But is there any evidence their appearance is related to genetic changes? Kakuzu's oddities are apparently due to secret jutsus his village possessed that he stole, and the Mist Village has quite a few people with sharp teeth and other odd features that to my knowledge are never really commended on or explained.
I was thinking if Pain/Nagato can have a page of his own, similar to Itachi and Tobi. Part of my reason is because Pain/Nagato himself is among the most important characters in the Naruto series and there is a lot to his character.
Also, considering 4/5th of the amount of Naruto characters with their own pages happen to be Uchiha Clan characters, I feel as if there could be some diversity in a regard.
Edited by CrimsonShark "Money is the goddamn plan! Have some faith, y'all!"I want to mark Black Zetsu's folder as containing spoilers and remove all the tags, since more than half of it seems to currently be covered in white tags. Let me know if anyone has any objections.
Hide / Show RepliesConsidering Naruto has been over for a few years now, and IIRC the policy is that everything that hasn't debuted free on Cruncyroll is spoiler tagged, I don't see why the pages aren't designated spoiler free.
About expies, I've been hearing a lot of people were comparing Pein/Nagato with Light Yagami, Zechs Merquise/Milliardo Peacecraft, Schneizel, Char Aznable and Lelouch. Do you mind I put that? I just feel like it'd be interesting if it was there. As for Tobi/Obito, mostly Char Aznable as well. See my Obito and Char comparison: http://www.narutoforums.com/showthread.php?t=867186 Some of them will be updated so don't worry
Hide / Show RepliesThose aren't expies, just characters who share 'some' similarities. And all Pain has in common with Light, Schneizel and Lelouch (I don't know about the others) is that they're Well Intentioned Extremists / Knights Templar. Besides that they all have different personalities, appearance, backstory, motives, abilities and roles in the story. They're not expies.
Include Zechs Merquise, Treize Krushrenda, and Shinobu Sensui (Whom he has mostly in common with) as well.

can any one update itachi's chessmaster trope because he has same success as Aeolia Schenberg from gundam 00 Aeolia Schenberg's plan completed after his dead and itachi 's plans success when he is dead
Edited by 78.171.166.11There's an Edit War over these:
- Villain Forgot to Level Grind: Deidara, Sasori and Kakuzu. When they were alive were S-ranked ninjas, but when they were revived, they were easily defeated by Jonins and Chunins.
- Badass Decay: Deidara, Sasori and Kakuzu. When they were alive were S-ranked ninjas, but when they were revived, they were easily defeated by Jonins and Chunins.
Settle it here without going back and forth.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer Hide / Show RepliesBadass Decay. You can't level up if you are dead.
The Reaper Games starts anew.Badass Decay / Villain Decay: Edos versions are much weaker than their original versions.
Edited by cclosinaBadass Decay: It's nowhere mentioned that they've been summoned weaker or that everyone leveled much in the meantime, but there's no questioning that they somehow became much less effective.
Near as I can tell, Badass Decay has nothing to do with a villain's threat, but more with how he's treated and his general character.
Nor does Villain Forgot to Level Grind specify that the villain has to be alive.
Villain Decay is quote when villains go from "real threat" to "real joke", and when it happens over time after multiple appearances. Deidara wasn't treated as a joke, he just didn't win. It was his third major appearance and comparing to those three appearances he did not become noticeably more ridiculous. If anything he became noticeably more of a threat. Infinite regen + nuke scale Action Bomb. Crazy stuff.
The premise that the people who beat Deidara are weaker than Gaara is a completely meaningless distinction. Whether or not they are weaker than Gaara they still won, and it wasn't treated as a humorous event. They level grinded and Deidara did not. Almost as if he, a villain, forgot to level grind. [lol]
Similarly, the Edos weren't much weaker than the originals, they were just as powerful as when they were alive. Key word, just as powerful. But the heroes aren't. They got stronger, so previously fearsome villains are no longer as significant a threat as they were previously.
The article for Villain Forgot to Level Grind describes the situation exactly. There is no way it is anything but.
Edited by Eagal You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Nope, When Deidara was live was able to give to Gaara and Sasuke a good fight. When he resurrected was defeated by Sai and Kankuro that are much weaker.
Even with grinding kankuro and Sai are still much weaker than Gaara.
Alive Deidara = Gaara >> Kankuro and Sai > Edo Deidara
Edited by 216.99.32.44He gave them good fights because he was in an advantageous position and had extensively prepared for fighting them or someone like them.
Kankuro et al being weaker than Gaara is meaningless. They still won and it wasn't treated as a joke. It was simply a matter of being strong enough and being able to exploit Deidara's weaknesses.
Just because they weren't overwhelmingly more powerful doesn't mean their advancement didn't play a part in their victory, as did Deidara's lack of advancement.
At best, the case could be made that Sasori's lack of puppets made him less of a threat because he was deprived of his weapons, but that's still neither Badass nor Villain Decay.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Any problems with adding an image of unmasked Tobi under his profile?
Pulled Good Is Not Nice, Big Good and Good All Along from Itachi's list. His goals may have been good, but that doesn't mean Itachi wasn't evil.
Also, Driving Question, which is a central plot point, not a question of what Ass Pull technique he used to escape an inescapable trap.
P.S. What's the story on the color coding? It's really annoying...
Edited by Eagal You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! Hide / Show RepliesI was asked to do so for the consistency with the Straw Hat Pirates. They are color coded based on ring colors.
Total sentence imposed is 天When Tobi's true identity comes out, what will we do? Will we combine character pages with whoever he really is? Like, let's say he's *flame shield* Obito. Will Obito be removed from Other Leaf Village Members? If that's the case, someone not caught up will notice he's no longer there and deduce his identity. We have to prepare for this to prevent massive editing (I'm a hypocrite, I know). So, I would like to say that when Tobi's true identity comes out, leave the character page of whoever it happens to be unchanged, and then add the post-revelation tropes to Tobi's (spoiler-tagged, of course).
If one were to go to Obito's character page and see tons and tons of spoiler-tagged text, revelation will be obvious.
Total sentence imposed is 天 Hide / Show RepliesWhich means they're not an example. As surprising as it may sound, a group of ten people doesn't fit a trope which is about groups of five people.
Do you mean that there is a page that lists Black Beard pirates as a five-bad band? If so, they should be removed as it's misuse.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. Thanks for pointing it out; I've removed a few of the "examples" from that section which were extreme misuse. I haven't the time to do more, and it'd probably warrent a thread somewhere to define how flexible the trope is and clean things up.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. What if Tobi is an imprinted Zetsu clone of the original Madara? It would explain how he could summon Kyuubi, but couldn't use any of his stronger moves. It explains why his arm had white goop seeping from it after being ripped off. Also, his "split" personality.
Pulled:
- Immortality: Strongly implied to be a Type II.
Immortality was split into subtropes. Types are no longer acceptable to use. Type II became Age Without Youth, however, it was frequently misused for Type VI, which became The Ageless. there is not enough context here to tell which was meant.
Please read Zero Context Example and return this example to the page with the correct subtrope and enough context to be a good example.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.
I think mutants should be in here. Possibly due to the way Kisame and Kakuzu look.
