* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Due to ForWantOfANail. Izuku does have a useful Quirk, so he never started mocking Izuku for being Quirkless. Other students still teased Izuku for it (largely with the easy innuendo about fusing with people), so he wasn't interested in being popular. Fusing into Katzuku meant that he and Izuku remained close for their entire childhood. Because of this, the canonical toxic relationship between him and Izuku never occurred, and without a convenient posse and victim he never became a bully. Therefore in the present, he's still abrasive and egotistical but far nicer to other students and a ''much'' better teammate.

* BoobsOfSteel: She's just as well-endowed as Momo and incredibly strong thanks to her transmutation abilities and One For All.

* NotDistractedByTheSexy: When Momo [[BareYourMidriff lifts her shirt]], which embarrasses Izuku and Ochako and arouses Minoru, Katsuki only raises his eyebrows in confusion.

* BareYourMidriff: Justified since it makes it easier to use her Quirk. During the Quirk assessment, she briefly did this to produce enough steel for Izuku to make use of his Quirk.

* BareYourMidriff: His shirt is too short for his frame, so this is in effect.

* PersonOfMassDestruction: Arguably all of the Fusions are this, given that they all have One For All, but Katzuchako takes it [[UpToEleven Up to Eleven]] with his mutation. By putting his fingertips onto an object, he can charge it up with explosive energy, turn it into a bomb, which he can then throw using his [[GravityMaster Gravity Control]], turning them into high-speed missiles. As of right now, we have no indication what the maximum size of an object he can turn into a bomb is, or even if there ''is'' a limitation.

* AdultFear: He's absolutely terrified when Nomu goes after [[spoiler:Tsuzuru]], because it means the monster that had just curb-stomped him is now going after someone who is effectively [[spoiler:three of his students]].

* AdaptationalBadass: Combining his Fusion Quirk with One For All allows him to use watered down 100% Smash attacks without damaging his body, while his canon self can only use 20% at max. Even if fusing with metal and the like seems to limit the damage that he can do somewhat, it’s nothing to sneeze at.

* BoringButPratical: While Material Fusion is not super flashy compared to Human, it is much more consistent in comparison to the point where Izuku's hero costume is designed specifically so that he can use it more frequently.

* AdaptationalJerkass: He's notably more prideful and abrasive in the story, considering at his canon counterpart's Pre-Character Development personality being more aloof and slightly arrogant.
