Working Title: Humans Are An Evil God: From YKTTW

Frodo Goofball Co TV: @Earnest, thanks for the edit! Wow. I'm in awe of your editing skills.

Earnest: It's all in the wrist. XD I'm just happy to help, hopefully the pic is sufficiently topical.

Maso Tey: So, this:
To meet this trope, the non-humans must consider either individual (completely normal) Man or the Man's civilization as a whole to be:
* Something akin to a Physical God or Sufficiently Advanced Alien
Do both conditions have to be fulfilled for this trope to apply, or will either one suffice?

Frodo Goofball Co TV: @Maso Tey, in my view, the key is that there is a mix of respect or reverence on one hand with fear, distrust, or horror on the other, toward humans in general, to fit this trope.

* It must be obvious to the audience that the humans in question are not Superheroes from the point of view of other humans; at most, the humans should be no more atypical than a Colonel Badass type.
* The humans don't have to be as powerful to the animals, etc, as the average Physical God, consider the martians from War Of The Worlds, individually, without their technology, a human could take them on, but against the whole landing force, large military units simply crumbled against them.
* The humans don't heave to be Always Chaotic Evil but they do need to be at least horrifyingly dangerous. Humans as completely benign gods don't cut it. Their needs to be a taste of negative emotions mixed in. It could be some sort of Omniscient Morality License; note that the Always Lawful Good God of The Bible can seem Always Chaotic Evil at times, even though we know its all part of a benign Xanatos Gambit.

Doctor Nemesis: I loved the old picture, but I replaced it with the Finding Nemo image because, given the nature of the trope, it seemed a teeny bit more appropriate to have a picture which featured an actual human character rather than an anthropomorphic animal character. Plus, it's a photo with hopefully sums up the nature of the trope in a slightly humourous fashion. Discussion is naturally welcome.

Earnest: I think it's a good change. Putting the old pic here for posterity.

Okay, so he's an anthropomorphic cat, he's still godlike and amazingly cruel.

I just realized that bit about the four legged creature with metal skin (armored guy on horseback) sounds exactly like Arceus.. with its big long neck and small head.. those things on his sides could be the rider's legs.
As far as we can tell, the carvings that cavemen made and carried with them were almost all based on predators and heavily pregnant women

StClair: Now you tell me, which is more terrifying?
