A small, shy, teal-haired lass originally from a rural farming community known as Ohma in the land of Crimea, in [[FireEmblemTellius Tellius]]. She is the eldest of six children, and took over her family's farm not too long ago. In order to protect her family, she enlisted in the village militia during the Mad King's War in Path of Radiance, and was captured shortly after by Daein troops. When Commander Ike, the Lord of the game, saved her, she swore her allegiance to the Princess Elincia, and vowed to do all she could to help her regain the throne. Nephenee also helped Ike in Radiant Dawn, moving her family to Melior, Crimea's capitol, after the 2nd war.
Did we also mention she is a lot stronger than she seems? Because she is. When Nephenee is given bonus experience to help her catch up to other units at the beginning, she very quickly becomes capable of not only holding her own, but decimating the opponent forces. All of which is not at all obvious by the way she handles people, which is to say, she is extremely timid due to low self-esteem and fear of being mocked for her rural speech and mannerisms.
