Suddenly, an Anti-ClimaxBoss swings back around to an epic showdown involving an actual agent of the Counter Force or a ([[ReformedButNotTamed sort of]]) reformed Evil of Humanity beating back an UltimateEvil from beyond the stars.

** During "Plus Episode" in the rerun, in order to protect the protagonist, Faker/Hephaestion chooses to activate Ionioi Hetairoi, disregarding the risk of burning out her Saint Graph. That's the first half; the second half consists of ''Iskandar answering her call'' and the two (along with the army) totally thrashes the forces created by the berserk Mnemosyne.

He destroys a Giant Mecha the protagonists were utilizing only for Chaldea to turn the tables against him by using said mecha as a catalys to summon Ares from Panhuman History to help out. The Grand Lancer, Romulus Quirinus, then shows up to neutralize Zeus' Authority, allowing Mash to finish him off with the Black Barrel!

** Charlemagne canonically gets stronger by looking cool, and as such, his attack animations are extremely flashy to match. The crowning jewel of this, however, is his Noble Phantasm, which is more or less pulled straight out of his origin game. For those that haven't seen it, [[PowerGivesYouWings he gains a pair of bright blue wings]] as he summons representing the Paladins - and then sets them off on full BeamSpam mode, and if that wasn't enough, ''he caps off the whole display by charging his target head-on and hitting them hard enough to cause a massive explosion.''

** Constantine XI’s Noble Phantasm is an entire movie opening cinematic that reenacts his final moments during UsefulNotes/TheFallOfConstantinople using unique and beautiful graphics, bombing effects and camera pans, as well as showing his Third Accession self - bloodied and can barely stand by holding onto his sword but still defending the gate valiantly like the LastStand he was in life. Yes, this man just summoned the whole Theodosian Walls into battle. Even his NP lines are awe-inspiring.

*** Not to mention, Holmes' death also really screws over Ruler Moriarty in the short term to boot. At first, he is pleased that he finally managed to best his eternal rival, only for his older counter part '''Archer of Shinjuku Moriarty''' to mentally contact him, just to his younger self that he screwed up royally. The two then argue a bit before the older counterpart promplty asks him: [[AndThenWhat Is there not work left to be done?]] [[VillainousBreakdown Cue him freaking out royally]] when he finally realizes [[DidntThinkThisThrough that with Holmes dead before he could betray Chaldea, his original plan is now kaput and he did not bother to make any immediate back-up scheme.]] More over, his [[WindsOfDestinyChange fate manipulation powers]] rely on the [[Myth/NorseMythology Norns]] to manipulate his own fate to make himself [[HopelessBossFight invincible.]] But as he originally died after he and Holmes fell down the Reichenback waterfall, his story basically ended right then and there. Now that very same scenario has been repeated, albeit with Ruler Moriarty now surviving and as such his fate has once more ended. [[LogicalWeakness Cue his fate manipulation powers now fizzling out as there the Norn cannot change a fate that has concluded.]] Now he will have to face off against Chaldea without his [[ContractualBossImmunity invincibility]] in play, especially against a pissed off Ritsuka. Suffice to say, he won the battle but lost the war, just like his older counterpart did in Shinjuku. Well played Holmes, well played.

** Muramasa once again proves his chops as the UltimateBlacksmith by performing a HeroicSacrifice in order to forge Excalibur for Altria Caster[[note]]Keep in mind that in PHH, it took the sacrifice of ''Six True Ancestor level Fairies'' to forge it[[/note]]. Even more awesome is that he not only prevents her from sacrificing herself to forge the sword, but he also [[LoopholeAbuse manages to escape the Alien God's control over him.]]

** Sherlock Holmes's death, while incredibly [[TearJerker heartbreaking and tragic,]] also served to completely screw over not only Ruler Moriarty's Plans[[note]]Who made him remember that his original summoner was the Alien God, and was banking on Holmes betraying Chaldea so that Moriarty could swoop in and take over.[[/note]] but also the plans of the Alien God.[[note]]Who summoned Holmes as it's true First Disciple all the way back in the London Singularity in order to assist in taking down Goetia, and to also infiltrate Chaldea as both a spy and to perform an unknown role[[/note]] After all, since both plans for Holmes involves him promplty betraying Chaldea now that the truth is out, [[CuttingTheKnot he does the simplest]] [[GodzillaThreshold (though the most extreme)]] [[CuttingTheKnot thing possible to wreck both schemes.]] [[HeroicSacrifice Cue him jumping off of the bridge and into the waterfall below.]] [[SpannerInTheWorks As dying before betraying Chaldea renders both Ruler Moriarty and the Alien God's plans for him no longer possible!]] [[GoOutWithASmile Cue him contentedly smiling as he falls into the rushing water below.]] Knowing for sure that everyone at Chaldea will win the battle against the Alien God.

** King Hassan's animation emphasizes just how powerful he is especially when he weakened Gawain in Camelot for you, with stylish and visceral animations like he's from VideoGame/DarkSouls or VideoGame/DevilMayCry. His Noble Phantasm is merely a single, powerful slash... preceded by a PowerWalk and a DeathGlare. Truly worthy of his title as Grand Assassin.

** Abe no Seimei, while not appearing in person, helped the team all the way up to the final battle, including [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech taunts Douman directly]] for why he can't become a proper Beast.

** When it looks like Aurora has a chance to escape the collapsing Lostbelt with Melusine, the latter [[KickTheSonOfABitch simply stabs her]] and leaves her to bleed out, as she knows that Aurora’s delusional purpose of wanting to be the brightest and most loved person would be unachievable in PHH.[[note]]Though some may regret to not stop Melusine from doing so, because perhaps having her go to PHH anyway and realizing firsthand that her dream end up being impossible, [[BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor giving her an extreme case of]] FateWorseThanDeath, would be equally cathartic, but either way Aurora is doomed anyway.[[/note]] Some also see this as Melusine's act as a MercyKill, but the fact that [[AndThisIsFor someone finally killed Aurora for all the shit she did]] (including her betrayal of [[NobleDemon Knocknarea]] for petty reasons) still helps.
*** Even [[EvenEvilHasStandards he's not at the level of fellow Feys]], Spriggan got [[DroppedABridgeOnHim unceremoniously crushed in his own house]] is also cathartic comeuppance for his betrayal of [[TragicVillain Morgan]].

*** Not to mention he spends 3 minutes to kill ''500 infected human'' while taking all said curse for himself so that he give Beryl a payback.
