I'd like to create a Drinking Game page for Wander over Yonder. How would I go about doing that?
Currently Reading: N/AI think we're going to have to be careful if one of us does a Bible drinking game.
I created a drinking game for The Alice Network by creating a red link on the Wiki Sandbox (see The Alice Network) but it doesn't show up on the Literature page for The Alice Network, even though the Literature page shows up on the Drinking Game Page. Why, and how can I fix this?
Edit: It works now. Just took some time, I guess.
Edited by birdsinthewindowI have a suggestion for a Drinking Game if it doesn't exist already: The Disney Animated Canon drinking game. Here are some of my suggestions:
- Take a shot whenever Disney manages to sneak something past the radar regardless of it being blatant or subtle.
- For those watching late-1990's/early 2000's Disney movies, take a shot for any painfully obvious attempts to blend traditional animation and cel-shaded CGI.
- Take a shot for any glaring errors in animation. To be suicidal, use this rule while watching any Disney film during the Dark Age of Disney Animation, especially Robin Hood.
- Take a shot for any Shout-Out you manage to recognize in their works, including Mythology Gag, Continuity Porn/ Continuity Nod (both meta- and in-universe) to past Disney productions and the franchise that the Canon is currently adapting.
- An exception/ suicidal rule is Wreck It Ralph, since you'll be dead within the first seven minutes.
- Take a shot for a case of Hey Its That Voice/ Hey Its That Guy (the latter if you recognize the name of an animator/director/screenwriter/producer that's NOT Uncle Walt).
- Take a chug for any instance of pure, unadulterated Nightmare Fuel (or Fridge Horror).
Just go to the work page for the Disney Animated Canon and add a Drinking Games page.
Many drinking game pages tell you to drink different amounts of alchohol (a sip, a shot, a drink, an entire bottle, 3 bottles, etc.) for different things. Does a greater amount mean that the behavior is more common or less common?
A few questions I have regarding drinking games.
- 1. Should we have a Spoilers Off policy for drinking games? I assume people who play these games have seen the works before, so removing spoiler tags may help them understand the cues.
- 2. I know people have different limits for consumption of beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Sometimes, it's unclear how much constitutes a drink (as in beer, tequila shot, soda, etc) when I read drinking game pages. Should we define what each rule means? In other words, should there be a universal definition for "Take a Sip", "Take a Drink", "Drink", etc.?
I'm not a mod, but here are my ideas:
- If drinking games count as moments pages, yes. I'm not sure if they do, though.
- Doesn't really seem necessary to me, but I suppose I assumed that most people, like me, were reading the drinking games but not actually playing them.
A few drinking games do indeed show up, but for some reason are redlinked and refuse to be indexed in spite of said pages existing with content. There anything we can do about what I assume is a glitch?
1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die (all editions) progress: 426/1089 (39.12%)I wonder why there isn't one for the Ace Combat series, since there are a lot of opportunities. From getting shot down by a machine gun, to colliding with something in mid-air, to destroying an aircraft, any aircraft, with ATG weaponry, possibly guided and actually targeting ground forces...
Why and how do we not have one for Code Geass? Seriously, that show is begging for a drinking game.
Why is there not a Star Trek: The Original Series drinking game? Tropers, I am disappoint.
Most of the drinking games here would kill the drinker within an hour. Worst for IWBTG. A drink for every DEATH? I died 2073 times when i played.
GAME OVERWhere can we propose a new drinking game?
Trans rights are human rights. If you don't think that, please leave. Hide / Show RepliesThere isn't anywhere, as far as I can tell, except possibly this page or the discussion page of the page you're making it for. I'd say just to go ahead and make one!
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
This stuff is butts-old, but can I add Twitter and other international/national media sites? Best example, Drink when Twitter perma-bans you for NO reason!?!?
When an idea is formed and practiced, learn NOT from the creators but the reputation the public invest in. Website fine, idiot admins bad!
