As President of "New" L'Manburg, with his nation under threat by Dream and Tommy's "selfish" (at least [[TheNeedsOfTheMany from his view]]) actions putting everyone in danger, Tubbo had a falling out with his former best friend, and was forced to exile Tommy. Tubbo would come to miss Tommy greatly, and be manipulated by Dream into thinking that Dream was his friend. Tubbo, along with the rest of the Butcher Army would try and fail to execute Technoblade, and despite doubtful at first, agreed with Quackity in executing Dream at the Green Festival. He would also try to visit Tommy, but seeing Logstedshire destroyed and Tommy gone, presumed Tommy dead. Tubbo was shocked to see Tommy both alive and well but also helping Technoblade. At the Green Festival, Dream once again put L'Manberg under threat, with this time Dream backing down if Tubbo gave him one of Tommy's discs, Mellohi. Tommy would step in, and after fighting briefly, Tommy would leave Technoblade and reconcile with Tubbo. In the wake of L'Manberg's destruction, Tubbo would start a peaceful new nation in the north known as Snowchester (that secretly possed nuclear weapons) and help Tommy get his discs back once and for all, and although almost killed by Dream ended up winning, celebrating. \\

Tubbo would end up growing closer and even marrying and adopting a child with Ranboo, to the point where they seemed closer then even him and Tommy. He would also help Tommy with his Plan to Kill Dream, and would end up in conflict with Quackity and Las Nevadas over a massive fort created to spy on Las Nevadas created by Tubbo. Despite all of this, Tubbo still felt empty and purposeless, and when Quackity came to him with the offer of working for Las Nevadas, he accepted. Tubbo has since agreed to have the Cookie outpost become a part of Las Nevadas, but due to miscommunication, Ranboo (who is working for rival Paradise Burgers), thinking he had handed over the cookie outpost to Quackity, was saddened, causing disagreements. \\

After spending some time working as the manager of his restaurant in Las Nevadas, he grew tried of his day-to-day routine, thinking himself as worth more than to just be tending a restaurant where nobody visited. He eventually made up with Ranboo, but they had ''another'' argument the next day, which ended in in tears for Tubbo's part. The next day he got himself caught on Wilbur's TNT trap, only realising that it was rigged to explode after swapping places with Quackity's horse on the pressure plate. Terrified, he was eventually found by the others. However, Wilbur and Quackity got into a fistfight instead of trying to help him off the pressure plate. Ranboo then broke into the trap room and swapped places with Tubbo on the pressure plate, allowing Tubbo to escape to safety.\\

* AngstWhatAngst: {{Invoked|Trope}} and [[DeconstructedTrope deconstructed]]. * AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: Despite having exiled Tommy from L'Manburg, he held the compass that Ghostbur gave him, which points to Logsted (Tommy's residence), on his off-hand for good portion of one of his streams. After Tommy's death, it initially appears that Tubbo doesn't have much of a reaction, but that's because he was in denial. The next day, Tubbo makes a monument of their iconic bench in Snowchester to honor the memory of his best friend and commits himself to investigating the culprit that caused the security breach, so he can punish them for their role in Tommy's death. When Tommy comes back from being resurrected in the prison, Tubbo silently follows him everywhere after the initial shock.
* BigGuyLittleGuy: Through GameplayAndStorySegregation, Tubbo is the "canonically short" little guy to both Tommy and Ranboo's big guy.

* CerebusCallback: At the beginning of the server's history, Tommy stumbled upon Tubbo, who'd boxed himself in with cobblestone. Tommy jokingly called the box "Tubbox" and started saying things like "Tubbo in a box, what will he do?" The next time the Tubbox got referenced was when Tubbo was trapped in a concrete box at the Festival, about to be executed.

* DeathSeeker: While he's never actively sought out his own death like [[DrivenToSuicide Tommy has]], Tubbo is worryingly apathetic about his own demise, seeing it as an inevitability that he can accept as long as Tommy is still alive. This likely stems from Tommy claiming that the discs mattered more than him during their heated battle prior to Doomsday, and while Tommy clearly regretted it and said as much to Tubbo, it's clear that it stuck with him and brought down his own self-worth. This is further shown upon the revelation that one of Tubbo's nukes can only be set-off by triggering a dead-man's switch showing Tubbo's willingness to sacrifice his own life to save those he cares about.

