Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Door was closed and windows shut.
It wasn't the whole windshield, maybe the bottom 40%. Also, the outside of the car was completely ice-free.
GROSS. I have only had that happen once. Luckily, my plans for that day could be put off, so I went back inside all like, "NOPE. Fuck that. It is too cold, I'm done with this day, it's pajama time."
Now that I'm "essential personnel," I can't do that anymore. (Essential personnel means that I work for a place that doesn't close. Weather is not an excuse for missing work. I walked to work during the flood since the roads were closed.)
Kpop dance class starts up again on the 24th with Red Velvet's "Peek-A-Boo"! I'm wondering if the two tops I've picked out will be sparkly enough or if it's time to go shopping...

"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisThe good news is my vacation time from work is still set for next week. :) The bad news is I canceled my travel plans because, as I've told my family and friends, Texas is out and Florida is back in. >.< ^_^;; So now I'm trying to think of some other fun things I can do for my week off.
I like to keep my audience riveted. If I had a week off, I would....
- Start a new video game
- Spend a day wandering around downtown
- Spend a day at a fun place, like a pool or a trampoline park
- There has to be a pajama day or two in there
- Do some work (in the case of someone planning a cross-country move, that would be apartment hunting or budgeting—in my case, though, it would be garden planning)
- Go to bed when I'm tired and wake up when I'm done sleeping
- Maybe take a day trip to an interesting little town, money permitting
This whole time I've been reading your name as Raspymonk
New theme music also a boxA monk breaking a vow of silence could probably be described as raspy.
Fresh-eyed movie blogWork today was tiring, but not too bad. Now that the family visiting is done with, I'm gonna pour myself a glass of Jameson and toast to myself for being another year older. Got some neat gifts too.
I have only heard the song "Confrontation" from Jekyll and Hyde preformed well once. And it doesn't matter the actor. Half these guys sounds amazing in the other songs, but then this song it's just...no.
I think the issue is people don't even try with the emotions and it just comes across as screaming to a melody. Understandable, I guess, it's probably hard to switch between "I'm totally not scared of you. Totally not." and "You're so cute when you're trying to act tough."
I put an awful lot of thought into how to preform songs for some one who can't read music.

Apparently this version of Hyde looks like a Jojo's character. According to people who have seen that anime and I guess understand it.They found a wooden 17th century well twenty feet underground near my home. Right on the -1 floor of the subway station they're building there. Which is doubly strange as they already dug all the way to the bottom of -2 floor and already set up both tunnel-boring machines there.

HiYep, 's what I thought. But, here's the kicker: there are two pre-war family houses, probably dating back to at least the late 19th century, still standing among apartment blocks that were built from the 1920s (and had one or two top floors knocked off by the Germans) to the 2000s (my block is early commie era, there are three 10-floor blocks from the seventies and a new development that replaced a rickety corrugated steel construction that housed a VHS rental and a supermarket back in the day). I'm guessing that the well must have been found next to one of those... and wondering what's under the houses themselves.

"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisI've just been reminded of that Kirby: Canvas Curse commercial where Kirby makes friends with a walking finger.
...I've also been reminded that Nintendo used "touching is good" as a tagline for the DS.

Took me a while to get the Menelaos-sponge cake pun on Eddie Izzard's page. Then I realized it's pronounced "Manylayos" in English.
The fact that some particularly literate people use that name in reference to winos over here (since "menel" is the local word for winos, bums and the like) didn't help.

"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisYou know what would be cool? If there was another Lufia made into a DS-version the way Lufia 2 was!
Just in general, do you ever have no clue what people are talking about? Am I growing old, or do I just not know anything?
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.
Hmm maybe humidity started to condense into droplets that froze on to the windshield and started to accumulate?
