In the story, Gyro Gearloose -- the nicest person in Duckburg snaps for no reason, starts kidnapping children, destroys characters property, burns down Scrooge's Money Bin, kills Magica De Spell by burning her alive, and tries to butcher a few more characters. Since Gyro is usually the most pleasant character nobody even suspects him of making such terrible things...
* ''Webcomic/{{Aisopos}}'': Daross is clearly a NiceGuy and rarely gets into a fight, except when asked for (like when his teacher asked him to bring Aesop back through threatenings). However, when confronted and being in danger, he knows how to fight and defend himself.

* ''Webcomic/AnecdoteOfError'': Litasha is a MisplacedKindergartenTeacher, and seems pretty harmless, but her idea of reassuring her students that everything is all right after an attack is to tell them [[spoiler:that the school faculty are going to [[JudgeJuryAndExecutioner extrajudicially execute the soldier responsible]]]], all while [[DissonantSerenity maintaining her usual demeanor]]. Luntsha is appropriately horrified.
* In ''Webcomic/AvasDemon'', Wraitha restores Ava to life and argues that [[http://www.avasdemon.com/pages.php?page=0268 this was the new life she bargained for, since she didn't ask for "different"]]. [[http://www.avasdemon.com/pages.php?page=0277 Ava disagrees.]]

* Tony of ''Webcomic/CharbyTheVampirate'' is one of the nicest and definitely the most laid back of those living in the cabin and its subterranean chambers, opposed to killing humans and sentient monsters without the mental instability Zeno projects. This does not mean it's a good idea to nail him down with ColdIron, steal his [[HatOfPower tarnkappe]] and go after his friends even if the attack should leave Tony powerless. As a matter of fact Tony implies that just being pinned with ColdIron was enough to put him in a murderous state of mind.
* Max of ''Webcomic/CodeNameHunter'' fills this trope pretty well. Sure that he is responsible and mild-mannered (and [[SociallyAwkwardHero a little shy]]), but just don't you forget that Max has years of training in swordfight and experience in beat up warlocks and magical creatures. So, if you leave him no choice but fight (or pushing him too far), Max will kick your ass very painfully.

* Out of ''Webcomic/CtrlAltDel'' "Four Players" side story, Player Three, the yellow one, is the one to be careful of. Sure, he starts out as the ButtMonkey of the other three players, each more sadistic than the next, but has been known to ''snap'' while put under extreme duress. Player Two fell victim to this, as Three grabbed him and slammed him against the wall until he ragdolled all while shouting, ''"STOP IT<"''. He then came to and tried to apologize for what he just did.

** It's not as explicit now that element of her character seems to have been [[EarlyInstallmentWeirdness phased out]], but Lorenda Soulstealer used to eat people who annoyed her, and she still acts enough like a demon to terrorize a group of papparazzis into leaving Jyrras alone even after he gets declared "This Year's Most Eligible Bachelor". Otherwise, though, she's a cheery, good-natured cow whose [[FatAndProud not offended in the slightest by comments on her chubbiness]].

** Grace, super cute pacifist who just [[InnocentFanserviceGirl wishes people were less uptight about nudity.]] You can tie her up, torture her, even tell her you are going to use her for a ''breeding'' program. Make her believe you have hurt one of her friends though and there is [[SuperSoldier no power on Earth or beyond that can save you]]. In the author's own words:

* ''Webcomic/EnnuiGo'': You can count the number of genuine [[NiceGuy Nice Guys and Girls]] among the main cast on one hand, like Hashim, Tanya and Sarah. Of course, even they have their moments where the reveal a more nastier and/or violent side to them, mostly in response to either their loved ones getting hurt or if someone is ''especially'' annoying.

