This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here

- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

As part of a TRS effort for Longing for Fictionland, all audience reactions of the trope were cut. I decided to go fix them in the wicks to make it obvious that it's supposed to be an in universe trope, but the page for Avatar is locked. Could you please remove or rewrite the line containing it from that page?

A line about The Anti-Nihilist needs to be added to Nietzsche Wannabe. My recommendation is add a new line to the description:
"See also The Anti-Nihilist. While the Nietzsche Wannabe lives in an uncaring world and sees no reason not be evil, The Anti-Nihilist sees no reason not to be good."
Just off the top of my head. It does a need a reference, though.
I added the reference. I used a different wording since I figured we've just explained what the Nietzsche Wannabe is. These two tropes would fit on the Opposite Tropes page.
Dodongo Dislikes Smoke was renamed to Feed It a Bomb. All wicks are cleand but TV Tropes The TV Show and Episode Idea Bin which are locked.

Evil Pedophile has a troubled ykttw for it — it's part of the fallout from the Lolicon TRS thread. But for the moment we don't need that redlink (and it might not end up with that name). So done and done.

Wicks don't show up properly for cut pages. It has to be redirected first.
Yeah? I'm seeing three bad wicks.
When a page is cut, the "Related to" page resets and all the wicks disappear from it. Then, whenever a page with a wick on it is edited, it reappears in the list. So the wicks gradually trickle back in as their pages are edited. Naturally, this makes cleanup basically impossible.

Yeah, when renaming it's best to fix absolutely every wick before going anywhere near the cut list. May as well fix the ones we can though.
