* TenMinuteRetirement: Forced on her by an irritated Clive. After a vigilante's brain causes her to take a risky, one-woman assault on a criminal warehouse, leading to her being injured and left unconscious, Clive says he's done working with her. Just one episode later, an actor on [[ShowWithinAShow Zombie High]] is killed and her [[{{Fangirl}} immense knowledge]] of it makes her useful enough that Clive agrees to partner up with her on exception. After solving the case together he just officially agrees to work with her again.

* ClingyJealousGirl: Has shades of this depending on the brain she is on, becoming extremely suspicious of Drake when he shows up late to dates, eventually going so far as to place a tracker on him while on scientist brain. She also accidentally becomes this to major when she unknowingly consumes the brain of a stalker.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: More seriously, his FriendToAllChildren nature means that any form of child abuse triggers him. At one point he [[CurbStomp Curb Stomps]] an abusive dad, knowing he might get in trouble for it, and when his former neighbors are murdered, he's more focused on avenging the son Wally, than his mother, whom he was romantically involved with.

* FriendlyNeighborhoodVampire: She gets her brains from the corpses that come into the morgue specifically so she won't go all monster-movie zombie and start harvesting from living victims. She also takes advantage of the side-effect of her brain-eating (a PsychicPowers-esque ability to see the victims' last memories) to solve their murders.

* VictimBlaming: In a confrontation, he says that Blaine wasn't miserable because he was beaten, but that he did beat Blaine because he was miserable, essentially going for the "You are making me do this defense". A little while before, he says that everything he has done has turned Blaine into a man with ambition. Blaine falls for neither of these and [[spoiler:traps him in the bottom of a well]].
