* AmbiguouslyChristian: Unlike [[spoiler:his brother, Saeyoung, who is explicitly stated to have been born into an irreligious household and initially didn't believe in God and converted to Catholicism later, Saeran]]/Unknown's exact relationship with religion (aside from his explicit affiliation with Mint Eye)—Christinaity and Catholicism specifically— is a bit trickier to pinpoint. He most likely [[spoiler: also was originally irreligious, and after learning about Catholicism through Seven, he grew an interest in church. Saeran does say around that time that he does believe in God and prays to Him sometimes, and later he does attend Mass with V and Rika.]] That being said, in the Secret Ending, he says that he doesn't know if God exists or not, suggesting he is agnostic. Additionally, one of Seven's bad endings has Unknown yell at Seven "Why don't you ask that righteous God of yours?!", which seems to imply that Unknown holds some contempt towards Christianity/Catholicsm (though it could also be related to both his loyalty to Mint Eye and[[spoiler: his disdain for anything related to Seven.]]) However, Another Story (which takes place about two years prior to the above), it's a little different. Depending on the dialogue option chosen, while talking to the MC on day 10 of his route, after [[spoiler:escaping Magenta and doing some work to find Seven, he makes a comment saying he believes God is on his side helping him (though he also wonders if Seven purposefully left details for Saeran to find) and in his After Ending, he does imply he believes in guardian angels, Heaven and an afterlife.]] Still, it isn't explicitly confirmed if he is Catholic or another Christian, holds some spiritual beliefs but is not affiliated with any religion, might've just been speaking metaphorically, or something else.

* FormalCharactersUseKeigo: A Korean variation - she noticeably always speaks in a very formal and polite business speech pattern, even to those younger than her like Zen, 707, and Yoosung. This marks her as a serious and professional person and also shows how she lacks any personal connection with the RFA members besides being Jumin's assistant. In her own route, she will adopt a more casual speech pattern as she grows closer to the MC, but it's still notably polite.

* CaringGardener: Played with. In his backstory, [[spoiler:Saeran's interest in gardening and flowers started before his induction to Mint Eye, when he was the gentle and timid boy he originally was.]] In Another Story, Ray is the person most interested in gardening, as he's in change of maintaining Magenta's garden and often will gift flowers to and talk about the language of the flowers to the player character. However, while Ray is the most affable and passive of [[spoiler:Saeran's personalities, he's still not unambigously good; he's a cultist who lied to and kidnapped (through deception) the player character, harbors a deep resentment towards both his brother Saeyoung and V (whom in V's route, he gives a version of the elixir modified to be even more painful specifically for V); and in the bad endings for Another Story's prologue and common route, as well as V's route, he's shown that he will stalk the MC or force her to drink the elixir if he suspects that she doesn't agree with Mint Eye's ideals nor wants to stay with him.]] His [[spoiler:his isolated and abusive upbringing and him being forcibly brainwashed by Mint Eye]] makes a lot of his actions fall even more into morally ambiguous territory. Later in his own route, [[spoiler:when he is brainwashed back into the Unknown from Casual Story/Deep Story, he's not shown doing any gardening and says to the MC he doesn't get Ray's interest in flowers.]] Though given that [[spoiler:he was trying to follow Rika's ideas of what being "strong" is, it's pretty likely he was just trying to deny his interest in them due to seeing them as weak.]] Unknown in Casual Story/Deep Story is never seen gardening, nor is any interest in it mentioned. In Ray's good and normal ending and his After Ending, this trope is played completely straight, with Saeran at that point being [[spoilers: consistently kind, gentle and forgiving]] and his love of gardening and flowers being very prevelant, to the point where [[spoiler:in the normal ending of his After Ending and some Google Docs events Cheritz has done, it's shown he now has a greenhouse.]]

He works with Rika and drugs the whole RFA so that they'll be knocked out for a few days, and even when he's rescued Seven, he and Rika keep him trapped in their home with plans to also trap Ray there too forever so they can "bring back the happier times."]]
