He also frequently sides with the bad guys to betray and/or sell out Kitaro and his companions. One has to wonder why they even keep hanging out with him.
* VitriolicBestBuds: With Kitaro. He and Kitaro usually butt heads on ideologies, but they're still mostly close friends and Kitaro always forgives him no matter how many times Nezumi Otoko turns against him.
