Cybele: I CLAIM THIS PAGE FOR SPAIN! *gets hit by a brick* But in all seriousness folks, for those of you who have the game, how far are you? I'm stuck in Episode 6, just level grinding and doing case files. I love how much almost everything was overhauled and built upon.
And to whoever posted the Gameplay and Story Segregation example, THANK YOU. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who wanted to hit Nagi over the head with a demon tube and tell her to just buy a Jin Dan. Or go on a fusing spree. If Raidou can do it, why can't she?
Dalantia: Chapter 3ish, so far. Been distracted with all the various crap going on around here, and by the Ar Tonelico games, and.. >_>
Cybele: Wootness, someone's here besides me! =D
Cherry: That Gameplay and Story Segregation was me. (I know, right? "Foolish drama", indeed...) I'm on Chapter 4, just started it. Sidetracked by case files.
Cybele: Ya, those case files are addicting. *snickers* I just beat Mara and am now able to fuse it...at least until my Raidou is Lv. 62....
Cherry: Chapter 6... You wouldn't happen to be stuck at the point where you have to rescue that man's cow, would you (I think this looks relatively spoiler-free...) If you've already done it, would you mind telling me how you did it for my brother's sake? (And my own, once I catch up...)
Cybele: If you've already talked to the farmer at Tsukigata's Residential Area, you have to return to the Tento Springs. If you haven't explored all the wells, then do so (using the emblem Dahn gave you), as the cow is behind the wooden gate on the far left of the screen.
Cherry: We got it, thanks! As a complete aside, it took me a strangely-long amount of time to realize that Dahn's hand was stained black, and that it wasn't a glove! All that armor is distracting!
- I think Dahn is kinda...um...hot. DO YOU? =)
Dalantia: Looking around now, I don't think Nagi has tubes. I think she just relies on the notion that the demon is with her, and when it died, it disappeared into nothing instead of having a tube around to sustain it while she revived it.
Cherry: Except, look at her artwork in the manual. She's holding a tube...
Cybele: No problem!
Dalantia: ...Alignment?
Cybele: I finished the game with 90% of the case files done, and Law alignment (though I really wanted Neutral or Chaos). *sigh* Well there's always New Game Plus.
Servitor_2152: Is Nagi and Geirin's Gratuitous English in the Japanese release the reason for all their talk of "theory" and "conjecture" and their general Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness in English? I was going to add a comment to that effect, and wanted to make sure I had my facts straight before I did.
Cybele: Mikaboshi is one of the awesomest demons in the game. Hate to say it like this but he pretty much poops out Uranus Stones like crazy. I've just given him the nickname of FREE MONEY.
Dalantia: Finished it. The star was handy, but he only gave me one of those. 75% case file completion, Neutral alignment.
Cybele: Cool! Now if you finish all the case files, you can get the case file to fight Masakado. Be careful though, he's one of the toughest side bosses in the game. Big tip: bring max luck locusts to counter his bad luck roulette spam.
Rutee: I'm going to take out Boss in Mook Clothing. I get the idea, but Fiends aren't treated as being remotely similar to the peons that surround them, except for wanderring the same place. The Tutorial people say "Watch out for Fiends", Gotou tells you "That's no Demon-moon, that's a Fiend-station!", they talk for the hell of it, and have a Boss' HP bar and Mag dispersal.
Kalle: I have this feeling that the Jack-san Five fight counts as an example of Refuge in Audacity — considering that there's one white Jack Frost and four Black Frosts... xD