** To Quackity, his extroverted fellow former cabinet member in Manberg and New L'Manberg. Their poor experiences under Schlatt changed them both in big ways--Tubbo tried very hard to not [[HeWhoFightsMonsters be the man Schlatt was]] and tried to do anything to avoid big conflicts even if it meant letting other people, like Dream, taking advantage of his pacifistic nature; Quackity, however, can't stand seeing people abuse their power over those without it and is quick to go on the offensive, even if it'll cause backlash. While both men are very smart, [[EmotionsVsStoicism Tubbo is better at controlling his emotions and makes decisions based on logic, which tends to make him come across as cold or blunt, while Quackity is often driven by his emotions, sometimes acting rashly in the heat of the moment, especially in stressful situations]]. Tubbo is more passive and sometimes forgiving to a concerning degree, while Quackity is more aggressive and his inability to let go of grudges tends to hurt him in the end. Both have bad issues with [[StepfordSmiler bottling up their trauma]], leading to Tubbo suffering silently and Quackity [[PsychologicalProjection projecting his issues onto others]]. Both were canonically killed by Technoblade, leaving them with [[PhysicalScarsPsychologicalScars facial scars and enough psychological trauma to last a lifetime]], but in Tubbo's case it was during his own execution, while in Quackity's, it was during what was supposed to be ''Techno's'' execution. Both have also emulated methods used against them -- Tubbo's nukes can be seen as a more extreme version of Techno and Phil's withers and were built purely as a defensive measure; while Quackity increasingly relies on more violent methods and tried to [[PayEvilUntoEvil kill Techno the same way Techno killed him]], once again with Tubbo being more defensive contrasting Quackity's more aggressive nature.
* GoldDigger: PlayedForLaughs, it's often joked that Tubbo only cares for Ranboo's wealth when they got married.
* HappilyAdopted: Tubbo is unaware of the status of his birth parents, as at some point he was adopted by Philza and the two generally have a good relationship. This is later {{Subverted|Trope}} when Tubbo's participation in the Butcher Army attack on Technoblade and arguably authoritarian behavior drives him and Phil apart, and the adoption was apparently retconned out at one point.

* ThePollyanna: Tubbo is unshakably optimistic about everything. He doubted for a long time that Wilbur had bad intentions, and he forgave Techno for killing him as soon as they got back to Pogtopia. Even the fact that his country was blown up ''minutes'' after he became president barely seemed to phase him, as when he got over the shock, he immediately started planning the rebuilding effort. {{Subverted|Trope}} when his attitude later turns out to mostly be a ruse. Both have also emulated methods used against them--Tubbo's them -- Tubbo's nukes can be seen as a more extreme version of Techno and Phil's withers and were built purely as a defensive measure; while Quackity increasingly relies on more violent methods and tried to [[PayEvilUntoEvil kill Techno the same way Techno killed him]], once again with Tubbo being more defensive contrasting Quackity's more aggressive nature.

* HappilyAdopted: Tubbo is unaware of the status of his birth parents, as at some point he was adopted by Philza and the two generally have a good relationship. This is later [[SubvertedTrope subverted]] when Tubbo's participation in the Butcher Army attack on Technoblade and arguably authoritarian behavior drives him and Phil apart, and the adoption was apparently retconned out at one point.
* HappilyMarried: With Ranboo.[[note]]While there is some debate due to conflicting statements about their marriage and Ranboo and Tubbo's boundaries against IRL shipping, both have showed to only mind sexual depictions of their characters, and are otherwise supportive of content where their characters aren't strictly platonic, and there have been many jokes about them being treated like ancient Greeks in canon. Generally, it is much more accurate to simply acknowledge their marriage without heavy regard to the specific nature of it.[[/note]]

Updated death section with information from Tubbo's 11/13/2022 lore stream. (Not sure if there is a better way to refer to the world the series has taken place in as opposed to the one he, Tommy, and Dream were reincarnated in at the end of the aforementioned stream.)

