* HomoeroticSubtext: One can read that he sounds like a spurned ex-boyfriend who was left behind and thus brings his anger to things that remind him of his former friend. And then there's the fact that he kept Legoshi's teeth close to him for no reason. And once he has gotten over his hatred for Gosha, they go out to eat, which in the manga is no more different as to how characters are shown to be dating. Even at the climax, he is seen attached with Gosha, held hands tightly, and after the fight they continued seeing each other.

Ambiguous Disorder is not a trope anymore, but a redirect to a YMMV entry.

* AmbiguousDisorder: Chapter 189 more or less confirms Gosha has severe emotional imbalances as a result of repressed grief and severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of [[spoiler:Toki’s death]]. The PTSD variety he exhibits is the trigger type: family and spousal abuse/neglect is such a violent trigger for him that, if provoked enough, he lashes out at '''anything''' in front of him. Worst case scenario, he flies into a [[TranquilFury very serene]], [[YouBastard murderous rage]]. It begs the question: '''how much misery and trauma is this man carrying'''? This mirrors how most traumatic deaths, left untreated, can leave individuals with really, really unstable minds.

* AmbiguousDisorder: She seems to have been mildly autistic - and Legoshi inherited it. [[spoiler:Being the daughter of a komodo dragon, some of her symptoms were closely related.]]

* TheUnsmile: All photographs of him have the exact same toothy grin, which is more unnerving than charming. Louis speculates that it's more reflexive than anything.

No one comments, however, on how contradictory it is that he technically consumes flesh too: using carnivore bodies as fertilizer should be considered a distant form of cannibalism. ** He basically spells this out in chapter 176, in which he believes that maybe by helping Legoshi in a time of need, he can show off Gosha. Unfortunately for him, Gosha overhears everything, and has no idea what he's talking about. Part of it seems to be jealousy of how strong Gosha has gotten thanks to having a family he cares for, while Yafya has no one ever since Gosha left him.
