Finished SOTS: The Pit. On Easy. After like ten tries. I am not good at roguelikes. One of the main reasons I got through at all was that the Brawler PBA decided to grace me with its presence early on.
There is no disdain in nature, there is no humiliation.Finished Dragon Age: Origins. Thank the Maker for adjustable difficulty sliders. That last fight against the Archdemon was a pain in the nuts.
My next goal is to do some work on either the Awakening or Witch Hunt expansion [for filling out the Tapestry before it eventually goes offline]. Which one should I do first?
I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life! For the first time since I owned the game, which is lo those many years, I finally finished the Oasis quest in Stalker: Call of Pripyat. Yay me! Guide dang it indeed.
Shogun 2. Finally conquered Shikoku and established a foothold in the main island. Now I'm gonna try to surround Kyoto and turtle for some turns.
Everyone call me elf monsterI have started the Skell test in Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Current level: 38, halfway to 39.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300Puzzle And Dragons: 0-stoned Zeus-Mercury Descended on my first run, which was blind. Okay so I was using my +297 Awoken Bastet with a hypermaxed Verdandi friend, but that team is incomplete, I have no clerics (which meant stalling out two 3-turn binds on 3 subs, both of which hit Bastet), and I didn't know what I was facing in the dungeon.
Also managed to beat Takeminekata Descended on Legend using a seriously godawful Awoken Lakshmi team, which included a level 50 non-awakened Beast Rider Wiz Merlin and a level 65, non-ulted, non-awakened Commerce Deity Hermes. Beat the dungeon 3 times, getting the drop on the third. Once Takeminekata and Kaguya-hime are evolved, Awoken Amaterasu is mine!
Two recent accomplishments:
1. Finished The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons (unlinked game). The final battle with Onox was HARD, made even worse by the fact that I tried every combination of items possible and couldn't hurt him, and when I looked it up online... oh, you have to hit him with spin attacks? Talk about hard to figure out, since ordinary sword strikes do nothing.
2. Finally cleared Atlantia in Kingdom Hearts, after a stupid moment on my part: I had forgotten to equip the Mermaid Kick ability after getting it, and then wandered around Atlantia fighting numerous Heartless for hours trying to find Ursula. I looked up the solution online, equipped the ability (and did my best Homer Simpson "D'oh" impression), and found Ursula within 2 minutes and beat her on my first attempt. At least now my party's nicely overleveled because of all the giant swarms of Heartless I kept bumping into while wandering around aimlessly.
Come, my child of the devil. Your mother is calling you. Hear my call in Hell's grand hall, where all our dreams come true.Finished Gothic 2 (including NOTR). See this post (scroll down a little) for my thoughts on the game.

I finally completed Diablo III as the Barbarian.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Rayman Legends: Rescued all 700 Teensies, got all gold trophies, unlocked all creatures, scratched all lucky tickets, and have accumulated over 500,000 Lums.
So basically I just have two more characters to unlock and I will have done everything in the game.
Somehow you know that the time is right....few days ago, in Ace Combat Zero, I accidentally flew into Excalibur's laser beam during the Merlon mission.
I have no idea how, but I got out of the beam with exactly 1% health remaining. "Cutting it close" is an understatement.
Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon: Recruited the Regi Quadrology as well as Victini (victini can apparently appear super early for most people so why did he wait until well into post game for my V-Creating Gremlin)
And then there was silenceBeat Bayonetta.
Game is surprisingly hard. Not über punishingly so, but still difficult to avoid death.
Got to the city limits of Limansk in Stalker: Clear Sky after a prolonged period of sniper dueling.
As of yesterday, more than half of my planes in Ace Combat Zero has a maxed-out kill counter. 20 planes with 999 kills each plus a few kills by other planes means I have about 21000 kills tallied up. And I'm not done yet.

Made way to Limansk hospital after fighting my way through Limansk proper in Stalker: Clear Sky.
Just finished Stalker: Clear Sky on Master difficulty.
Just finished Legends of Aranna (the expansion to Dungeon Siege), on normal difficulty.
Ultimately it didn't have that much that was genuinely new over the original Dungeon Siege. I'd say the writing was a bit better, and it had some aesthetic choices that didn't appear in the original, but mostly it was just more of the same. More player-friendly than the Gothic games but not as challenging or interesting, and still not really a worthy successor to Diablo 1 and 2 despite the more advanced graphics.
I did play it differently, though: Given the annoyance of managing the pack animals in the original, this time through I decided not to use pack animals at all, and also not to have any melee characters at all, and to recruit up to my party limit (by taking all of the companions except one; I left behind the utraean on the beach since he was a melee build). This simplified the tactics since I could more or less keep my entire party in a single group. I ended up with four archers, two nature mages and two combat mages.
That said, maybe the game wasn't intended to be played with as many as eight characters. What with the experience being split eight ways, my characters weren't leveled high enough to wear the best gear, and I found some of the later stages of the game fairly difficult, in that enemies were taking a long time to die and my characters seemed quite fragile. The final boss fight was the toughest of all, and one of a few places in the game where I found myself forced to use summons to distract the enemies. (In fact, I think one of my summons got the final blow on the Shadowjumper, because my characters were running away at the time and suddenly he just died.)
Next up, Morrowind!

It wasn't by the skin of my teeth is rhe real best part. I was getting by by producing and trading in bandages and alcohol, and my stalls were mostly fully upgraded. My whole settlement was able to sustain itsslf to the point that I didn't need to scavenge for the last few days.
