- Our Fairies Are Different: In the same presentation that announced Wii U/3DS, the Pokémon X and Y trailer revealed that Jigglypuff was being reclassified as a Fairy-type.
Their new status as a fairy-type was not mentioned in any Super Smash Bros game by far.

Well, I added it because I feel it's inevitably going to become relevant - either Jigglypuff will be updated as a Fairy-type in Wii U/3DS, or she'll be knocked off the roster and we'd note that her Smash appearances diverge from the way things are going to be in Pokemon from now on. But frankly I don't find it that big of a deal; I restored the edit once to try and explain my reasoning, but I'm not going to pursue it any further.
It's kinda obvious that the Poltergust 5000 is Luigi's new Final Smash, considering he's surrounded by the gold glow the non-transforming Final Smash uses get.
