Played it already and didn't like it. I appreciate the suggestion though!
What games really tempt the player with the prospect of looting as much of the enemy's money and treasure as possible?
Invisible Inc struck a great balance where one can attempt to loot every safe, but in doing so runs the risk of being spotted or extending the mission length.
Oh and hopefully such a game isn't a rogue-like. I have enough rogue-likes in my library as it is.
Any recommendation for this Steam Sale? I'm a Mac user and mainly play strategy, though anything with great visuals would be welcome. I've only gotten Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes so far - currently looking at Armello and The Great Whale Road. There's a bunch of indie/art titles that I'd love to play but are unavailable on Mac like Ori And The Blind Forest, Abzu and Brothers A Tale Of Two Sons, as well as the sub sim Cold Waters, which is a new release still priced at $39.
Also, I managed to discover Unity Of Command earlier this year and found the gameplay quite brilliant, if a bit bare-bones and often punishing in difficulty.
Echoing hymn of my fellow passerine | Art blog (under construction)I'm considering getting a PS 3. Does anyone has good suggestions for action-adventure games I can get? Also, some JRPG suggestions would be nice, too.
I really loved Night In The Woods. Anyone know of any good games that are similar?
Being another 2D, story-driven platformer, Wandersong kind of reminds me of it. It's still in development, though.
Awesomely enough, Steam has page for similar games
You can also replace 481510 with the ID of any game you want to find similar games to. It does a pretty good job.

I recommend Tales of Graces and Tales of Xillia.
I also liked the Lightning Trilogy Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 , and Lightning Returns) and Star Ocean: The Last Hope.
Some people like Resonance of Fate, but I don't. I legitimately quit trying to figure it out.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyHas anybody here mentioned Fire Pro Wrestling World? Cause I recommend the game . . . well it's not really release yet as it comes out on July 10th on Steam, but still it looks like an improved version of Fire Pro Wrestling Returns which I played and loved.
So, really, get Fire Pro Wrestling World if you love to create a bunch of characters and fight in old school arcade wrestling style!
Don't Judge me, need more views: https://www.deviantart.com/big-k-2011 | https://bigk1337.newgrounds.com/ | https://twitter.com/BigK64133I'm surprised no one has mentioned a Sega Genesis game. But I recommend one of the Looney Tunes games. (I was going to tell you the title but I can't say it out here for unknown reasons)
Please ask me if you want to know the title.
Sonic the Hedgehog and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fangirl. There are a lot of cool recommendations here, maybe I'll try some games, thanks
Since this thread is pretty inactive at the moment, lemme field some games that I liked and why:
- Armello - Turn-based digital board game inspired by Game of Thrones (just like a lot of things). Features online multiplayer, which can be slow when players don't take their turns quickly. You control one of four clan heroes whose goal is to either amass prestige and wait for the current king to pass on, or just off the current king outright with various means. Being jerks to other players and backstabbing is a must.
- Kamiko - A short and inexpensive top-down action-adventure game for the Switch. Not very difficult. Play as three different heroes with a bow, huge sword and a "shield" toss (it's actually a mirror but whatever).
- Guilty Gear Xrd series - Anime fighting game with deep mechanics and stylish combos. Known for (almost) ridiculously balanced roster. Netcode is "okay", so way better if you have friends or a local anime community to tangle horns with and get better at the game.
- Has-Been Heroes - A tough-as-nails randomized lane-based turn-based combat game. Pick three heroes and destroy the hordes of undead. Has "permadeath", but you still unlock some things even if you don't defeat the last boss in a run. (Obviously less than if you win of course.) Can be grindy and repetitive to get the ending.
- Puyo Puyo Tetris - The best (recent) Tetris game finally localized! Features a cast of zany characters who don't affect the gameplay at all, so pick the one(s) with the voice or looks that you like. Oh yeah, it also has Puyo Puyo style, which you can battle against Tetris with, or play in various party modes. Features online ranked play where you can pick Puyo or Tetris.
- Splatoon 2 - Colorful third-person shooter series. I think it's worth it just for the ability to use gyro controls alone making it the shooter with the most intuitive aiming system ever. Maps can have objectives which aren't focused on killing the enemy team, yet is the bloodiest game ever if you think about it hard enough. Also needs re-mentioning that its in third-person view, making it great for people like me who suffer from simulation sickness from first-person view games.
- Violett - An average point-and-click adventure game. But it's frequently at "90% off". At $2, probably a steal. Added points for the main character's punk design.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! Are there any action games where you can play as a dinosaur from a first-person shooter-style perspective? In Primal Carnage, for example, playing as dinosaur characters is restricted to the third-person perspective, in contrast to the first-person gameplay of human characters.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Turok 2: Seeds of Evil has the option to play as a Raptor in Multiplayer, though being limited to melee in a game that is primarily ranged FPS is difficult.

The Alien from Alien vs. Predator FPS games would probably know how that feels... or maybe not, given that it's more than capable of scaling walls, ceilings, and crawling through air vents to get the drop on those puny humans and dangerous Predators. And is ridiculously tough for an organic creature in the face of high-caliber bullets and other hazards.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. Not exactly playing as a dinosaur, but check out Natural Selection 2.
From the game I just mentioned: the small alien has a lightning-fast jump/homing dash so you can basically jump on the face of a space marine and hopefully you can bite them to death before they shake you off, then you get shot at and have to hide and retreat to regen health.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Hey, yo.
I've been in a mood for turn-based RPGs on the DS and 3DS. Can anyone help out there?
I don't really mean stuff like Fire Emblem or Pokemon. I mean obscure stuff that I can go in completely blind. Thanks!

- Dragon Quest 7-8
- Legend of Legacy

Thank you both! I really appreciate that.
I tried out the demo for Legend of Legacy once and liked what I saw, I'll keep that and the others in mind.
Long live the New Bev.Is there a game where one fights enemy entirely using dodges, counter attacks, and disarms?
So I just got a PS 4 a few months back and Im looking to expand my collection right now. Any recommendations on the fighting games front?
I heard Skullgirls is out there.
Other than that there's the usual AAA: Mortal Kombat X, Street Fighter V, Injustice 2, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite. (The latter is only recommended if you are competitive.)
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! There's also King of Fighters XIV. That one's a must.
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundIgnore. Posted while tired and couldn't read for shit.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?
I honestly can't think of any!
Then again I'm not big on City Building.
The only good one builder I know on mobiles is Fallout Shelter.
Obviously not medieval/historical, and has microtransactions, but it's very fair, and has in-game currency and resources.