After moving Michael to Ranboo's old house, Tubbo decided at Technoblade's suggestion to move in there with Michael. They were greeted at Ranboo's house by Boo. Tubbo gave him Ranboo's "Do Not Read" book, which Boo responded by thanking him and giving him a pink tulip. Following that, Tubbo has since moved himself to a mushroom house out near the Greater SMP.\\

* AbortedArc:
** Back during L'Manburg, Wilbur appointed Jack as the country's ambassador, and it was suggested by Niki that he work as a [[TheMole double agent]] to spy on the Greater Dream SMP for them. This never got much further than the idea, especially after [[RealLifeWritesThePlot Jack's two month streaming hiatus]].
** After Tommy came out of the prison alive, Jack decides to become a prison guard so he could kill him the next time he went to visit Dream. As a part of this scheme, Jack promised Sam to work as a detective and discover who stole cameras from his base in the Badlands in order to get a favour from him and get a job as a guard. However, the next time Tommy goes back to the prison in order to kill Dream, he is permanently banned from it, and when Jack finds out about it, he drops the case before he could discover the thief.
* TheAlcoholic: For the months after Tommy's revival up until the one-year anniversary of Jack joining the server, he locked himself up in a room in the hotel for over two months, drinking heavily the entire time, [[HatesBeingAlone unable to cope]] with the feeling of abandonment when his friends didn't bother to stop by.
* AntagonistInMourning: Has shades of this starting from when Tommy lost his final canon life.
* AntiHero: Claims to be one when he starts plotting his revenge against Dream for burning his land and home. This takes a turn into straight-up villainy after Doomsday.
* ArcWords: "Be worse", the shortened version of "Be worse than [[ArcVillain Schlatt]]", which Jack used as his motivation to run Manifoldland before it went defunct.[[labelnote:*]] The slogan was originally "Be better", but was changed after Dream burned down some of Manifold Land, symbolizing Jack's FaceHeelTurn.[[/labelnote]]
-->'''Jack:''' Be worse than the people who hurt us, to the people who hurt us.
* BackFromTheDead: The UrExample of the Dream SMP universe. He lost his last canon life to Technoblade during Doomsday and momentarily got sucked into Hell before willing himself back to life with 3 more canon lives.[[labelnote:Meta explanation]]From a gameplay perspective, what happened was that Jack somehow glitched and fell through the world. He fixed it by [[HaveYouTriedRebooting logging in and out]].[[/labelnote]]
* BadassBoast: Occasionally, he will bring up his [[BackFromTheDead experience]] [[EscapedFromHell with death]] to make one.
-->'''Jack:''' One time I fell through the ground and went all the way to {{Hell}}, gentlemen. And you know what I did? I just came back.
%%* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe:
* BigBadWannabe: He's determined to become the villain of the story, but none of his evil plans actually work. For example, he filled Tommy's vacation home with clay and tried to pin it on Dream to spark conflict between the two, only for Tommy to be exiled the next day.
* BoisterousWeakling: He's quick to challenge, but has a rough time backing it up. The most blatant example being when he believed he could take on Technoblade by himself during the Doomsaday War, despite the battlefield being filled with Withers, L'Manberg mostly in ruins and it being the same guy who defeated Jack, alongside Ponk and Antfrost, after their ambush on Techno goes south. Needless to say, Jack loses. As a consequence, another Wither is spawned on his fallen loot and destroys his items.
* ButtMonkey:
** Jack's lack of luck or [[BoisterousWeakling skill to back up his claims of grandiose]] leads to him being extremely easy to pick on and kill. No one really seems to take him seriously either.
** Due to Ze Haus' close proximity to L'Manburg and its Podium, strange activity often frequents Jack's house whether or not he's around, to his frustration.
--->'''Jack:''' ''(in response to Niki being imprisoned for the first time by the Schlatt administration)'' Why whenever something's going on, it's always on my balcony?
* ChronicBackstabbingDisorder: Can be easily bribed to turn on his allies.
* CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot: He fought to save L'Manberg because his own house was so close by to the country and, as a result, loses most of his belongings and his [[KilledOffForReal final canon life]] in the battle. Unfortunately, it gets pointed out later that Jack's house was left completely unscathed next to the ruins of L'Manberg, [[AllForNothing thus making his involvement wasted effort]].
* DesperatelyLookingForAPurposeInLife: When Tommy dies, he realizes he's spent months devoting his life to trying to kill him, and now that he's [[KilledOffForReal truly gone]], has nothing. When Tommy turns up [[BackFromTheDead alive]], he seems ''glad'' to have motivation again.
* DisproportionateRetribution: During his spiral in Logstedshire, Tommy spleefed Jack to die in a sea of lava in the Nether and didn't know it was a canon death, and so didn't take it as seriously as Jack did. This motivated Jack to attempt to kill Tommy during the early days of Season 3. While his desire for vengeance is ''somewhat'' understandable, considering he had enough rage in him to claw out of Hell for the sake of revenge, trying to ''[[NukeEm blow Tommy up with a nuke]]'' is probably a little [[TheresNoKillLikeOverkill overkill]].
* DivideAndConquer: This was his M.O for awhile. Jack is trying to increase tensions between New L'Manburg and the SMP in retaliation against Dream for lighting Manifold Land on fire, and Tommy, who indirectly caused Dream to do it by griefing George. However, after Tommy was exiled, Jack decided instead to focus on turning George and Sapnap against Dream, unaware that George and Sapnap are already against Dream.
* DrowningMySorrows: Until the first anniversary of L'Manburg's Independence Day, Jack spent months drinking his life away in the hotel. His character is also stated to be "more broken than angry".
* EnemyMine: Jack wants to get revenge on Tommy but he wants to get revenge on Dream too so he's more then willing to team up with Tommy if it helps him take out Dream.
* EscapedFromHell: After [[KilledOffForReal losing his third canon life]] to Technoblade during the Doomsday War, he dragged himself out of Hell to exact revenge on those who had wronged him, regaining all three of his canon lives in the process.
* FiveStagesOfGrief: Goes through the five stages after the news of Tommy's death.
* {{Foil}}: To Niki, his former partner-in-crime. Both were original members of L'Manburg, the only two who joined after the War for Independence, and as time went on, both of them grew to feel outcasted by the other citizens. They both even [[MonumentalDamage destroyed a monument of L'Manburg]] that survived Doomsday, the L'Mantree and the bakery for Niki and Ze Haus for Jack, after growing to hate the memories attached to them. However, when Tommy was killed by Dream, Jack began to feel [[AntagonistInMourning guilty]] and started to reflect and move on, Niki outright refused to believe he was dead. And when Tommy gets revived, where Niki was able to find a support system in the form of the Syndicate, realizing she was targeting Tommy for the wrong reasons and dropping her plans to try and kill him, Jack only got angrier, abandoning his plans for change and putting his everything back into trying to kill him. At the same time, Niki turned against the people and country [[BreakTheBeliever she was initially loyal to]], while Jack was initially only to himself but eventually grew to care about the people he was supposed to despise.
* FullNameBasis: Most people refer to him by his full name, both in- and out-of-universe, even Jack himself.
* HatesBeingAlone: Jack struggles with abandonment issues after having drifted apart from his old friends back in L'Manberg, feeling lost without them in his life.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Jack is a very lonely person with very few people he considers friends, which is why he clings to [[MoralityPet Tubbo]], who he sees as having been consistently kind to him. He treasures his friendship with Niki but fears the only thing sustaining it is their shared hatred for Tommy. Even as he plotted to kill Tommy, he wished [[WeUsedToBeFriends they could go back to being friends again]], even admitting that the reason he enjoyed spying on him was that he liked pretending they were still friends. After meeting again after Tommy's resurrection, the two get into an argument that leaves Jack mourning the friendship they once had.
* InSeriesNickname: Before changing his IGN to [=JackManifoldTV=], Jack was also sometimes called "Thunder" as derived from his old IGN, [=Thunder1408=].
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: He's tried playing the role of a villain but almost every time outside interference ruins his plans such as when Tommy got exiled the day after he set up a prank in his home.
