No meta example, see this query.

** A meta example, after four years of relying heavily on Sentai footage, to the point where it almost becomes a ShotForShotRemake, it's awesome to see an episode made entirely with original footage.

* "The Tooth Hurts":
** Meta-wise, the fact that a silly premise for an episode (monster gives evil toothache) turns out to be a good moment for CharacterDevelopment is an awesome moment for the writing team.
** Specifically, it also plays with AscendedFridgeHorror. If a monster could make a tooth decay cake, what else could he decay? The answer? EVERYTHING! Trees, buildings, reflecting lasers. It takes one of those goofy monsters, and turns it into something that's actually rather scary.

* "Double Ranger, Double Danger":
** Tyler manages to hold his own unmorphed against Fury. Not just holding his own, he comes ''this'' close to destroying Fury, and probably would've had if the other rangers hadn't distracted him.
** A meta example. Tyler informing the others that there's something inside Fury that tried to break out and they need to be careful. This is in comparison to the last couple seasons where Rangers would go multiple episodes without telling each other vital information (such as Troy taking 9 or 10 episodes to mention his Legend War dreams).

him.

** Sledge learns the Rangers are about to move the bomb he placed to kill them. So what does he do? Makes the bomb bigger so the Rangers can't carry it!
*** In response, what do Tyler and Ivan do? They use the Megazord to CARRY THE BOMB BACK to Sledge!
*** Almost the entire thing is original footage. Some of the footage of the Megazord carrying the bomb is from the Sentai (note how the Zord appears to be coming out of Earth from Japan). It is an impressive bit of writing and use of original footage to incorporate that element, though.
** Is it meta to say that it's awesome how the episode shows that Tyler isn't quite the goody-two-shoes he appeared to be at the beginning? The way he appears so envious of Ivan's showing off and how jealous he gets when Shelby is smitten with him...That's a cool narrative swerve.

Sledge!

* "The Ghostest With the Mostest":
** Meta example: Despite being a ClipShow, a large amount of original footage is used to advance characterization, while the recycled footage is inventively used as an actual plot device, in stark contrast to how [[HalloweenEpisode holiday]] [[ChristmasEpisode specials]] were written under previous series in the Neo-Saban era.
** Kendall overcomes both her reliance on technology (an overarching part of her character for the whole series ''and'' something she leans on heavily in the course of her interrogation of the Rangers) and her continued dislike of Shelby in order to intuitively suss out who the fake Ranger is.

** A meta one for Sledge, as he is now the first Power Rangers exclusive villain to not only be the final boss, but also get his own fight, AND grow giant on his own, no giant robot or super form.

** The three megazord blast to close out the series's battles.

* Judd Lynn has returned to Power Rangers as EP. The man who salvaged Turbo in its second half and gave us fan favorite seasons In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, and Time Force.
* Power Morphicon showed the cast, which was met with a lot of praise- namely, ''the first black pink Ranger'' (Camille Hyde).
* [[GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff Mostly for]] [[UsefulNotes/{{Indonesia}} the native nation]] of the actor - Yoshi Sudarso, the first Indonesian Power Ranger actor ''ever'' (as the blue Ranger!)
* Yoshi Sudarso receiving approval from Kyoryu Blue himself, Yamato Kinjo over Twitter. It also helps that Sudarso is a Toku fan and loved Kyoryuger. Yoshi later traveled to Japan and would not only finally meet Yamato, but also Robert Baldwin (Kyoryu Cyan) and Masayuki Deai (Kyoryu Grey/Bouken Silver). Also as a bonus, he met the cast of the 2015 sentai, ''Series/ShurikenSentaiNinninger'' - and even appeared in an episode! Only one previous Power Ranger actor ([[Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive James MacLurcan]]) had met [[Series/EngineSentaiGoOnger a Sentai cast]], and he didn't actually get to cameo. Yoshi has [[UpToEleven done the impossible]].
* Seeing all of the cast practicing hard to do the stunts and all of them being fairly toned, even the women, is very awesome to see.

