It was noted that save for the leader, Rose Knot, who escaped, all of the Mindflayers chose to fight the Terran Princes to the death rather than be imprisoned, as they would die a slow, agonizing death of starvation.

* GardenOfEden: She and her mate Chestnut lived in a 'Garden' in their early existence, which in the Codexverse are usually controlled test environments divines or other creators for their earliest creations to inhabit, grow and develop until they prove themselves ready to face the wider world. She and Chestnut were the main characters of the famous story where they were tempted by a serpent (which was [[SatanicArchetype Morning]] [[{{Satan}} Star]] in disguise) into eating the Fruit of Knowledge against Golden Scepter's explicit rule against it. Unlike in Genesis, however, both she and Chestnut accepted responsibility for their misdeed and explained why they did so, earning Golden Scepter's forgiveness and passing the SecretTestOfCharacter. Unfortunately, the story became confused and distorted over the ages, instead leaving the readers with the 'Second Age' version where they fail the test completely.

It is so intimidating that it induces ''[[TheDreaded crushing existential terror]]'' upon certain witnesses: [[https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/869178368/4961143298 during]] the Talon Baisian War, despite technically fighting on the same side, many old-school dragons who witnessed it reportedly fell into [[DespairEventHorizon depression]] and [[ThisCannotBe denial]] not only because they fear its might, but also realizing the implications it represents, as it was built by those who [[WhosLaughingNow they would normally had razed, pillaged and devoured with impunity]]. If the [[ANaziByAnyOtherName genocidal dragonslayers]] of Talon Bais reminded all how dangerous non-dragon races could be to dragons, ''Invincible Reason'' showed [[TheWorfEffect just how outmatched they are imminently becoming]], heralding the [[EndOfAnEra twilight of their time]] of [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty dominance and impunity]].

This led to him greatly sympathizing with Temnobog and Belyolen, who are the living embodiments of Irminsul's son's bifurcated parts. He was also rather appalled when he learned of Golden Scepter's past emotional neglect of his adoptive daughter, Queen Majesty, though he forgave his father as Golden Scepter had realized the error of his ways and truly changed.

* MisterSeahorse: Averted in a weird way. While he is technically Hopeful Moon's "mother" as Hopeful was born inside his [[MentalWorld dream world]], his son came about as the result of being cursed by a Count Dracolt and his own attempts to suppress his vampirism to almost complete non-existence. Not to mention, Hopeful exists in his dream world only, with the only way for his family and others to see him being psychically entering Bright Eyes' mind.
* OneSteveLimit: Averted. There is another pony named Professor ''Bright Eyes'', who was a heroine and member of the "Tales/Virtuous Seven" group that existed in the Second Age. The fact that he's NamedAfterSomebodyFamous would give him a lot of insecurities concerning his ability to live up to his namesake's legacy, though Golden Scepter would assure him that the legacy he carries is still his own, and he still loves him regardless of his choices and accomplishments.

* AdaptationalBadass: Primarch Angron was a powerful, vicious warrior, but a weak "[[PsychicPowers psyker]]" who lost his empathic powers when the Butcher's Nails were implanted into him, [[DiscardAndDraw replaced with the ability is to inspire raging bloodlust in his followers]]. Here, Red Blade is a powerful Alicorn demigod with stronger psychic powers, with massive potential to become even more powerful in general once he Ascends to true godhood. It's also noted that learning discipline and self-restraint has led to him becoming a deadlier warrior, since he's able to focus his anger into positive uses rather than letting his emotions run wild and loose. In addition, unlike Angron, he didn't have the butcher's Nails implanted into his head, resulting in him having a clearer state of mind.

