And man, no wonder doesn't just resort to "BLAZBLUE ACTIVATE" all of the time, every time he uses the damn thing, he has force himself to become a Black Beast.

It's true, Kagura didn't get to SEE Enchant Dragnuv 4 from Azrael, but the fact Azrael thought Kagura (Hope Empowered) was strong enough to see that means that Kagura (Hope Empowered) was a more worthy prey than Hakumen (33-40%), Azura Ragna, Bullet (Angry), and Izanami (Filler Villain Mode).

Therefore, using theoretic stuff afterwards, that means if Azrael decided to also use Enchant Dragnuv against Susano'o, then Kagura (Hope Empowered) could also beat Susano'o.

Of course, then there's also the confusion of Jin in this equation. Jin was able to freeze Azrael as he was releasing Enchant Dragnuv 4, which means Azrael probably was in a state of Enchant Dragnuv 3.5 or something like that. That means Jin's ice is just a little below Kagura (Hope Empowered) on the power scale...

EXCEPT, then this same Jin goes on to fight Ragna, who is explicitly NOT using the Azure during their fight. And this Ragna wins, and that was after he spent energy fighting Susano'o, Terumi and Noel in a row. 2 out of 3 rounds for each to boot. So here's how the powerscale goes:

Ragna (Base) > Ragna (Idea Engine Full Power) = Susano'o = Kagura (Hope Empowered) = Azrael (Enchant Dragnuv 4) > Jin = Azrael (Enchant Dragnuv 3.5) > Everyone else

Everyone else including Dark War Hakumen, Dark War Jubei, and Nine? XD

Dark War Hakumen isn't really any different from Susano'o except having Ookami, and Jubei and Nine really can't compare to Azrael and Izanami I'd think.

Dude you're putting WAY too much thought into this. Power levels are not a science. You can't say what Kagura's power is just by what limiter Azrael chose to unleash when it's made clear that he was just being angry. Also, Azrael's reason to release the limiter wasn't power, but speed. Even fully sealed, Azrael was physically stronger than Kagura, the problem was he couldn't hit Kagura since he had no technique. All Azrael was trying to do was make himself fast enough to overcome the technique gap. You can't compare that to something like who he releases what limiters for. Honestly it's not a good idea to try and measure power levels in a story like this, aside from maybe very broad tiers. You're trying to make everything a single value but that ignores things like power vs. speed vs. technique and different match ups. Not to mention most of the characters can have wildly varying levels of power depending on the circumstances (Ragna with or without Azure Grimoire, Rachel pre or post-intervention, Jin with or without Power of Order etc.). All we can reliably say is that Susano'o is the strongest character, being a god, able to curb stomp several strong characters at once and with his only weakness being that Terumi's fusion with the Susano'o Unit wasn't complete (if not for that even limiter-removed Azure Grimoire Ragna would've lost).

Jubei is what the plot wants him to be.

And considering how the plot wants him out of the way most of the time, I'm not shocked his strongest being moniker is bullshit.

Well actually, Jubei DOES have a blade that can cut anything. Frankly, that's a pretty good reason to keep him out of the plot considering if he was around for Relius, Azrael or shit even Terumi, ALL OF THEM WOULD BE DEAD.

Then he shouldn't have had the blade. If you make a character so powerful, that you keep having to make up excuses to keep them out of it so they don't break the plot, then that means they're too fucking powerful.

It didn't help that they kept teasing Jubei getting involved in the fight as a playable character then refusing to do anything.

In other words, Kagura is the strongest character because fuck you.

What is this Hope shit tho

Well if I will be fair to Mori's writing on this one, Jubei kept getting locked out of the fights because of Nine/Phantom. A mage, a flying one at that, would be the best counter to a swordsman, especially if there's nothing around that would allow Jubei to leap at them.

Now maybe if Jubei fought Susano'o and kept on going even at 0 HP while Susano'o dropped Holy and Meteor on him

Great comparing Azrael to Barbatos was bad enough now I'm comparing Jubei to Galuf too. Now maybe if they actually proved Jubei's strength BY ACTUALLY FUCKING SHOWING IT I'd buy it a bit easier.

I think you guys are overestimating Jubei and Musashi. Designed to "cut things that cannot normally be cut" does not necessarily mean it can cut through absolutely anything, that falls into the no limits fallacy. If Musashi could kill anything Jubei would have been the one to kill the Black Beast. We don't know if it would work on Azrael since everything about him is unnatural. Despite having no known defenses the guy can shrug off bullets so who knows what's going on with him. I also doubt it would work on Terumi (at least not fully) since only Hihiirokane is treated as his weakness. It's not an instant kill like the Immortal Breaker (or at least it's supposed to be since it never gets to work). Jubei's hardly broken. Nine is his hard counter and he couldn't do anything against Izanami.

Figured I'd put this here since more people will see it.

So on the Blaz Blue Shout-Out page the list of general references color palettes (a.k.a. palette 13) for Central Fiction is incomplete. I found this tweet which provides pictures for what every color is referencing but the problem is I am unfamiliar with many of the series shown so I cannot tell who they are by picture. If anyone can recognize anymore of the references either let me know or add them to the page directly. Here's a list of characters who have not yet been identified. Ragna, Jin, Rachel, Bang, Carl, Hakumen, Makoto, Valkenhayn, Platinum, Relius, Azrael, Terumi, Celica, Naoto and Mai. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

I see:

• 3 Adventure Time references (Tager and Arakune as Finn and Jake, respectively with one other character being Princess Bubblegum [the pink one]).
• 4 RWBY references (Bullet as Yang[why does that sound familiar?], Taokaka as Blake, Izayoi as Weiss and I think Es as Ruby)
• a Puyo Puyo refernce (though I recognized that by artstyle) at the upper right of the first image
• right next to "Jake" is Liechi as either a Touhou (Tenshi) or Kono Subarashii Sekai Ni Shukufuku O (Aqua) reference.
• The middle of the 2nd image is one referencing Osomatsu-kun (or Osomatsu-san)
• Last image has Izanami as CC (Code Geass) and next to her references a character from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt (either Scanty or Kneesocks)

• Jin's palette is Uguisumaru from Touken Ranbu
• Makoto's palette is probably referencing KanColle
• Platinum's palette is probably referencing one of the Pretty Cure anime.
• Terumi's palette is based off the Psychic class from 7th Dragon.
• Naoto's palette is a reference to Zapp Renfro from Blood Blockade Battlefront

Okay I coudn't find a Jo Jo chartcer that matches Azrael's palette, but I did find that Celica's matches Mamori and Mirei
