Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I'm surprised about the lack of the color orange on this site.
No, that's better, I think that America had enough of the color orange lately, and the rest of the world isn't that thrilled by it either.
Well, except Netherlands.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisGot the urge to come back here even though I feel I don't really belong so your guess to why is as good as mine.
Getting hit with a fish has GOT to be humiliating. (They/them, please)Well, people come and go all the time. I came back myself to give this site another shot a month or two after leaving the first time. One guy I've pm:ed with for quite a while left this site indefinitely almost a year ago and it's too bad that I just happened to have had enough of some media where he could be contacted. Facebook's poured out of my ears a long time ago and I've never needed Skype despite any hyping to the contrary(and lots of hyping tends to turn me off anyways).
Perhaps you can surf some articles?
I read the entire Sherlock Holmes series last year. There's certainly a lot of dudes in it.
When people say "It's not you, it's me", they sadly don't imply that they intend to work on their issues.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisI've heard it said that nerds like British comedy, and it seems to be true. Why is that?
Hey.British comedy (the kind that gets internationally popular anyway) tends to be particularly clever.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI still say David in Once Upon a Time looks a lot like Alistair in Dragon Age.
I like to keep my audience riveted. That is true, and it's one of the reasons that I enjoy it.
That said, I am also a sucker for slapstick. Not sure whether that increases or decreases my nerd cred, but I'm too busy watching pratfalls and cat videos to notice. :D
Anyone notice how some folks, in an otherwise completely on-topic comment, will drop a completely off-topic remark? In a lot of cases, I'd like to counter/ comment on the off topic remark, but don't wish to derail the thread. Is that why people do that, so they can say provocative stuff without having it challenged?
They are lucky, normally someone calls you out,but not everyone wants to drag the thread off topic,so they go on unchallenged
New theme music also a boxSo I'm wondering what would happen if I put a low pressured cube into a high pressure cube and then put a the high pressured cube into a other lower pressured cube. So far I've concluded that if all have same volume (total volume- other box) and pump the air that was once in the 2 lower pressured ones into the higher pressured box then nothing will happen. Right?
HiIt's cubes all the way down.

Hey.I occasionally find myself going on tangents when thinking about things, and that can show off on text sometimes. Or maybe people are used to threads that have a looser topic policy.
Great. The very cool Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex has its own Second Part. >.<
I like to keep my audience riveted.Movies nowadays always seem to be two parters.
On another note, my doggo just threw up a bit.
The best Gatherer comments are the ones that are all:
"WHAT A HORRIBLE CARD WHY DID WIZARDS LET THIS OP BULLSHIT THROUGH
I have four in my deck."
(Gatherer, BTW is a Magic card database.)
What is it with Microsoft Word and 11-point size Calibri Body font?
I like to keep my audience riveted.Everytime someone uses the dog filter on Snapchat I lose a little bit more faith in humanity.
I've already lost all faith in humanity! ...Though, when it comes to things that make me annoyed, text-wise, people who use emojis like this are the most annoying.
Ever since I played Undertale, I've been wondering if using alternate ways of text could help with a character's personality. One detail I really liked about Undertale was the fonts and ways of typing the characters used. It gives you a better idea of their personality, in a game that's already brimming with it.
I remember Live A Live did something similar, so, I wonder if Toby Fox was inspired by that. He has heard of/played the game, since Megalovania took inspiration from Megalomania, after all.
"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"MS Word had 12-point Times New Roman as its default for years because it was considered the most legible for printing.
Office 2008 or whatever changed the default to 11-point Calibri because 11 is about as legible as 12 and it saves paper when you print (I think they also reduced the default margins), and Calibri because while a serif font like TNR is more readable on paper, on a screen where most writing lives now, sans-serif is clearer. (And Windows doesn't ship with Helvetica.)
You can change the defaults in Settings.

Fresh-eyed movie blogOh yeah, I forgot about that. ^_^;; Thanks. :)
Unless I'm publishing my books. Then I have to use 14-point Garamond.
I like to keep my audience riveted.
Why, it's Elementary.
Also, I think that I got in too deep in matters best told about in the late, great Nunnery thread. Brains and Bondage be damned.
EDIT: Of course I clicked the link to the trope above.
