Taking an established character from a different continuity and doing this to her without proper warning, foreshadowing or involvement from the rest of the continuity seems a bit cheap, and needlessly cruel to the character\'s creator, in my opinion. Not to mention that this character comes from the Young Daring Do series. In universe, this would be getting tremendous backlash, and would lead to the author\'s sanity being questioned.