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: Jack tends to [[SmallNameBigEgo talk himself up]] to great lengths, and often comes off as extremely self-centered. However, this stems from his [[IJustWantToHaveFriends abandonment issues]] and feeling like a side character in his own life.
* KilledOffForReal: {{Subverted|Trope}}. After being fatally wounded in a duel against Techno in the Doomsday War, Jack loses his third canon life, but manages to bring himself BackFromTheDead in a [[EscapedFromHell freak resurrection]] with all three of his canon lives intact again.
* MirrorCharacter:
** Ironically, he shares quite a few similarities with Tommy--especially after Dream revived Tommy. Both Jack and Tommy are loud, brash, and use a confident front to hide their insecurities. They both fear being replaced or left behind by their friends. They are also currently two of the three members of the SMP to have [[BackFromTheDead come back from losing their third lives]], an experience that has left them heavily traumatized.
** He also shares a few similarities with the BigBad of the server, Dream--most notably, their shared fixation on Tommy and apparent lack of motivation outside of him. However, while Dream seeks to harm Tommy as a means of [[ForTheEvulz entertainment for himself]], Jack seeks to kill Tommy as a form of ''retribution'' for Tommy unintentionally killing him during his mental spiral while in exile and making him lose his items. Jack even points out that getting rid of Tommy would make Dream lose his one fixation, which is why Dream revived Tommy.
* TheMole:
** Jack agreed to live in Snowchester when Tubbo asked him to stay in order to spy on Tommy and report whatever he finds out to Niki so the two can get their revenge on him.
*** This later ends up being [[SubvertedTrope subverted]], as after Tommy dies and his partnership with Niki dissolves, Jack decides to live in Snowchester because [[BecomingTheMask he likes it there]], dropping most of his ulterior motives.
** The original plan for his character was to be a double agent, working for both L'Manburg and the Greater Dream SMP, however [[AbortedArc this never fully went through]].
* AMoltenDateWithDeath: His second canon death occurred this way. While visiting Tommy in Exile, Jack was dropped into the sea of lava in the Nether by a mentally-spiralling Tommy, and Jack proceeded to spend [[CruelAndUnusualDeath the next two or so minutes]] getting burnt through his fire-resistant netherite armour. This traumatized Jack greatly and became the start of his grudge against Tommy, who [[PoorCommunicationKills didn't know it was a canon death]] and therefore didn't take it as seriously, even though he apologized.
* MonumentalDamage: Burns his house in Manifold Land down, after growing to hate the memories attached to it and wanting to have some sort of control in his life. Keep in mind Ze Haus, similar to the L'Mantree, was one of, if not ''the'' last remaining monument from the original L'Manburg, surviving both November 16th and Doomsday.
* MoralityPet: He hates Tommy with a burning passion but has made it clear that, while he is using Tubbo to get closer to Tommy, he considers Tubbo to be a genuine friend and does not want any harm to come to him. This is ironic, considering his goal of killing his best friend would most certainly hurt Tubbo, a fact he lampshades after Tommy does die at Dream's hand.
* OddFriendship: Jack, who's a very outgoing and snarky guy, and Antfrost, who's usually very reserved and calm, have become good allies with one another.
* OnePersonBirthdayParty: Jack spends the one-year anniversary of him joining the server completely alone, except for when Tubbo logs on briefly to tell him he [[KickTheDog smells like shit]].
* RedOniBlueOni: Jack is the loud-mouthed and snarky red to Niki's more soft-spoken and reserved blue.
* ResurrectionRevenge: Jack managed to pull himself out of the Afterlife out of [[ThePowerOfHate sheer anger and vengefulness]], and proceeds to start planning to get revenge on those who have wronged him in his past lives.
* SmallNameBigEgo: He enjoys talking himself up and claims to be very powerful. He even tells Ranboo that he could protect him from [[TheDreaded Dream]], despite not having much, both in terms of PvP experience and resources.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: [[https://twitter.com/JackManifoldTV/status/1340787600454508546?s=19 At one point]], when Technoblade tries to kill Jack, the latter logs off before Techno has any chance to kill him.
