* Wayne's crew using the silent countdown trick that they learned about earlier in the movie during their climactic broadcast. As bad as it was to almost have their show stolen, it's nice to see that they did manage to get some real tips about filming out of the experience.

* Minor: When Wayne and Garth show up at the donut shop, and Wayne introduces the audience to Glen, [[HijackedByGanon he manages to steal the camera away with just a]] ''[[HijackedByGanon nod]]''.
-->'''Wayne''': (to the audience; Glen stares blankly at the camera) This is the manager, Glen. [[TheInsomniac He's here 24 hours a day.]] I recommend the sugar pucks. They're excellent. (Glen nods to the left) Come on.
-->(the camera follows Glen)
-->'''Glen''': [[NoodleIncident I'd never done a crazy thing in my life before that night.]] [[ArmorPiercingQuestion Why is it if a man kills another man in battle it's called "heroic", yet if he kills a man in the heat of passion, it's called "murder"?]]
-->'''Wayne''': (from offscreen) ''Hello!'' (pops back into frame; to Glen) [[DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu What do you think you're doing? Only me and Garth get to talk to the camera.]] (to the audience) Come on.

No meta example, see this query.

* Garth's drumming bit in the shop? That was really Dana Carvey playing. No double there.
** Meta-moment of awesome: when Dana Carvey hosted the ''MTV Video Music Awards'' in 1992, they did a segment where Garth [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0YjiwVtwUo actually got to play "Even Better Than The Real Thing" with U2.]] ''Via satellite.'' Probably one of the craziest things MTV ever pulled off for the show.
* Wayne and Garth get backstage passes to meet Music/AliceCooper. If you're not as stoked as they are, you probably don't like rock music that much.

* During Wayne's tirade on the camera, the camera walks away. Now in the movie itself. It pretty much means the camera man isn't taking Wayne's crap anymore. But in a meta sense, neither is the audience. Either way we got Wayne to say sorry.

* The YMCA scene in the second film, which you can see coming a mile away. While spying on Cassandra and Bobby, Wayne, Garth and their friends, who coincidentally are dressed like the Village People, have to run away from Bobby. They end up running in to a gay bar and attempt to escape through the exit at the back of the stage. They can't, and the DJ notices them and starts playing "YMCA." They make the best of the predicament and proceed to bring the house down with their rendition of the song while, simultaneously, the crowd prevents Bobby from getting to them.

* Garth using a home-made taser at the Gasworks to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2IaT2Ndke4 fend off a jackass who shoved him]]. While he's prepping the tazer (with a toolbelt that makes it look almost like a ''Franchise/KamenRider'' belt), the ''Series/MissionImpossible'' theme plays to psych everyone up; once he sends the guy flying back and into a table, the others around him ''applaud''. "Thank you!"

* Charlton Heston's cameo in ''Wayne's World 2''. Some acting classes even show that scene to students to demonstrate the difference between just reading lines and actually acting.