Because of this, viewers got to see an episode a whole week before the episode's broadcast on television.
* A very subtle one. One of the Dino Chargers had the Sentai name "Gabutyra" on it by mistake. Future airings corrected it to "Tyrannosaurus". Given the heavy mistakes and lazy editing in the past few seasons, it shows how much the production crew is stepping up to the plate.
* The writing in this series compared to the last two (''Samurai/''Super Samurai'' and ''Megaforce''/''Super Megaforce'') show that the production team has listened to the fans and is giving Power Rangers a season it deserves.
** In addition to that the quality of acting in this season is consistently ''excellent.'' Scenes that would normally be {{Narm}} incarnate or otherwise grating are instead quite charming or even hilarious due to either the complete sincerity or brilliant comedic timing of the cast.
** One of the best examples is the episode "Freaky Fightday", which has almost everyone as someone else's character due to a FreakyFridayFlip.
* A midseason trailer showing off the Gold Ranger, Purple Ranger and Graphite Ranger, simply showing their awesomeness.
* The fact that they gave Albert, a one-time-only Ranger, more character development than even some sixth Rangers (like [[Series/PowerRangersSPD Sam]]). In fact, it's been noted that he's better developed than the Megaforce seasons' ''Red'' Ranger!
* In general, the number of unmorphed fight scenes in the season. On a meta-level it shows willingness to rely on original footage rather than just stock. And in-universe it demonstrates just how badass this team is, as they rarely bother with the suits when fighting Vivix.
* Comparing this season to the previous two, Samurai and Megaforce; it is not hard to see just how much better the quality is this year both in acting and in writing. The Rangers are all fleshed out with unique personalities and all given their spotlight episodes that actually develop the characters, as opposed to having a single episode focused on a Ranger that showcases something new. We have a team of Rangers that work well together, compared to the likes of Gia and Jake; and best of all, we have a mentor who ACTUALLY DOES SOMETHING WORTHWHILE! Keeper is the best mentor figure of the last three years, and it shows just how good a series ''can'' be.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cb7Ir4uzREo The first Dino Super Charge trailer]]. Showing Heckyl taking over, Snide kicking ass, and ALL TEN RANGERS!
* ''The toyline.'' After several years of lackluster toys, Dino Charge is FINALLY showing what Bandai of America is capable of, with multiple releases of all ten Rangers, Megazords nearly reaching the quality of the Sentai's mechas, a large amount of highly detailed villain figures, a first in the franchises ''entire history'', and, best of all ''4 entirely new zords'' not taken from Kyoryuger, all consisting of new molds. Comparing it to the last 4 years, with repeats of the same mold for every figure, and much lower quality Megazords, this is a big step up.
** They are also creating a Poisandra figure in response to the fans asking for her, since many found that it was unfair that a main villain was being overlooked in favor of random MonstersOfTheWeek.
* While all things considered it may have been unintentional, James Gaylyn's cameo as Shelby's dad is nice to see considering Snide was an upgraded version of Zeltrax's counterpart (who Gaylyn voiced in Dino Thunder) in the Kyoryuger vs Gobusters movie. While an American version of the team up seems unlikely, the crew was nice enough to make a subtle (if accidental) MythologyGag.
* The season is very easily the most adored by the franchise as a whole. Despite being one of the newest seasons, it's rangers as a group have racked up the largest number of crossover appearances in following seasons with multiple episodes of the Dino Charge heroes sharing the screen with their Ninja Steel and Beast Morphers successors.

