* OurGodsAreDifferent: They are gods who watch over the sex lives and choose (typically) one person. They live in their FluffyCloudHeaven where they meet up from time to time and every god has a certain standing among the others (depending on how much sex their respective host has) although there doesn't seem to be a highest god of some sort. They are definitely not omnipotent but just restricted to giving more or less useful advice. It's not clear whether they are immortal but there's no indication they're not. They know everything about their host and seem to know a lot about other people but they don't seem to be omniscient. They can change appearance but usually choose not to as they usually are a representation of their person's (suppressed) personality in some way. They are only visible when they want to be seen and it's not quite clear what needs they have (other than a sexually successful person to guide), but they're seen to be sleeping and eating. They still have human feelings like joy, disappointment or fear and their morality is SexIsGood, although each god has his own approach on that.

* GodIsInept: His incompetence as mentor shows everywhere. He fails to be seen at one point, has no useful advice and usually only wastes Kosuda's time, who has to figure out everything for himself.
* TheGodsMustBeLazy: He is [[BeAsUnhelpfulAsPossible completely useless]] and never gives out any useful advice. Kosuda even complains about this once in the manga. However, Kosuda's sex god still seems to be benevolent.

* EveryoneHasStandards: As manipulative and self-centered as Yamada can be, she has an agonizing time formulating her reply to Kosuda's confession: Telling him no would screw her plan, but telling him yes (as Takeshita advises her to) is out of the question, since it would be a lie. And Yamada wouldn't deceive anyone on something as important as that to get into their pants!