* Rikk, the leader of the Science Fiction Club in ''Webcomic/{{Fans}}'', is as nice, gentle and forgiving a man as you're ever likely to meet. However, during a storyline in ''Fans!'' which sees a bitter ex-boyfriend of Alisin's blackmail her into joining him, while simultaneously attempting to destroy the fan-club and replace it with a [[DarkerAndEdgier new, darker version]] -- Rikk is finally pushed too far, and beats the ex-boyfriend to a pulp before someone stops him from going too far.
* Michelle of ''Webcomic/Forever16'' has this in the story line where the school's AlphaBitch tries to break her and Joel apart. * The ''Webcomic/{{Freakangels}}'' are, in the words of Alice, kind of crap when you get right down to it. All of them have psychokinetic powers, and can do some serious damage all by themselves without lifting a finger. Out of the group, [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} Arkady]] is the most gentle (except possibly [[TheHeart Connor]]), and a FriendToAllLivingThings. But then [[{{Jerkass}} Luke]] tries to MindRape some poor girl, and Arkady hits him with a psychic BrownNote that ''flattens'' him.

* Sydney of ''Webcomic/GrrlPower'' is generally agreed to be TheDitz with an occasional motormouth, but try to attacked her or offend her in some way:
** An off-screen incident in her backstory involved someone trying to mug her, before she got the orbs that give her powers. Even the ARCHON members that have ''just met her'' aren't too surprised that the police report just says, "Oh, the humanity!"

** Feferi Peixes is a cute, pink-themed princess who likes to take care of her many pets. She is also strong enough to pull whales through the ocean, and acts as a diplomat between trolls and EldritchAbomination'[=s=].
* ''Webcomic/{{Hooky}}'': Dani and Dorian are sweet kids, but don’t hurt their loved ones. Dorian seriously contemplates [[spoiler: black magic]] when he sees [[spoiler: Dani about to be burned at the stake]]. Dani goes on a short RoaringRampageOfRevenge when [[spoiler: Alex is stabbed]].

** When another photographer attempts to know more about her and Hades' relationship, Persephone's eyes start turning red and she wears [[TheUnsmile a rather forced looking grin]] as she grips the photographer's arm to the point of starting to hurt him.

** Ping is normally sweet, cute and caring, but get her angry and she proves to have the strength to uproot a street lamp and use it to beat a [[{{Kaiju}} giant monster]] into submission. "[[http://megatokyo.com/strip/376 That was very rude,]] [[http://megatokyo.com/strip/378 Mr. Turtle!]]"

* Guy, from ''Webcomic/MushroomGo''. Guy is a literal [[VideoGame/SuperMarioBros2 shy guy]] that never speaks, happily dedicated to his work as the crew's nurse, cook, and housekeeper. Though afraid of hurting other people, he's proven himself a decent fighter -- with [[CombatMedic scalpels]] and {{chainsaw|Good}}s.

* Julie, from ''Webcomic/OurLittleAdventure'' when [[spoiler: an armored Minotaur kills Pauline, a member of her [[TrueCompanions Nakama]]]]. Her bubbly, happy personality vanishes and is replaced by something violent and scary, complete with CreepyMonotone and HiddenEyes. In the next page we see her [[RoyalRapier rapier]] embedded in the Minotaur's skull.

* Max from Webcomic/{{Precocious}} is one of the few kids that isn't psycopathic in some way, but he was able to [[http://www.precociouscomic.com/archive/comic/2014/05/14 sink the Buddleship]] using only an unseen piece of junk and the ability to swim.

* The Coffee Shop Lady from ''Webcomic/{{Sinfest}}'' is the nicest, sweetest granny archetype you could imagine, dispensing kindness, coffee and donuts to all, even distraught Devil Girls but [[http://www.sinfest.net/view.php?date=2012-09-09 don't try to push her around]]. Also counts of course as a case of NeverMessWithGranny.
* Kieri [[TheUnpronounceable Suizahn]], an angel from ''Webcomic/SlightlyDamned'', is usually very [[ShrinkingViolet shy and soft spoken.]] A history of being abused by her parents and peers does make her rather sensitive to [[http://www.sdamned.com/2012/12/12152012/ bullying]], even from other angels. [[FromBadToWorse It gets worse]] [[http://www.sdamned.com/2013/01/01052013/ here.]]

