Concerning Squishy, just wait until it shows up. We'll worry about it then.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? What is "Squishy"?
A new Pokemon that travels with the group, like Meloetta.
The Protomen enhanced my life. It'll probably travel with the group for 10 or so episodes or however long the Team Flare arc goes on for. Similar to Larvitar from late Johto or Meoletta.
In retrospect I kind of wish Goomy was just a "tag along" pokemon instead of a capture, that way there wouldn't have been so much outrage when Ash released it.
x3 Specifically, it's Zygarde Core.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Depends, if Squishy travels with the gang up until the movie it's gonna be the longest.
Holy shit Froakie's past. You combine Sasuke and Naruto, you get Froakie! And man, this is a total upgrade from game Olympia! Easily the best depiction of Future Sight as well.
Pretty good episode even if it lacks action.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life. Those wanting action shouldn't worry; they'll get their fill next week.
I'll say it again: I'm thinking that the group will have at least a piece of Zygarde for most of the coming year, though by the time of Movie 19, Squishy will have fuzed with enough of its kind to have been Zydog for a while.
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck.In this week's news, Ash's Frogadier continues to be the best!mon.
I always love how much development Ash's "star pokemon" gets in each saga.
Charizard, Sceptile, Infernape and now Greninja. They were the star Pokemon of each respective region and got so much screentime and focus.
Its too bad neither Johto nor Unova had a Pokemon like this, although in Johto I suppose it was probably Bayleef.
So Serena has one more Princess Key she needs to get before she can enter the Master Class Showcase right? I'm thinking they'll be a showcase in Couriway Town, but she'll lose there and go through bit of a creative slump being so close to her goal only to have it snatched away. She'll pull herself together after encouragement from her friends/mother/rivals and win the Snowbelle City Showcase. Ash will win his 8th Gym Badge from Wulfric around the same time.
I don't know if its been said yet, but I think the Master Class Tournament will be held at either Lumiose City or Kiloude City.
Ash loses in the league again, but somehow receives an invite or information about there being many strong trainers at Kiloude, and decides to go there to challenge them. And the Master Class just happens to be at Kiloude as well, so Serena tags along.
Or he gets to go only because Serena gets into Master Class, and so he gets to tag along.

Give the God Eater game thread some love! The Grand Festivals were always before the leagues in every series, so I'm sure Serena's Master class will be before the Kalos league too.
The fact that Serena only needs 1 more key makes it obvious. The writers could have made it the same as Contests where she has to win 5 times, but the fact that its reduced to 3 for her makes it clear they just want to get her quest over with to make up for the lost time in the first year of XY without Serena having a goal. She'll probably lose one more and then win her last one.
So Olympia's vision at the start of the episode is stated to have implications for all of Kalos. With Anistar City being particularly impacted by what will happen. Ash and co. will of course be involved and Prof. Sycamore as being the "path" to what will go down.
So based on this it looks like they'll be going back to Anistar City for the climax of the Team Flare Arc. I think they'll make it as far as Couriway Town before they have to turn around.
EDIT: Also I loved Froakie's backstory. Seriously the feels it gave me.

Also I love how it's the power of love not friendship that can take Froakie to go the Ash-Greninja form.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.If the Team Flare arc involves "Squishy", then I doubt that it'll just be a single cour like the Plasma arc was. To me, the fact that Zygarde has 4 formes requires around 5 months of episodes at a minimum; some with Squishy, some with Zydog.
I'm thinking that Ash will go to Snowbelle relatively early in the Flare arc but find out that there's still a long time before the tournament. (e.g. at least 6 months as opposed to the usual 3 as cited in Kanto and IIRC Unova.)
Are you sure it was The Power of Love? Because if so, then either we've got yet another case of Interspecies Romance here, (and I might now have my Fourth Poke-Paramour to oppose Serena in a Scott Pilgrim-type scenario, in addition to Thirteen humans,) or we won't be able to see it much...
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck.Well it doesn't have to be romantic love.
But Tsunade-I mean Olympia was very precise that Ash possessed "ai" that managed to go through Froakie.
Hilarious in Hindsight if you think of all the odd "fondness" Kalosians have. You even have Pokemon-amie!

Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Indeed. Would you say that your family doesn't love you? And if you can't, would you accuse them of incest?
Of course not. It's a different kind of love.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!On a related note, people compare Squishy to Meloetta. I doubt Squishy would be just that. It is always shown in XYZ promotional material and merch and seems to last quite long than a simple arc.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Said promo materials, including the fact that we have a "perfect" forme for Zygarde that combines with the other 2 Legendaries, is the basis for why I think that the Team Flare Arc will amount to a full (western) season; I'd bet Pokedols to Pokepuffs that Game!Lysandre, in the upcoming Updated Re-release will either make a play for P.Z. or, like Cyrus in Platnium, will have his plans upended by P.Z..
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck.Ash Is A Father To His Pokemon.

Ya know, it took me until now to notice but I think I may know why Ash generally never evolves his Pokemon; most of his mons tend to be Fragile Speedster and focuses his battle style on movement and agility rather than raw power.
Its a rather subtle detail I never picked up and its consistent too with his current team; all of them have Speed as their highest base stat in the games lol
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Nobody ever said that. It just has power on par with/exceeding theirs.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Okay, the whole absorbing both of the other legends bit was a drastic leap on my part. But the Red and Blue stripes on Perfect Zy's "shoulder cloaks" implies some connection, though potentially no more than than being able to control and/or summon them at will. Still, that last would be enough to allow for a repeat of Platinum's Deus ex Machina.
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck.So is it appropriate to call it the Cell Saga?
So... how do we put Squishy in the character page? Is it relegated to "Others"? Also how come legitimate trope entries are preceded with the double-percent?