* ShoutOut:
** His villain arc was loosely based on [[WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb Dr. Doofenshmirtz]], with comparisons also being drawn to [[Franchise/{{Pokemon}} James from Team Rocket]] and WesternAnimation/{{Megamind}}.
** He frequently uses music from the ''VideoGame/ProfessorLayton'' games during his streams, usually during villainous monologues or when scheming.
* SourOutsideSadInside: Uses a mask of ego and self-obsessiveness to hide his insecurities and trauma.
* TakeAThirdOption: He attempted to make his own nation, Manifold Land, but his land ended up being annexed into New L'Manberg after the Manburg-Pogtopia War, resulting in it becoming a district of it and thus making Jack a L'Manberg citizen. Jack doesn't quite agree with this decision and keeps fighting for its independence.
* ThenLetMeBeEvil: After Tommy comes out of prison alive, Jack snaps, falling back into his old ways of planning to kill Tommy and abandoning his plans for change and starting over.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: Genuinely considered Tommy a friend, only turning against him after Tommy killed him in the Nether. Yet, even after he made plot after plot to try and kill him, Jack missed having him as a friend, and after Tommy's death reminisced on how close they used to be during the L'Manburg days.
* WouldHurtAChild: Niki and Jack were planning on killing Tommy to exact their revenge... such as by attempting to lure Tommy into blast zone of a ''nuclear bomb''.

* ButtMonkey:
* CouldHaveAvoidedThisPlot: He fought
ShootTheShaggyDog: Despite Ranboo's best efforts to save L'Manberg because his own house was so close by to the country and, as a result, loses most of his belongings and his [[KilledOffForReal final canon life]] in the battle.
* EscapedFromHell: After [[KilledOffForReal losing his third canon life]] to Technoblade during
Squeeks from the Doomsday War, he dragged himself out of Hell to exact revenge on those who had wronged him, regaining all three of his canon lives in the process.
* FiveStagesOfGrief: Goes through the five stages after the news of Tommy's death.
* {{Foil}}: To Niki, his former partner-in-crime. Both were original members of L'Manburg, the only two who joined after the War for Independence,
and as time went on, both of them grew then carefully bringing him safely to feel outcasted by the other citizens. They both even [[MonumentalDamage destroyed a monument of L'Manburg]] that survived Doomsday, the L'Mantree and the bakery for Niki and Ze Haus for Jack, after growing to hate the memories attached to them. However, when Tommy was and Tubbo's house, Tubbo ends up getting Squeeks killed by Dream, Jack began to feel [[AntagonistInMourning guilty]] and started to reflect and move on, Niki outright refused to believe he was dead.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Jack is
Creeper just a very lonely person with very few people he considers friends, which is why he clings to [[MoralityPet Tubbo]], who he sees as having been consistently kind to him.
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: He's tried playing the role of a villain but almost every time outside interference ruins his plans such as when Tommy got exiled the
day after he set up a prank in his home.
* MirrorCharacter:
* TheMole:
* ShoutOut:

* AffectionateNickname: She starts calling Dream her duckling after several instances of him closely following her around.
* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: Her initial skin was a rainbow colored sheep.
* AmnesiacHero: Puffy can't remember any of her life before she joined the server on November 16th, although she's starting to find clues about her past; she was apparently a pirate captain seeking some kind of treasure in order to break the curse on her family.
* BreakTheCutie: The Red Banquet does this to her, forcing her to see her son be ritualistically sacrificed to the Crimson before giving into her instincts and brutally murdering Antfrost in revenge. After this, she turns away from the path of the knight, [[TookALevelInCynic and embraces the path of distrust]].
-->'''Captain Puffy:''' Never would I have thought that I would have been the one to swing the axe, to kill somebody, to draw blood, to end a life, it would have never been me. I would have bet it against any odds when it first joined, and it ''is me!'' And I'd do it again. ({{Beat}}) I'd do it every time, I wouldn't change the outcome, change the odds knowing it all. If I could go to the Red Banquet again, [[SuddenlyShouting KNOWING WHAT WAS GONNA HAPPEN, I WOULD HAVE KILLED THEM ALL TO START WITH!]]