By contrast, Red Blade was initially a shy yet kind foal who became a BullyHunter to protect others from being bullied, [[HeWhoFightsMonsters only for him to become no different than the bullies he hunted]] when he left Crimson Star near death, unaware that Crimson Star [[DeathSeeker wanted to die]] out of guilt. He eventually realized the error of his ways after witnessing the [[KnightTemplar Poenan Pantheon]]'s fanatical and zealous crusades, and instigating a revolution against a kingdom's tyrannical government that got too bloody and out of control, which motivated him to both control his anger and practice discipline and self-restraint.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Primarch Angron was a bloodthirsty, rage-driven horror thanks to the Butcher's Nails planted in his head, and because the Emperor of Mankind forced him to abandon his fellow gladiators, Angron's intended revolution failed and the gladiators were slaughtered to the last man and woman by their slavers. This made Angron extremely bitter and resentful towards the Emperor, and ultimately he became one of the first Primarchs to fully embrace Chaos. Here, Red Blade is much nicer and heroic, being heavily inspired by Angron's [[Fanfic/TheRoboutianHeresy Roboutian Heresy counterpart]] - he originally started out as a shy yet kind foal who turned into a BullyHunter after being constantly bullied, but he let his anger twist into "something monstrous" to the point where he became a bully himself, which led to a blinded Crimson Star nearly dying at his hooves. It took an encounter with a group of mortal Poenan followers, and a bloody revolution that went too far for him to realize what an awful person he had been to everyone, and his newfound restraint and discipline allowed him to Ascend to demi-godhood.

** His entry notes that at one point, one of his older brothers, Palatine Phoenix, was [[DemonicPossession possessed]] by a demonic sword he acquired. This served as the basis for his initial distrust of [[TalkingWeapon Mercy]], as her sapience was a reminder of the incident, but he eventually grew to love and accept her for who he is.
** In a canonized Codexverse drabble, he (and his brothers) would panic after Mercy went missing and spent a while looking for her. It turned out that Mercy went outside after hearing Fanged Paw joke about Ascending to godhood by "going outside", which she interpreted literally and resulted in her being gone long enough for her family to get worried. Fortunately, Golden Scepter found Mercy and took her home after having a talk with her.
** He would go through this again when Steel Barricade nearly succeeded in [[DrivenToSuicide committing suicide]] after getting into a nasty argument with a pre-Ascendant [[{{KnightTemplar}} Night Shade]] over his own mistakes. Thankfully, Red Blade and Clear Voice intervened, but Steel Barricade would end up recovering in the royal infirmary.

* BullyHunter: Deconstructed. He was previously a kind and shy foal, but became this after being constant bullied and catching his bullies picking on a disabled student, [[RageBreakingPoint enraging]] him so much that he seriously injured some of the bullies. Red Blade's actions made him feared and respected among other foals, yet worried his family, especially Golden Scepter, who saw in his son the irrational hatred he himself once displayed in the Imperium era. Eventually, he went too far when he joined Fanged Paw and Death Shroud in giving [[InsufferableGenius Crimson Star]] a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown after the latter was blinded in a carriage accident. This earned him the anger of his family, especially [[BigBrotherInstinct Blazing Hoof]], but Red Blade was utterly convinced he was right until he encountered the [[KnightTemplar Poenan Pantheon]] and their ruthless crusades. It wasn't until he inspired a bloody revolution in a tyrannical kingdom that led to the deaths of a despotic royal family's young children and hundreds of innocent people being forced to don the [[LostTechnology Butcher's Nails]] by their leaders, that Red Blade [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone finally realized the lesson that Golden Scepter and his family wanted him to learn]]. He then swore never to let his emotions (especially his anger) run loose again, which warranted his Ascension.

* AdaptationalHeroism: Being based on [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 the Primarchs]], all of the Terran Princes have been given this treatment. Because of a disastrous combination of wildly different personalities and beliefs, manipulations of the Chaos Gods, and a [[ParentalNegect profound lack of good parenting]] on the [[AbusiveParents Emperor of Mankind]]'s part, the Primarchs became a BigScrewedUpFamily that ultimately sets up the stage for the Horus Heresy. Half of the Primarchs even turned traitor. Here, Golden Scepter [[TookALevelInKindness becoming kinder and more benevolent]] would later have an impact on his relationship with his sons when he decided to settle down, which would influence his sons to become more heroic and significantly more emotionally and mentally stable than their [=WH40k=] counterparts.
* AffectionateNickname: All of the Terran Princes generally call each other "Brother" out of love and respect, since here they're much closer as family than the Primarchs. Blazing Hoof, as the oldest child of the family, is called "Big Brother".
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: It's implied, and speculated in-universe, that all of Golden Scepter's sons embody certain traits of his personality. For example, Crimson Star embodies his father's psionic talent and thirst for knowledge, Fanged Paw embodies his father's ruthlessness and rambunctious energy, Night Shade embodies his father's terrifying nature and desire for justice, Red Blade embodies his father's terrible wrath, and Written Word embodies his father's conviction and ability to inspire. Besides that, as Alicorn demigods, all of Golden Scepter's sons embody divine concepts that are benevolent and/or related to what the [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 Primarchs]] did in [=WH40k=] canon, such as Psionics, Faith, Knowledge, Technology, Animals, Fire, Innovation, Martial Arts, Freedom, Justice, and Truth.