** Credit where it's due, Keeper is a badass. His reaction to a massive T-Rex stomping up to him? [Ask it for help. It listens. When you can make freaking Dinosaurs listen to you, you know you're worth respecting. He then proceeds to single-handedly wreck Sledge's ship simply by playing dead and tricking Fury into taking his crystal bomb back with him. He follows this up by putting up a decent fight with Fury.
*** Also, when Sledge thinks he's been dealt with, it turns out Keeper had actually set him up with the bomb. The little guy is a total badass and it's no wonder the dinos recognized it.
*** Also, when the asteroids that would destroy the dinosaurs come, the shockwave is barreling towards him and there's no way to avoid it, what does he do? He calmly lowers his head and closes his eyes. He gets better.
** A meta example, after 4 years of relying heavily on Sentai footage, to the point where it almost becomes a ShotForShotRemake, it's awesome to see an episode made entirely with original footage.
* ''Past, Present, and Fusion''
** When Riley goes looking for his dog and finds Fury about to kill him, he does not hesitate, jumping in to try to fight Fury off with nothing but a metal rod. It's ineffective at first, but once he discovers the Green Energem and the rod changes into a Dino Saber, he gives Fury a hell of a fight, all while unmorphed.
** Tyler, Shelby, and Riley save the life of a man pinned under a car, which was leaking gas. They do this by having their Energems react to their selfless action and activate, which makes them not just get the car off, but send it flying up into the air where it explodes.
** The whole team faces off against a large horde of Viviks and put up a great fight, while Tyler and the T-Rex Zord (which Tyler nicknamed "Rexy") take on the enormous Vivi-Zords and Iceage and make short work of them.
* ''A Fool's Hour''
** The villains get one in their first confrontation with the Rangers, utterly curb-stomping them and demorphing them with just a couple attacks. Of course, the Rangers pay them back later with an awesome moment of their own once they get their Dino-Steel upgrade to even the odds.

to:

* The writing in this series compared to the last two (Samurai/Super Samurai & Megaforce/Super Megaforce) show that the production team has listened to the fans and is giving Power Rangers a season it deserves.
** In addition to that the quality of acting in this season is consistently excellent. Scenes that would normally be incarnate or otherwise grating are instead quite charming or even hilarious due to either the complete sincerity or brilliant comedic timing of the cast.
*** One of the best examples is the episode Freaky Fightday, which has almost everyone as someone else's character due to a FreakyFridayFlip.
* A mid-season trailer showing off the Gold Ranger, Purple Ranger, and Graphite Ranger, simply showing their awesomeness.
* The fact that they gave Albert, a one-time-only Ranger, more character development than even some sixth Rangers. In fact, it's been noted that he's better developed than the Megaforce seasons' Red Ranger!
* In general, the number of unmorphed fight scenes in the season. On a meta-level, it shows a willingness to rely on original footage rather than just stock.
Keeper is the best mentor figure of the last three years, and it shows just how good a series can be.
* The first Dino Super Charge trailer. Showing Heckyl taking over, Snide kicking ass, and ALL TEN RANGERS!
* The toy line. After several years of lackluster toys, Dino Charge is FINALLY showing what Bandai of America is capable of, with multiple releases of all 10 Rangers, Megazords nearly reaching the quality of the Sentai's mechas, a large amount of highly detailed villain figures, a first in the franchises entire history, and, best of all 4 entirely new Zords not taken from Kyoryuger, all consisting of new molds. Comparing it to the last 4 years, with repeats of the same mold for every figure, and much lower quality Megazords, this is a big step up.
** They are also creating a Poisandra figure in response to the fans asking for her since many found that it was unfair that a main villain was being overlooked in favor of random MonstersOfTheWeek.
* While all things considered, it may have been unintentional, James Gaylyn's cameo as Shelby's dad is nice to see considering Snide was an upgraded version of Zeltrax's counterpart (who Gaylyn voiced in Dino Thunder) in the Kyoryuger vs Go-Busters movie. While an American version of the team up seems unlikely, the crew was nice enough to make a subtle (if accidental) MythologyGag.

Because of this, viewers got to see an episode a whole week before the episode's broadcast on television.

** The villains get one in their first confrontation with the Rangers, utterly curb-stomping them and demorphing them with just a couple attacks. Of course, the Rangers pay them back later with an awesome moment of their own once their get their Dino-Steel upgrade to even the odds.
** The villains' whole plan, being quite smart. Also, they take the threat of the Rangers seriously this early. That puts them leagues beyond pretty much every villain group so far.