* CarnivoreConfusion: At one point she accidentally ate a piece of cooked mutton and is [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone immediately horrified at herself.]]
* TheCobblersChildrenHaveNoShoes: Despite haivng decided to take up the role of therapist, Puffy has plenty of problems of her own that effectively take her out of the role for the time being. By Season 4, Puffy (heavily jaded from the server's issues) has since abandoned trying to go about her therapy business, ditching it in favor of selling drugs and giving the role over to [=HBomb=] and Tina.
* ConflictingLoyalty: Puffy enjoys chaos and finds the idea of siding with Dream to be very appealing. Later on, she's even named one of Eret's knights. However, she still cares a lot about Niki and doesn't want to betray her in any way. After L'Manburg's destruction, she comes to the conclusion that Dream is the true enemy of the server and denounces him, though she stays loyal to both Eret and Niki.
-->'''Puffy:''' And the saddest part, the worst part of it all, is that it was done by Dream. And Techno. And just... People who I considered friends, my- my ''duckling!'' I- This is just- Where do you draw the line? Where- Where do my loyalties lie at this point? I- I don't wanna- I don't wanna cross-team, but I also just don't- this is just... I mean... Who am I supporting if they're literally just doing ''this?!''
* CreateYourOwnHero: Puffy started out as a member of the Eggpire when it started, though the Egg's influence on her was minimal. What made her turn to being one of the most outspoken members of the Pro-Omelette alliance was that the Egg was willing to [[NeverHurtAnInnocent hurt innocent people]] to achieve its goals, including the two teenagers she had [[MamaBear gained a soft spot for]].
* CutenessProximity: [[BigBad Dream]] of all people inflicts this on her when he just silently follows her around like a little duckling while she was off collecting wood. He does it again later on, this time with the assistance of a trident, until she gifts him [[ChekhovsGun TNT]] to make him stop.
* FailedASpotCheck: She was the only one to spot Tommy & Technoblade sneaking around L'Manburg during the Vengeance Arc, but since [[JustifiedTrope she could only see their armor due to their invisibility potions]], she's unable to identify them.
* {{Foil}}: To Niki. Both are emotional people who are compassionate and willing to help and support their needs, and both follow their own beliefs. However, when it comes to expression, Niki tends to quietly hold grudges without anyone noticing, but she loses some of her morals, becoming more willing to hurt people who helped her before and take actions that only benefit herself. On the other hand, Puffy openly expresses her opinions, and keeps her willingness to save others and do what's best for the people. Puffy fought for L'Manberg, while Niki burned down one of their monuments. The two also have opposite relations towards Tommy; Niki planned to kill Tommy, while Puffy is somewhat of a parental figure towards him. Niki viewed Tommy as someone who brought chaos and destruction towards the adults, but Puffy views the adults as the ones who'd brought chaos and destruction towards Tommy. Much like Niki, she too has reached a breaking point that has caused her to fall down the path of "villainy".
* GoodIsNotSoft: Puffy is usually known to be a kind and motherly figure, but when you [[MamaBear mess with her children]]... well, just look at what happened to Antfrost during the Red Banquet.
-->'''Puffy:''' [[PreMortemOneLiner YOU'VE TAKEN MY KINDNESS FOR WEAKNESS, ANTFROST!]]
** She eventually evolves into this as she enters her "villain arc", swearing vengeance on those who betrayed her trust.
--->'''Puffy:''' But to the people that failed me, to the people that I've trusted time and time again and just taken my trust and- and thrown it in the trash--those people, those people I say, "Welcome to Doomsday."
* HeroicBSOD: After witnessing [[CutenessProximity Dream]] being locked up in the [[TailorMadePrison prison he commissioned]], Puffy couldn't handle another heartbreak. That was until she saw Awesamdude being betrayed and dropped into a pit right above the [[TheVirus Egg]] by BBH and Antfrost. Shocked and grieving, she casted away her knighthood and turned towards anarchy.
* HornedHumanoid: Puffy has sheep-like horns on the side of her head.
* InterspeciesAdoption: Puffy, a sheep-human hybrid, seems to have developed the strange habit of treating God-like entities on the SMP like her kids: the first being Dream who she called her [[AffectionateNickname duckling]] and the second being Foolish who she outright adopts moments after giving him a tour of the SMP.