** Pastor Anne is a ghost [[note]]who is actually [[spoiler: a still-living, ''massive'' troll]] [[/note]] who has managed to not only maintain her sanity in the face of TheCorruption, but created a safe haven in the Dead World that exists in both the spiritual and physical worlds through sheer force of will alone, something which the mages of the setting consider to be the magical equivalent of eating the moon. She reacts to having her corner of the spirit realm invaded by Onni and Reynir (something most mages consider a supremely hostile act) by conjuring coffee and cake. [[spoiler: She also manages to take down [[ArcVillain Sleipnope]] with a simple three-word ArmorPiercingQuestion.]]
* ''Webcomic/SuitorArmor:'' Lucia is protected by (and developing feelings for) Modeus, a suit of AnimatedArmor. He's normally a GentleGiant, but turns ''very'' dangerous if she's threatened.

* Lero-Ro and Knag Horyang from ''Webcomic/TowerOfGod''. One is always sublimely cheerful, righteous and nice, he is Ranker and therefore one of the most dangerous people of the Tower and sometimes demonstrates that. The other is a soft-spoken man of [[BewareTheQuietOnes little words]], but he too is incredibly righteous, and while he wishes wrongdoers best luck to survive him, he doesn't hold back.

** Raine Silverlock. She is undoubtedly one of the nicest, most heartwarming prople in the entire cast. She is an IronWoobie owing to her childhood, and her [[spoiler:Keidran-Human shapeshifting]] causing complications between her friends and family. She's also one of the few humans [[spoiler:(At least most of the time)]] who tries to act decent towards the anthropomorphic Keidran of the setting, and is, by her own admission, a little naive (continuing the series tradition of sparing someone who's just tried to kill you, in this case, [[spoiler: Zen)]], though not to an extreme degree. She is also the daughter of the former Grand Templar (the head of the order of mages in the comic's setting) and an extremely powerful [[spoiler:shapeshifting Keidran Mage (who is responsible for her own shapeshifting ability)]]. If her friends are in danger, or harmed, God help you. Because she will SNAP. Case in point: After [[spoiler: Carver seemingly killed]] the group's [[spoiler:squirrel companion Mrs Nibbly]], having threatened their lives beforehand, she undergoes a magic surge that she uses to [[spoiler: PUSH the teleporting mage hundreds of kilometres away, to the BASITIN ISLANDS.]]

** Main character Trace Legacy is an AmnesiacHero and incredibly friendly and kind. He spends most of his time helping others, and is unfailingly trusting and self-sacrificing. He also has ''two'' [[SuperPoweredEvilSide Super-Powered Evil Sides]], and is implied to be the second strongest magic user in the setting. Don't hurt [[OneTrueLove Flora]]. It doesn't matter if he can't see it. It doesn't matter if he's been drugged into unconsciousness. He will know. And he will be... displeased.

* ''Webcomic/UnOrdinary'': John is one of the more polite, mild-mannered characters, but he can hold his own in a fight pretty well despite having no abilities and has a surprisingly nasty temper when provoked enough. [[spoiler:This is because he's hiding his true personality and history out of a combination of self hatred, fear of the Authorities and PTSD, he's got a huge violent streak and a very powerful ability, he's basing his personality on his father who actually is a powerless "cripple".]]

** Fighter, the nicest, friendliest, [[TheDitz ditziest]] character in the comic who has a very potent BerserkButton whenever his friends, especially Black Mage, are threatened.

* Max of ''Webcomic/CodeNameHunter'' fills this trope pretty well. * ''Webcomic/MagicAndPhysics'' has SPDA who seems like a genuinely nice person (being maybe the only one in the strip), but all hints about his back story suggest something that could have easily cost lots of lives.

* Big Ears in ''Webcomic/{{Goblins}}'' is a genuinely LawfulGood paladin who occasionally strays into HonorBeforeReason but avoids KnightTemplar and LawfulStupid. Oh, and he doesn't like it when you [[http://www.goblinscomic.com/10122009/ throw rocks at his catatonic friend]].

* [[http://drmcninja.com/archives/comic/14p70 This strip]] from ''Webcomic/TheAdventuresOfDrMcNinja'' plays this straight.