** The Rangers have to fight a Chessmaster monster named Puzzler. Only Riley is able to figure out the trick to use the airvents to get around the maze.

Because of this, viewers got to see an episode a whole week before the episode's broadcast on television.
* A very subtle one.
One of the Dino Chargers had the Sentai name "Gabutyra" on it by mistake. Future airings corrected it to "Tyrannosaurus". Given to heavy mistakes and lazy editing in the past few seasons, it shows how much the production crew is stepping up to the plate.
* The writing in this series compared to the last two (Samurai/ Super (Samurai/Super Samurai & Megaforce/ Super Megaforce/Super Megaforce) show that the production team has listened to the fans and is giving Power Rangers a season it deserves.
** In addition to that the quality of acting in this season is consistently ''excellent.'' excellent. Scenes that would normally be {{Narm}} incarnate or otherwise grating are instead quite charming or even hilarious due to either the complete sincerity or brilliant comedic timing of the cast.
*** One of the best examples is the episode ''Freaky Fightday'', Freaky Fightday, which has almost everyone as someone else's character due to a FreakyFridayFlip.

As a mind controlled Chase is about to shoot an unmorphed Shelby, she thinks fast and quickly slides a wheeled palette towards Chase, knowing he can only focus and temporarily break the spell when he's in his skateboard. The wheeled palette makes a good enough substitute, allowing Chase to get a hold of himself, wheel around and shoot at the amulet on Spellbinder's chest, breaking the spell over the whole team. Extra awesome added by that smug grin he flashes straight into the camera as he fires (even if it's already in the opening.)

** Say what you will about Heximas's low brow of thought, but the fact he was willing to wait 65 million years to attack the rangers really says something about his patience and perseverance.
*** Further, without Keeper, Koda and Ivan dropping in, he could've gotten most of the active rangers under his control without lifting a finger.
** The 3 megazord blast to close out the series's battles.

** Rangers and Heckyl defeat Sledge by binding him to his ship and sending it into the sun. Also, it is HilariousInHindsight moment for Heckyl, because Sledge threatened him with this exact fate back in Dino Charge.

Added DiffLines:

** They are also creating a Poisandra figure in response to the fans asking for her, since many found that it was unfair that a main villain was being overlooked in favor of random MonstersOfTheWeek.

** A meta one for Sledge, as he is now the first Power Rangers exclusive villain to not only be the final boss, but also get his own fight, AND grow giant on his own, no giant robot or super form.

** Wrench finally gets his chance to shine, and boy did he shine. Even though he still fails in obtaining the energem, he throws one hell of a fight, against the red ranger no less.

** A villainous one,: Heckyl [[spoiler:[[NearVillainVictory nearly steals all the Energems this episode]] with a XanatosGambit: his monster puts them to sleep and steals the Energems? He gets them. The Rangers become too exhausted to fight him? He wins. Shelby returning to the base early was the only thing that stopped him from winning.]]

*** Another bit of self awareness: Tyler and Riley point out that something is fishy with the Silver Ranger when the story he tells them doesn't add up, their caution prevented them from just taking the disguised Doomwing into their base.

** [[spoiler: Sledge]] almost destroyed the rangers with another monster, but that wasn't even his intention. All he wanted was a little time to defend the ship while its power recharges. Yet it seems he saved the right prisoner for last, because he got 7 out of 10 rangers stoned before they could even mount a counter attack.
** This is the second week in a row where a monster survives a megazord blow...and this one didn't even have the dark energem to help survive.

** The bulk of this episode is one long megazord battle. And even though Greenzilla took a new formation to defeat last time, this time, with some ingenuity, teamwork and perseverance, each of the greenzillas are slowly taken down one at a time.

** One for an inanimate object: the Dark Energem gets caught in a combined attack from the Dino Charge Ultrazord, six Dino Morpher blasts, and Heckyl and isn't even scratched afterwards.
