Alright, confess odd things.

For example, I'm jealous to my big brother becuase he discovered The Smiths first. Dammit, now I can't have a crush for Morrisey without feeling weird about it.

The idea of myself actually falling in romantic love with someone freaks me the hell out, though I have no idea why. Though the whole asexual thing might explain it

I spend way too much time pondering how certain fictional characters would act in sexual situations.

Also, I find a lot of Long Runner franchises too overwhelming to even ask where I should start, so I don't even try. I still have seen zero seconds of Star Trek, for instance.

I just finished three books in one class period. Started and finished, to be more specific.

Due to my own self-perception I tend to enjoy the "overly mature child" archetype. Particularly when it's combined with Dude, Where's My Respect? and when they are also some form of prodigy.

By now, it's four. Starring Me (334 pages), Rootless (326 pages), The Education Of Hailey Kendrick (256 pages), and Sinner (357 pages). The third book was my favorite, the first book was the worst book of 2015 so far.

How long classes do you have?

Also, I'm curious, what are those about?

We have block periods on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. So, ninety minutes, in which I read three books and did some work. The fourth one was read during multiple classes, because I was busier.

Description of the books, in reading order: 1)The Education Of Hailey Kendrick- Semi-rich student at a boarding school who accidentally vandalizes the property and takes the fall for her friend. Her life is ruined. Will it get better?, 2)Rootless- Science fiction story about the environment, 3)Sinner- To be honest, I didn't understand it. I felt like I was reading a sequel. Something about a movie star who's a werewolf.

4)Starring Me- Awful, heavy-handed book. Teen movie/star. His parents want a Christian girl to co-star with him in a "teen Saturday Night Live." They organize a contest and assume that God will pick the star who is Christian to win. Our other protagonist is a girl who does not believe in God. She begins to believe in him through contrived plot lines. I have nothing against religious books, except when they are poorly-written. Not only did it sound like a Disney film, the 'comedy' wasn't funny and the 'drama' sketches were stupid.

I'm sorry if I sound less than enthusiastic about the books. I feel ill right now. I don't think my allergy medicine is working.

Not only did it sound like a Disney film,

The problem with that comparison is that Disney films are good.

...unless you're talking about the High School Musical style stuff, and not a combination of the Disney Animated Canon, Marvel, and Pixar...

Sorry, I forgot to fix that. It feels like a Disney live-action sitcom/tv movie.

I often find it annoying when one of my friends describes something as, or responds to something with "cool" because it makes him come across as shallow, vapid and just rather unintelligent. Then there are times when his response to something is legitimately "cool, cool" and I just wonder whether or not I'm actually having a conversation with Victor Ward.

What's wrong with "cool"? It's just a casual response.

[up] There's nothing inherently wrong with it, but it's the way and things to which he responds with "cool" that I find annoying. That's why I said "I find it annoying when one of my friends responds to things with 'cool'" and not "I find it annoying when people respond to things with 'cool'".

I really want to write a story in which a lawyer of some description manages to stop an alien invasion without firing a single bullet or killing any of the alien invaders, by negotiating terms of surrender and being a Fake Defector all the time, just to hold up the invaders while alien backup wins the day.

I'm scared of driving.

Considering that some of my family members have been in car accidents, I don't know how odd this confession is.

Considering how car accidents are one of the largest causes of deaths in modern society, I'd say it's not odd at all and depending on degree, it can even be healthy.

Strong and independent/confident woman.

You know, I'm not a misogynist ( I consider myself an egalitarian) , but because I've seen so many flame wars featuring that kind of term, especially in relation to work of fiction, that the phrase now automatically gives me a bad taste in mouth.

Exactly.

On that note, this whole not men shouldn't hit women thing.

No shit, they shouldn't. In a civilized world like our world, a person shouldn't hit another person in general outside of self-defense purpose, combat sports, or battlefield. It doesn't matter if men against men women against women, whatever.
