The heroine who continued the story of ''The Universe of the Four Gods'' after [[Manga/FushigiYuugiGenbuKaiden Takiko Okuda.]] Suzuno was a [[ChildhoodFriends playmate]] of Takiko ever since she had memories, and adores Takiko as her [[OneeSama big sister figure]]. At the beginning of this story, she was confused as to why Takiko was suddenly "married off" as explained by her father, [[NeverGotToSayGoodbye and disappeared from her life without giving her a proper farewell]]... Suzuno was absorbed into the ''The Universe of the Four Gods'' by the instruction of her father to escape The Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, [[WhamEpisode only 2 months after Takiko]].

* IllGirl: She was diagnosed with PTSD after the earthquake, and caught additional TraumaInducedAmnesia regarding the ''The Universe of the Four Gods''. Whenever she attempts to search for memories, her brain shuts on her; giving her painful headaches, tremors, anxiety, and fever. Oikawa would always ask her to be tucked in bed to rest, and give her a dose of anxiolytic to calm her down.
