* Comparing this season to the previous two, Samurai and Megaforce; it is not hard to see just how much better the quality is this year both in acting and in writing. The rangers are all fleshed out with unique personalities and all given their spotlight episodes that actually develop the characters, as opposed to having a single episode focused on a ranger that showcases something new. We have a team of rangers that work well together, compared to the likes of Gia and Jake; and best of all, we have a mentor who ACTUALLY DOES SOMETHING WORTHWHILE! Keeper is the best mentor figure of the last three years, and it shows just how good a series ''can'' be.

* In general, the number of unmorphed fight scenes in the season. On a meta-level it shows willingness to rely on original footage rather than just stock. And in-universe it demonstrates just how badass this team is, as they rarely bother with the suits when fighting Vivix.

* The fact that they gave Albert, a one-time-only ranger, more character development than even some sixth rangers (like [[Series/PowerRangersSPD Sam]]).

** The moment everyone has been waiting for: StormingTheCastle on Sledge's Ship [[WhamLine to get the Energem back.]] [[LetsGetDangerous When Riley brings it up, no one defies him.]]

** A very subtle one. One of the Dino Chargers had the Sentai name "Gabutyra" on it by mistake. Future airings corrected it to "Tyrannosaurus". Given to heavy mistakes and lazy editing in the past few seasons, it shows how much the production crew is stepping up to the plate.
** The writing in this series compared to the last two (Samurai/ Super Samurai & Megaforce/ Super Megaforce) show that the production team has listened to the fans and is giving Power Rangers a season it deserves.
*** In addition to that the quality of acting in this season is consistently ''excellent.'' Scenes that would normally be {{Narm}} incarnate or otherwise grating are instead quite charming or even hilarious due to either the complete sincerity or brilliant comedic timing of the cast.

** In a meta-sense, the fact that they made gave Albert, a one time only ranger, a small character bit is more than even some sixth rangers (like Sam) could say.

** The NoSell Scene when Shearfear tries to cut Koda's bonds. That's ThePowerOfFriendship for you!

** The dinocharge rangers continue to think clever, switching outfits and even wearing wigs in order to trick the scissor monster to break his scissors on Koda's bond so they can save the other rangers.

** Kendall overcomes both her reliance on technology (an overarching part of her character for the whole series ''and'' something she leans on heavily in the course of her interrogation of the Rangers) and her continued dislike of Shelby in order to intuitively suss out who the fake Ranger is.

** Keeper's speech that Bones only took symbols of their courage. And that true courage is carrying on in spite of instead of instead of without fear.

** Sledge learns the Rangers are about to move the bomb he placed to kill the Rangers. So what does he do? Makes the bomb bigger so the Rangers can't carry it!

** Meta example: Despite being a ClipShow, a large amount of original footage is used to advance characterization, while the recycled footage is inventively used as an actual plot device, in stark contrast to how [[VerySpecialEpisode holiday specials]] were written under previous series in the Neo-Saban era.

** Wrench finally gets his chance to shine, and boy did he shine. Even though he still fails in obtaining the energem, he throws one hell of a fight, against the red ranger no less.

** Usually when it comes to the "monster affects the rangers" kind of episode plot requires the monster to be destroyed first to reverse the damage. This episode has none of that as the rangers regain their courage through sheer willpower.
