, and whereas everyone else warms to you pretty quickly, you have to put in a little work to get her to begin trusting you.

* PunchClockVillain: At the end of the day, all Vanderwood wants is to survive working for the agency, [[spoiler: and when Seven offers him an escape, he takes it.]]
* TheSpook: As an agent, his prior identity has been erased and he no longer uses his birth name.
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Seven. He may threaten to taser him and nag him to do his work [[spoiler: and once tries to kill him]], but [[spoiler: he does become genuinely panicked when Seven gets shot in the Secret Ending and does everything he can to keep him awake and alive, even telling him that his life would be ruined if he saw Seven die.]]

The only canonical traits she has is that she's a girl, lives in Korea (or at least was there at some point), her mom is alive, loves fried wings [[spoiler:as seen in one of the bad endings in Another Story]] and according to the illustrations, has long brown hair and pale skin.

* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: [[spoiler:V asks if "Rika" is her real name in the flashback that shows their first meeting. She confirms that it's not, but doesn't say what her real name actually is. Within Mint Eye, she is only ever referred to as "[[DarkMessiah Savior]]"]].

If you do so (and continuously side with her and Mint Eye over V), instead of getting jealous of you, Rika ''chooses'' you over V. * BitchInSheepsClothing: [[spoiler: Before the start of the game she acted like a benevolent, loving person who would never hurt a soul, meanwhile she was [[DomesticAbuse severely emotionally and physically abusing V behind closed doors.]] The members of the RFA have only nice things to say about her because for all they know, she was a wonderful woman who died tragically. The lie crumbles the deeper you get into the route progression.]]

* DomesticAbuse: [[spoiler:Rika injured V's eyes and told him that if he really loved her, he would just accept it and go blind; that's why he's refused treatment ever since. It's also implied that she tortured him while he was in Mint Eye due to her belief that V didn't really care about her or her goals.]]
