* DirtyCoward: As soon as he loses control, he reveals how much of a coward he is.

* HateSink: A smug cowardly slaver. The guy is a fusion of Abel's, Zevahn's and Escobar's worst traits, with a dose of DirtyCoward added to the mix. He seems to have been designed to be even more hateful than Abel himself. [[spoiler:There is, however, more to him.]]
* SmugSnake: When he thinks he is in control, he oozes smugness. He's far from being competent or strong enough to back up his claims however...

Creid Maeus' lieutenant.

* BlackSheep: Her mother is actually fighting against the slave trade. Sojourner is one of its main enforcers.
* TheDragon: For Creid Maeus.
* IHaveBoobsYouMustObey: She managed to escape Llyr by using her feminine assets.
* SmugSnake: Just like her boss. Although she, at least, is strong enough to give a somewhat decent boss fight to the team.

!!Naamari/Dr. Dario Naumov
The true antagonist of the game, who only reveals himself in the GoldenPath. An ambassador and ex-boyfriend of Yliandra, he supposedly got assasinated by Gerard, sparking the events of the story. It is later revealed that he deliberately sparked the war to change Corlia's story into something more exiting.

In the real world, he was Corlia's doctor/therapist at the asylum she was sent to. As they bonded over her storytelling, he fell in love with her. His love, however, was unreciprocated, and he hated the role he was assigned by Corlia, and he thought her story in general was crap. Feeling rejected, disappointed, and all-around hurt, he decided to take over Corlia’s story for himself.

* BigBad: He's the one manipulating both factions to keep the story going and cause war for his own amusement.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: He presents himself as a sane ReasonableAuthorityFigure, but is in reality a petty ManipulativeBastard.
* CharClone: The BigBad type. Pale white hair, domino mask, FallenHero, manipulates both sides of a war for his benifit, OmnicidalManiac... he’s basically a less sympathetic [[Anime/MobileSuitGundamSeed Rau Le Creuset]].
* DisappointedByTheMotive: His reason for changing the story of Corlia's world and throwing it into chaos? Not an understandable goal like getting home- but because he thought her story was bad (even though it was only her first one) and he didn't like the role he was assigned, and he was sour that Corlia didn't reciprocate his [[{{Yandere}} feelings]]. Channing gives him a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech over how lame it is.
* TheDogWasTheMastermind: The SacrificialLamb is actually the true BigBad of the game.
* EvilIsPetty: As Channing puts it, he's at heart both [[RageAgainstTheAuthor a disgruntled fanboy throwing a hissy fit because the book he was reading wasn't what he wanted]] and [[{{Yandere}} a pathetic loser who couldn't accept the fact that a woman didn't love him back]].
* FallenHero: From a psychologist trying to help Corlia overcome her issues to a delusional and petty lunatic who is far worse than she ever was in the sanity department.
* FlorenceNightingaleEffect: Dr. Dario Naumov was Corlia's therapist and, although he does try to deny it, he ended up developping feelings for his patient when she reached adulthood. Sadly, it went to {{Yandere}} levels.
* LiteralSplitPersonality: He, Bellahan and Zevahn are actually the three vessels of the same person, Dr. Dario Naumov. They do have distinct personalities though.
* LoveMakesYouEvil: He ended up developing feelings for Corlia in the real world, but she didn't love him back. It's one of the main reasons why he threw Lunarosse into chaos and changed Corlia's story.
* MalevolentMaskedMen: A domino mask. Though he initially seems like an aversion, he is in fact the mastermind behind the war.
* OneWingedAngel: As the FinalBoss of the GoldenPath, he takes on a monstruous form by fusing with Zevahn and Bellahan, his other vessels.
* PsychoPsychologist: His real identity is Corlia's therapist- and he destroys her story out of petty revenge that [[{{Yandere}} she didn't love him back]], never mind how unprofessional doctor-patient relationships are.
* RageAgainstTheAuthor: InUniverse example. His reason for waking Corlia in his own way was partially due to outrage as to how his character was portrayed in her story.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Seemingly this, especially compared to Abel, as he's not hostile towards the demi-humans he's supposed to make peace with. The GoldenPath later reveals that it was all an act.
* SacrificialLamb: His death is what makes the peace treaty fail and sparks the main plot. [[SubvertedTrope It later turns out]] that [[FakingTheDead he faked it.]]
* SmallRoleBigImpact: At first. He dies quickly, but his actions deeply affect the plot, as he hides the key of the Dreadnought and the Faction spends a good part of the game looking for it. It's revealed in the GoldenPath that he actually survived and willingly altered Corlia's story.
* SpannerInTheWorks: And willingly- his fake death at the peace treaty actually completely changes Corlia's story and alters the events of the game big time, as he intended.
* WalkingSpoiler: The GoldenPath shows his true involvement in the events of the game as the BigBad.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: With Yliandra, hence the reason why he was chosen to bring her the peace treaty. He used to be a part of the White Sun Order, like her. He was also her therapist in the real world. Of course, he was likely using her.
* WhiteHairBlackHeart: As can be seen in his sprite and image, he has white hair, and he turns out to be the BigBad.

