Alright, confess odd things.
Excessive complaining isn't allowed anywhere on the site. Keep it out of this thread.
For example, I'm jealous to my big brother becuase he discovered The Smiths first. Dammit, now I can't have a crush for Morrisey without feeling weird about it.

You know, I didn't think that I was kinda of a drama hound but...here I am?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.I like the smell of gasoline
"Death is a blessing for foolish human beings" - Goku BlackOddly, so do I. But I figure it can't be good to inhale gasoline fumes...
I may need to to take speech therapy classes if I am going to do voice work. Also, I am simultaneously both cautious and reckless when it comes to doing most things. I just feel that I need some grasp about a subject before I talk about it. I am also very lethargic as a result of staying up at night or getting enough sleep.
"Eratoeir is a Gangsta."Regarding Chik Fil A from last page, they were at our local Pride Event a few years ago and were giving away free food. They had no problems with us at all. Apparently Franchises not corporate owned are not held to any beliefs other than their own.

Devypu's~ Big Pony :3When I was a kid, every summer I had dreams where we only got a few weeks of summer before we had to go back to school, and I didn't know where to go. Now those dreams are Harsher in Hindsight, since after two weeks of "relaxing"note , I'm taking my first college-level online classes.
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :DThere's a tree near where I work. It's an evergreen tree, I don't know what kind. It is growing a bunch of new, bright green needles, and I am just SO PROUD of it. I don't know why. I don't know this tree, I've never interacted with it (until today, when I took a picture), but my heart swells whenever I see all those new needles.
You did good, tree, you did good.
You know, I'm an avowed lover of horror but I've never watched or played or even read any horror. I just love Nightmare Fuel.

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. You should try reading a Stephen King novel if you like horror.
“We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.” - Lewis CarrollOr HP Lovecraft! If you're into the Cosmic stuff
and Which ones would you recommend?

TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Stephen King's shorter books would be good to ease into it before getting into the tree genocides. I'd personally recommend Misery, as it's one of the more well-known and one of my personal favorites. If you want to read in sequentially, Carrie is his first and pretty short
As for Lovecraft, I'd read them in the order that he wrote them, since while most of his stories feature different characters and plots and aren't strictly sequential there is a continuity and in order to fully get into the 'verse you'd want to pick up all the bits and pieces in order.

I'd personally recommend The Shining and it's sequel Doctor Sleep. Those are my favorites. Also Cell is the first Stephen King book I read and it makes cell phones terrifying.

“We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.” - Lewis CarrollAnd honestly my best advice for getting into horror movies is to start with all the classics and then branch out once you've figured out what kind of styles and themes appeal to you
I can't get into horror because I have no suspension of disbelief. I know it's fiction; therefore, it can't scare me. There is literally no way a monster could be in my bed or closet, nor any way there could be a ghost in this house, etc. etc. etc.
As I've said, I still have a problem with any work of fiction with a villain in it. The second the baddie is established, I clock out because I know they're going to lose. I can't root for the hero because I know he's going to win.
I only just realized that burinnu's current avatar is actually two people.
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :DI don't like a High-School Dance. I've been to one and I left with a massive headache and I lost my voice cause the music was so loud. I'm a sophomore now and I've decided I'm not going to prom and lots of people are surprised when I say that. It sounds so childish and overrated to me. Knowing my school, it's going to have bad music and people will be doing drugs and drinking there. Besides, the girl I like lives in a different town. I'm probably the only one that feels that way in my school.
“We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.” - Lewis CarrollThe monster isn't always something extravagant or supernatural though. People were talking about Stephen King a few posts back and one of his famous novels just has a dog with rabies as the "monster".
There are stories where that doesn't happen, though. We even have a trope for that.
My Guilty Pleasures are watching and enjoying film credits, and making endless tutorial levels in Little Big Planet.
Both of those are hardly things to be guilty over my dude.
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Well, maybe not, but it sounds incredibly strange.
Also, to elaborate, I enjoy memorising film credits.
Then why set up something where we're going to be scared of something mundane? "I'm scared of the dog in this story, and thus don't ever want to touch even a chihuahua ever again."
That sounds even worse. Why have the good guy even try if the bad guy wins? Why should the reader be interested? Just sounds like a total downer of a story. Like the author's just cockteasing the reader.
Same reason I hate dystopian fiction: at the end of the day, win or lose, the protagonist is still struggling with everyone else for the last bucket of rusty rainwater and scrap of rat meat.
you're missing the entire point of fiction: it's the journey, not the destination, that matters
"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"
Regarding this face thing, I'm face-blind AND terrible with names.
I literally can't tell 99% of female celebrities apart. For instance, Jennifer Lawrence looks exactly like 14 trillion other shiny skinny blondes out there to me.
