* AdaptationalWimp: In most incarnations, Slade is a [[KnightOfCerebus dark, serious villain]] who is too hard to take down. He is stated to be and clearly show as superhuman who is at least 10 times stronger than an average person with enhanced senses, a HealingFactor, AcquiredPoisonImmunity, and other physical enhancements that put him above and beyond normal people. In ''Origins'', he loses is defeated by a rookie Batman ([[ThatOneBoss although he's easily the hardest boss in the game]]) while it's implied that the experiment that enhanced him only pushed his body to the peak of human ability like the comic version of ComicBook/CaptainAmerica. In ''Knight'', he's hit with this even harder when [[spoiler:he's taken down in one blow after his tank is destroyed.]]
* AffablyEvil: In ''Knight''. When interacting with the other main villains in the holding cell, he is the most friendly and least confrontational of the lot. He tells Firefly of the beauty of napalm at night, gives Penguin some fighting tips, barely reacts to Riddler's boasting, and tells Pyg of a man he think he'd get along with. That last one is especially notable, as no other character in the game reacts to Pyg with anything other than revulsion - even the [[spoiler:''Joker hallucination'']] thinks he's irreparably nuts.

* LogicalWeakness: Batman is able to keep her trapped using a large shipping container, which has no bars to slip out of out, can't be opened from the inside, and she's not strong enough to break through the solid steel walls.

Added DiffLines:

* WrongGenreSavvy: She thinks she can negotiate her release by telling Batman that the other assassins are meeting with [[spoiler:Joker]], offering to tell him where if he lets her out of the shipping container. This doesn't work because A) there's little chance Batman would risk that after just recovering from Copperhead's poison, and B) he can work out the location from that hint alone since he's already isolated Electrocutioner's shock gauntles and can just track that to find the others.

Here, Deathstroke is just an AffablyEvil mercenary who is OnlyInItForTheMoney.

* EarlyBirdCameo: In a sense, as while he's not present in ''Arkham Asylum'', an early Riddler riddle involves searching and identifying a newspaper clipping of Firefly, which then unlocks his biography.

If you listen to to certain comments by the Arkham Knight militia they mention that whilst Slade might get injured occasionally during sparring sessions with the troops (though usually dealing far more than he receives), unlike them, Slade's injuries healed up in next to no time.

* BerserkButton: Batman effectively sucker-punching him unconscious as [[spoiler: he leaps out of his tank following his boss fight in ''Knight'']] absolutely infuriates him, to the point he outright demands Batman [[spoiler: let him out of the Batmobile so they can "finish this properly".]] The act pisses him off so much he immediately declares ItsPersonal and that he'll be going after Batman for no bounty in the future, though he does admit the Bat is a WorthyOpponent if you talk to him in lockup afterwards.

* ClimaxBoss: Surprisingly, in ''Origins''. [[spoiler: His hostage situation on the Pioneer Bridge has massive effects on the remainder of the game, to the point where starting the mission is the game's PointOfNoReturn. Not only is it the incident that finally causes Batman and Gordon to start trusting each other, but it also distracts Bruce long enough that he's not around to personally secure the Batcave, allowing Bane to break in and leading to Bruce's DarkestHour during the events of that night.]]

* GutturalGrowler: Crispin Freeman is basically using his [[Videogame/MetalGearRisingRevengeance Sundowner]] voice, albeit with a slightly less outrageous accent.

* GutturalGrowler: Given who his [[Creator/SteveBlum voice actor]] is, it's no big surprise. While there were dozens of Blum-voiced goons in ''Asylum'' and ''City'' who all had the exact same voice as Ricky, ''Origins'' restricts it solely to him, in order to differentiate him as a character.
