If you have a pixiv account the yaoi tags on there can be epically hilarious.

The gems are few and far between, though. And I'm sad I can't copy-paste the actual yaoi tag since I'm not sure what to do about the characters.

As for actual discussion, I still find it awkward when I hear girls in the anime club—I'm in high school, by the way—talk about yaoi. I saw one of them at our local con and she was talking and/or bragging about how she spent all night watching yaoi. Erm, okay. Hopefully I'm not going to meet some guy later in life brag to me in a public area about how he watched porn all night. On the other hand, I back away from pretty much anything risque, so maybe I'm just a prude.