* NotSoAboveItAll: As multiple Codexverse quotes and drabbles show, the Terran Princes do tend to get into silly situations (or start them themselves) despite their royal upbringing and demi-divine heritage.

* GentleGiant: Red Blade's entry notes that he's the tallest of his brothers and is quite famous for it, only being shorter than his father, Golden Scepter. It's implied that he has a very kind personality, if his positive interactions with his family and adoptive nieces are of any indication.

* AdaptationalBackstoryChange: Peachy was a proto-''Franchise/MyLittlePony'' toy called ''My Pretty Pony''. Here, she's ''the'' first modern Earthpony mare created by Golden Scepter, and together with Chestnut, the first modern Earthpony stallion, they became the progenitors of the Earthpony tribe. Like [[Literature/TheBible Adam and Eve]], Peachy and Chestnut were [[SecretTestOfCharacter tested by Golden Scepter to see if they would obey his rules]], and they seemingly failed thanks to Morning Star's secret sabotage... only for them to ''pass'' because neither Peachy or Chestnut were unwilling to watch the other take full blame for their disobedience. This would eventually lead to both of them Ascending to godhood and siring a number of children that Golden Scepter and his siblings would nurture in their evolution as a Pony tribe. Peachy would participate in the 'Twilight of the Alicorns' and survived being critically wounded by Morning Star thanks to Golden Scepter saving her in time, but later woke up from healing hibernation to help Queen Majesty bring an end to the Imperium of Ponykind, after which she disappeared. While assumed to be dead, [[spoiler:she was actually on another planet, waiting for Golden Sceper, his family, and the rest of divine/mortal sapientkind to advance enough that they are able to reach the stars so they can reunite with their loved ones]].

* CheerfulChild: As a filly, the first thing she did upon meeting Golden Scepter for the first time was to boop his nose and giggle.

* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: She was emotionally devastated by her mother's death and this motivated her to become spoiled and hedonistic to try and avoid her pain over it. She also gets hit a lot harder by the Princess Ponies failing to stop Lavan from stealing their wands than in canon. This is because she was entrusted with the wand by her then late mother to be its guardian, and thus her failing to protect it was failing her mother. The realization of how much of a RoyalBrat she'd become also hit her hard because she realizes she's utterly failed to live up to her mother (TheHighQueen who united Ponykind and was its first and most legendary queen) in any way. This ultimately motivates her to try and become a better ruler to finally make her mother proud.

* BadPowersGoodPeople: Her domain of Royalty gives her telepathic abilities, which naturally includes the ability to use mind control to force her subjects to obey her. Being a benevolent Princess, she doesn't like using it, but she will if the situation warrants using said power.

Here, she eventually became an Alicorn demigoddess after a combination of training under Amour-De-Soi, marrying a demi-Alicorn Prince, and exposure to Primordial Quintessence from various other deities and demi-deities, all which reached its peak when she confronted the Poenan goddess Lamperielpida.
* AdaptationalWealth: In canon, she's a simple apple farmer, though her family's cider is well-known in Ponyville. Here, she's a Terran Princess by virtue of marrying Prince Clear Voice, Golden Scepter's sixth-born son; while she's extremely wealthy because of it, she refuses to use her divine abilities for her own benefit, only empowering both herself and her family so they can all perform their duties better.