* ItsAllMyFault:
** Puffy partially blames herself for the destruction of L'Manburg, insisting that, if she'd just stood up to Dream and tried harder like Tommy said, things could have turned out differently.
** She also blames herself for Tommy's death, feeling guilty for not being there to stop it, and considering herself [[MyGreatestFailure a failure]].
--->'''Puffy:''' Oh, I screwed up... Oh, I screwed up ''so bad...'' I should've been there for him, I thought he was only gonna be in for a week! And... And it was... It's 'cause of Dream! I... I feel so responsible, I just... ''(sigh)'' [...] It is part my fault, if- if I was there, I could've- I could've stopped it, I could've talked maybe sense into Dream, and- and- and Sam, and may- Argh... Oh, we could've gotten him out! And now it's too late, it's too late!
* KickingAssInAllHerFinery: She wears a crimson gown to the Red Banquet and avenges her son's death in it. Justified in that she didn't really have time to change, since shit went down real fast during the incident.
* KnightErrant: After the Doomsday War, she resigned as a Knight of Eret and became neutral with Snowchester citizenship, and wanted to make the SMP a better place and protect the vulnerable from those who abuse their power. However, she became disillusioned after the Red Banquet and abandoned her morality in the aftermath of the bloodbath that would have been.
* MamaBear:
** When Puffy heard Bad plan to trap Tommy and Tubbo inside the Egg-room. Puffy was completely horrified and did not tolerate the Eggpire's motive to get a hold of Tommy.
** Puffy always wanted to try to redeem the Eggpire, and considered them her friends even after they got more and more extreme. However, she made it clear that she would no longer be holding back once they threatened to kill her son, Foolish, and when Ant actually went through with it, she took out the axe Quackity gave her and beat him to death in cold blood.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: She was absolutely ''horrified'' with herself after killing Ant during the Red Banquet, and after escaping the Egg's chamber, proceeds to have a crisis.
* OnlySaneWoman: Becomes this when the Eggpire decides to [[DesecratingTheDead throw a party]] in Tommy's house and hotel after his [[KilledOffForReal demise]].
* PirateGirl: Prior to joining the SMP, Puffy apparently used to be a pirate captain.
* ThePrankster: When she isn't helping rebuild L'Manburg, Puffy spends her time pranking the other SMP members like Eret or Fundy.
* RageBreakingPoint:
** Puffy reached this when she discovered the [[BrainwashedAndCrazy Eggpire]] celebrating Tommy's death, only refraining from killing them all on the spot due to her respect for Tommy's memory.
** After seeing Foolish get executed by the Eggpire, when [[BigDamnHeroes Quackity, Technoblade, and Purpled]] change the balance of power, she uses the netherite axe Quackity gave her to kill Antfrost.
* TheShrink: She tries to be Type 3 (the Awesome type), but [[TheCobblersChildrenHaveNoShoes her own mental health problems]] take her out of the role for now. By Season 4, she's since ditched the occupation to be a drug dealer and allows [=HBomb=] and Tina to take a crack at it.
* SweetSheep: She's a lot nicer than her fellow caprine-associated SMP member [[GruesomeGoat Schlatt]].
* TeamMom: Puffy is a very kind person. Willing to help people no matter where they stand, she dearly cares for the children and doing her best to prevent the Egg spread to other players in the server.
* TheseHandsHaveKilled: After she takes Antfrost's first canon life, she has a mental breakdown over killing her friend, even though he was planning on killing her at the time.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Downplayed. Niki is the generous GirlyGirl to Puffy's bubbly and sometimes trickster GirlyGirlWithATomboyStreak. They both love baking and flowers, and have set up their own flower shop.
* TookALevelInCynic: Her faith in people and desire to help others pretty much took an irrecoverable hit after the Red Banquet. She has since abandoned being a therapist and embraced the server society's broken nature that allows conflict and war. As of Season 4, it's to the point where she (and H) assures Tina that doing crimes on the server in the name of excitement and want of conflict is fine given what has happened.