* ForTheEvulz[=/=]ItAmusedMe: About half of the things he does, especially if it involves trolling someone. He also claims that this trope is his motivation to [[spoiler:make sure that Corlia keeps dreaming her ConstructedWorld]].

And, like Kefka, he is manipulating the Empire’s leader for his own ends [[spoiler:and is the FinalBoss... [[SplitPersonalityMerge sorta]]]].

* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: He calls the homosexual [[spoiler:Noel]] an "abomination to God and all His creations" via an illusion of Channing, then implies several times that a real man should love women.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: He looks like a human, but serves Yliandra's non-human faction. (And it's stated that the civilians of its town would lynch humans on sight.) It's never explicitly stated if he's the TokenHuman of the Faction or a human-looking non-human. [[spoiler:It's eventually revealed that he's the LiteralSplitPersonality of Dario Naumov, a human, so he's probably a human.]]

* CorruptCorporateExecutive: He's implied to have ties with the slave market. [[spoiler:Later in the game, it's revealed that he's actually behind the attacks of the Ponaredek against the merpeople, who kidnaps mermaids and mermen so he can harvest their tears, which transform into pearls. And he feeds those who refuse to obey to the Ponaredek.]]

And he's sometimes right when he criticizes Channing's decisions... like thinking that they can slay a Kraken. The same can be said about his attitude about Valencia's debt. Sure, he didn't leave Carmen much choice. But on the same time, he wants to recover his money. [[spoiler:{{Subverted}} later, when we find out the true extent of his malevolence]].
** JerkassHasAPoint: No, Channing. He's right. Fighting a powerful Kraken is a very bad idea.

He then decides to continue his mission for the Faction, arguing that Bellahan would destroy Sabatini if he didn't give him the relic]].

* ProperlyParanoid: Soon after Channing and his team join the Mnemosyne Company, he notices that one of the medals was thrown into the see and concludes that a mole must have infiltrated the Company and is trying to help the Lunarosse Empire find their hideout. It turns out that [[spoiler:the thrown medal was a RedHerring, since it was Ashley's, who panicked when she met her sister Marina and threw it into the see in order to not be unmasked]]. However, this reveal only comes after the discovery that [[spoiler:there really ''was'' a traitor: Noel, when controlled by his SuperPoweredEvilSide]], making his paranoia more justified. (Although Zevahn disagrees with the last part.)
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: He's a good leader. Even when he's confronted with the reveal of [[spoiler:Gerard's identity as Noel's SuperPoweredEvilSide]], he keeps his self-control and doesn't try to kill him on sight.

* BreakingTheFourthWall: The stories she reads and mentions are often suspiciously close to real life works. [[spoiler:It's actually a hint that Lunarosse is a ConstructedWorld in-universe]].

* GenkiGirl: An hyperactive otaku.

* ShipTease: With Esau. They are really close and share some moments. During the peace conference with Yliandra, Carmen doesn't mind to sleep in the same room than him. From his part, Esau is always supportive of her and even promises to her mother that he will protect her. [[spoiler:And let's not forget her distress when Esau took the bullet for her]]. They also spend the party of the Winter Solstice together. In Phillip's opinion, she is past the "Tease" part.
* SinisterScythe: Her weapon. PlayedWith in the sense that there is nothing sinister about her.
