Homestuck & Touhou exist in the same reality.

The world the kids live in at the start of Homestuck and the "outside world" of Touhou are one and the same.

...I don't have much evidence to back this up, but I have created such a vast web of WMGs surrounding this central idea that I felt I needed to make a thread about it.

A few to start with:

• Trolls are a type of Youkai.
  • This brings up the possibility that Trolls are descended from Gensokyan Youkai (perhaps a group of Oni?) who wound up on Alternia via some kind of Negative Space Wedgie.
    • If that is true, then the existence of the Troll species and the existence of Earth itself are mutually dependent on each other in yet another Stable Time Loop.
  • This also means that Gensokyan Youkai are likely to have Troll-like psycologies (and concepts of romance).

• Rose grows up to be Yukari.
  • Both have a stong association with the color purple, both have blonde hair, and Rose seems to be fast approaching the level of hax that Yukari has.

I had always thought of Dave becoming Youki, just as I consider Rose becoming Yukari.

• If this is true, then "Half-Ghosts" may actually be "Half-Kernelsprites". Dave->Youki became what he is today due to some wierd stuff involving the self-prototyping thing, and passed it on to his daughter. Youki's Myon has crow wings & a sword sticking through it, and Youmu's Myon will seek prototypings when she comes of age.
  • Since sprites are drawn to the dead, Yuyuko seems a likely choice for the prototyping of Youmu's Myon.
• If Dave is Youki and Rose is Yukari, than that makes Youmu Yukari's Niece.

I was hoing this thread would be a bit more... lively, what with all the people here who are fans of both homestuck and Touhou.

This is now a thread for Homestuck sockpuppets, Touhou sockpuppets, and non-sockpuppet tropers to all interact with each other. Because doing this in any other context would be exessivley obnoxious.

ALSO,...

• Perhaps in an alternate universe, there's another set of twelve trolls, themed after the Eastern Zodiac, who not only beat the game, but managed to avoid meeting English. Sure enough, they become the ancestors of all Oni in Gensokyo, all other youkai (and humans) being created via Sburb.
• Rose becoming Yukari isn't too far-fetched, but you'd have to wonder whether or not Bec inspired Ran (I doubt Ran was aware of Jaspers when creating Chen).
• Dave and Aradia somehow hook up via Weird Time-Space Shit (perhaps he wasn't in love with Terezi after all), and their child would become the Vampire Huntress Later Known as Sakuya Izayoi.
• Vriska and the Snake troll (from the earlier WMG) elope and produce Ologee, who unfortunately becomes so immoral that people demonize him into Orochi.
• And then there's Marisa, who seems unsettlingly Rose-like (blond hair, powerful magic, refusal to be of the "sweet little girl" stereotype,...).

So, I found this.

As if the random Zodiac in the video wasn't suspicious enough, there are 12 flowers in the last part.

Hina, by taking away the trolls' misfortune, has not only given them many hours of time where they aren't being obliterated by Lord English, but opened a window in reality, allowing them to encounter & interact with the kids period.

Edit: Okay, I failed a counting check there. There are actually 16 flowers. Could possibly be even more relevant.
