I found the perfect Yaoi blog (NSFW) and it's been my life the past few weeks.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comI'm not sure if I really consider myself a "yaoi fangirl," but my all-time OTP is USUKUS. Not sure if Hetalia or this pairing have been mentioned yet in this thread, sorry if so. I know both Hetalia and USUK have really bad reputations, but I cannot bring myself to care. The dynamic of this pairing is so beautiful, as are the fanart and fanfic. I find it rather easy to avoid the crazy parts of fandom and focus on how much I love this pairing with others who feel similarly.
The baby bat/ Screamed out in fright,/ 'Turn on the dark,/ I'm afraid of the light.'Teahouse isn't particularly far in yet but I quite like it, it's art style is reminiscent of Revolutionary Girl Utena.
There is also Starfighter
...that is not the right link.

oddlyIt should be WebComic/{{Starfighter}}. That'll show up as Starfighter.
It seems like most people complain about it because of bad story/characters/etc. but what got me to stop reading was the Tethercat Principle...
I stopped a few months ago, and in my mind Abel is still giving that stupid blow job to Cain.
I gave up on Teahouse, too, once I realized that all the characters I'm kind of interested (namely, the guy with all the sex toys and Argent) in are the ones that are never going to be developed. But I do like the future queen's hair. Also, the art is also not too bad.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Cause queerbaiting is EXACTLY what we want.
Read my stories! What exactly is the difference between "queerbaiting" and just happening to have gay characters?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Queerbaiting is when you DON'T have gay characters, but when you have Straight Characters Who Lol Sometimes Act Not Straight Isn't That Nifty But Mark My Words They Are Straight lol.
Read my stories!Oh. Yeah, that's pretty dumb.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."My OTP has always been Kyo/Yuki, of Fruits Basket. Although I did read some slashfics before then, that ship was the one that really got me into yaoi, and still remains as my favourite pairing to this day. I dunno, I just love the whole Foe Yay dynamic of it all, especially when Kyo's an adorable Tsundere XD
Other than that, I'm really into the Naruto pairing Zabuza/Haku at the moment. The conclusion of the Land of Waves arc was... just so sad. I haven't read much fanfics of these two yet, but the ones I have read are absolutely gorgeous. My personal headcanon is that Haku's had a crush on Zabuza all this time and thought it was onesided. Just... yeah.
Aren't they, like, brothers or something? (Been a while since I watched FB.)
Join my forum game!Oh like two characters being related has ever stopped anyone.
i. hear. a. sound.Cousins. I did read a couple fics pairing Yuki with Ayame though... they were very disturbing.
Not that incest pairings squick me out; I like Zero/Ichiru a little more than I should...
I quite like "Hey Class President", but that's the only yaoi anime I've ever watched. And even then, I've only watched OVA 2 because it never fails to make me happy.
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkdAh, this thread's back. I missed it. :)
I don't think I'd consider Kyo/Yuki my OTP anymore, but I simply can't decide on my current OTP It must be either Sasuke/Naruto (they're overrated, I know, but I can't help it) or Mordecai/Rigby (the more Mind Screw and Nightmare Fuel, the better). I haven't seen much yaoi anime, but I'm hoping to look into No6 soon. I've read some discussions of it in this very thread, so is it a good anime?
Oh, and has anyone read Offbeat? It's an OEL manga and it's not explicit at all, but it is pretty good. You should give it a shot.

I've heard No.6 described as "kind of a generic dystopian YA novel, but with a good gay romance".
I was just looking at the YMMV page and apparently it uses a lot of Dystopia cliches. Nevertheless I will get to whatever I can read or watch (light novel, manga, anime, whatever) so I can see for myself.
I would love to see more decent gay romances in fiction, but yaoi itself, by the usual definition... is kind of insulting and unrealistic for the most part, if not in an *especially* harmful way? Yes, I understand that there are reasons why young women might find this sort of stereotyped, heteronormative form of male/male pairing appealing, but that doesn't make it any less silly and potentially hurtful. And let's not get into the glorification of what amounts to abusive behaviour and even sexual assault in a lot of works in the genre...
A lot of the same can be said for slashfic, although I certainly do not believe that the concept of pairing two improbable male character is inherently bad, at all. I mean, I am male, and, errr, not straight, shall we say? It's not like I haven't been there. But I dislike the idea of being fetishised, particularly by people who seem to have no experience with real queer people.

I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Germany/Italy is my yaoi OTP. Though, to be fair, it's pretty hard to come up with any heterosexual pairings for Hetalia as the only recurring females are Hungary, Liechtenstein, Ukraine, and Belarus.
I don’t even know anymore.This is true.
ppppppppfeiufiofuiorjfadkfbnjkdflaosigjbkghuiafjkldjnbaghkdYeah, pretty much. There's probably a bunch more minor females (Belgium and Seychelles, for example, but I haven't seen much of them), but I'm not totally sure since I only watch the anime.
-cue the mass of angry Hetalia fans-
Really, Germany and Italy are the closest there is to a couple in the series (if you exclude Austria and Hungary's past relationship) but they are just...so...cute!
I don’t even know anymore.I agree~ I love Ger Ita! There's an anime that reminds me of them. A Yaoi anime. xD
