Which four Franks does the One-Steve Limit refer to? I'm gathering Captain Hollister doesn't count as a minor character, and doesn't Frank appear in "Timeslides"?
Hide / Show RepliesFrank Hollister, Frank Todhunter, Frank Rimmer Sr (Rimmer's uncle), Frank Rimmer Jr (Rimmer's brother)…
- Timey-Wimey Ball: Several: White Hole, Timeslides, The Inquisitor, Out of Time...
- In fact, due to the Boys from the dwarfs Once a Season romp through history, this can be said for the timeline In-Universe
I don't understand the wording of this at all.
- Shown Their Work:
- Back To Earth looks remarkably good considering it had a very small budget, thanks to some very dedicated crew members. Doug Naylor notably purchased the Smart car that stood in as Carbug with his own money, as the budget could not stretch far enough to justify it.
What has being well-made in spite of its low budget and eager crewmembers got to do with good research?
Edited by OldManHoOhRobot Religion: [...] Very cheap and simple machines that couldn't possible pose any threat such as talking toasters don't get installed with belief chips so most kitchen appliances are atheists.
Which episode said this? Is this from the novels? "If god is infinite, would you like a toasted teacake?" is the closest I can recall to the toaster saying anything re: religion.
- Real Is Grey: The first two series. [...] Even the outside of the ship itself had far more of a reddish-grey look in the first series than it did in the others.
Umm, what? I thought the ship used the same stock footage up until the CGI Dwarf in series VIII.
- Offscreen Crash: Rimmer in the pilot. Somehow.
Was this in the remastered version? Because I don't recall the (more widely seen in the UK) original broadcast making a crash at any point.
Just created a literature space for Red Dwarf. Anyone who read the books willing to help out with it?
Edited by EarlOfSandvich I now go by Graf von Tirol.
Considering that Red Dwarf is set in the future and there's been no less than two or three virtual reality episodes (plus the Jane Austen simulation in "Beyond a Joke"), is pointing out an aversion of Pac Man Fever worth noting?
