The only time its status as animal becomes relevant is during the fight against Prosciutto and Pesci when the latter finds Coco Jumbo's droppings and Mista wonders if Coco Jumbo would be affected by The Grateful Dead's Stand ability before noting that turtles usually live longer than humans.
